The episode starts with Bhim Rao complaining about people unable to express their pain. He went inside. Jijabai had nothing to do with Rama’s tears since Bhim Rao said that he liked them. Lakshmi has never heard a husband say something like that. Meera asked Rama to go to Bhim Rao.
Rama came to Bhim Rao complaining about not caring about her tears. Her illiterate uncle never talked to his wife like that. Bhim Rao silenced her. For Bhim Rao Rama’s tears were a delight because she showed anger for being called a lower caste. He liked the pain she got when being called a lower caste. That pain was symbol of being alive, symbol of a warrior. The caste system was a contemplation against the lower caste. Bhim Rao wants freedom from it, for his whole caste. Freedom from their rule
Guruji had brought Anand, everyone rushed to him. Lakshmi and Bhim Rao inquired. Anand replied that he fell into a pothole. Guruji excused himself, he left. Anand was taken inside. the neighbor doubted Anand, said that their family will be ruined. Ramji intervened saying that nothing can harm his family as long as he is alive. They asked him to worry about his injured son. Ramji thought it was Bhim Ra. The neighbors said that he wasn’t his only son. Ramji hurried to see Anand.
Ramji questioned Anand. Anand replied that there was nothing to worry about. Puranjan inquired. Rama’s sibling told that Guruji brought him here. Meera said that he took him to the doctor, he needs rest. Jijabai asked how he would be able to rest, he and his father were the only earning hands of this house. Bhim Rao requested Jijabai to discuss this matter later. Ramji asked everyone to leave. Jijabai argued. Ramji shouted, asked everyone to leave the room.
Ramji questioned Anand. He replied that he fell into a pothole. Ramji scolded him; he knew Anand was lying. Anand said that few men attack him, they might be Joshi’s men. He didn’t tell anyone about it otherwise everyone would Bhim Rao for that. For him Bhim Rao was the warrior of this fight, and he was his protector.
Bhim Rao heard Anand, for him he was not his protector but an equal. Every joy, every wound, every trouble they were to face together.
Bhim Rao was awake at night recalling about his incident in college and Anand. Rama came, she inquired. Bhim Rao scold her, asked her to sleep. Rama went outside. Bhim Rao went to sleep.
Daliya amma saw Rama, she went to her. asked if she had a fight with Bhim Rao. Rama knew that everyone blamed Bhim Rao, she wanted him to share his tensions with her, wished to help him. Daliya amma told her that men and women are opposite when it comes to sharing. Daliya amma taught her to care for his little actions, find solutions to his problems, intervene in his little matters. She will learn all his secrets. Rama wondered why Bhim Rao hovered when she touched his shoulder. Daliya amma asked her to sleep.
Rama came inside, she lifted Bhim Rao’s collar to discover many soar scars. She started weeping. Bhim Ra woke up, she questioned why he hid it from her. Rama prepared and applied medicine. She questioned how it happened. Bhim Rao informed that he was beaten for learning Sanskrit. Rama asked her to study Sanskrit under any condition.
Precap: Bhim Rao goes to the house of Sanskrit Professor to teach him Sanskrit. he has taken a stick with him in case the professor wanted to beat him. upon talking to a woman Jijabai asks Rama to work and earn until Bhim Rao doesn’t.
