Anand and Bhim Rao brought food and tea for Mangesh. He asked them not to worry for him a lot, Maharaj would trouble them for it as well. Anand said that Ramji has taught them to care for those in need. They gave him food asking him to eat. Mangesh reminisced the troubles he imparted on Ramji and his family. Mangesh said that though he has never been good to them yet they brought him food. Bhim Rao sad that realizing one’s mistake is the biggest apology, he emphasized on him to eat his food.
Rani was preparing the food, Sandesh scold him for not being punctual knowing his husband has to leave for work. he left asking to be called once the meal was ready. Bala came asking why Rani came to meet him last night, he grabbed her hand. Rani wanted to be left alone, Bala firmly gripped her hand. They both stood up. Bala kept insisting her to answer, he questioned if she doesn’t feel happy to meet him. Rani freed her hand, she agreed of being happy around him since the day he saved her life, but he never said anything to her thus she remained silent as well. He was afraid to say to him, she was a widow then. She was subjected to great miseries back and now she has a husband. Rani will not meet her again asking her not to come back. Bala refused to forget her, when she left, he promised himself not to think about her but and he was progressing, but she came back herself. Sandesh called for food, Bala was not responsible for her marriage. Rani begged him to leave. Bala said to keep return until he finds a solution to deal with his emotions
Sethji clapped as Mangesh took a bite, he taunted Mangesh for changing his Dharam and religion by facing just a minor problem. He said that by doing that he has bought himself a place in Hell. Mangesh answered that hell was when he lived with people like Sethji, for long he has lived under their influence but today he speaks for himself. Sethji said to have bought him alcohol, Mangesh replied that he has served a lot more tea to him. Sethji said that Alcohol’s not the same price as tea. Mangesh said that he has found this food brought by Bhim Rao and Anand the most expensive all in this world. Sethji said that the villagers despise Mangesh for his decision and for that if his family’s burned alive, he must not complain. Sethji will inform the villagers that Mangesh was eating food brought by Bhim Rao. Bhim Rao wanted to save Mangesh from Maharaj and Sethji.
