All kids submit their forms to Ambedkar ji and leave. Pendse ji compliments Ambedkar ji on his smartness (in a positive way). You added your name with Bheema’s name the moment you got a chance. I would have done the same if I had thought of it. It isn’t wrong as every Guru would want to associate his name with a great disciple. Ambedkar ji reasons that students are also like own kids. I added my name with Bheema’s for one more reason. People create problems for Bheema in Satara and so will the world. People define caste by surname. They wont be able to determine his background with my surname. It will make things a little easier for him. Pendse ji agrees. People still find alternate options to trouble people. Ambedkar ji nods. I will try to protect his self-esteem as much as I can. Rest depends on fate.
Bhimbai thinks of Vaid’s words. She wonders how to tell her husband. What if the expenses increase later on? I will joke about it today. Bheema asks her what she is thinking to discuss. She dismisses the topic. Sakpal boys share what happened in school today. From today onwards we will put Ambedkar in the end of my name. Bhimbai is touched. Bheema says Guru ji said it will save me from many troubles. Manjula asks him if he is Bheema Rao Ambedkar from today. He nods. Anand adds that Guru ji said he will be proud to share his name with a kid like Bheema. Bhimbai cups his face as she takes his complete name. your Guru ji did a great thing. Remember it always. Ram ji thinks of what happened today on the fields. Did I do the wrong thing? Will people hate me if they find out my background? I only did my duty as a soldier. What is the dharma of a soldier? He sits down to think. I have never thought of this before. Why are such thoughts bothering me today? I feel so heavy since I met those people. I was so proud of my job till yesterday but I doubt it now. I don’t understand how to ascertain of my past. Bala, Anand and Bheema rush to their Baba. Bheema relates how they got a new surname today. Ram ji isn’t too enthusiastic about it. Bheema suggests telling Guru ji he does not want it. Ram ji denies. Bheema asks him why he does not look pleased. Ram ji tells them to go and play. We will talk later. Anand and Bala walk away but Bheema sits next to his Baba. Something is bothering you but you aren’t sharing. Ram ji denies but Bheema says neither you nor Aayi share anything. Please share it. Ram ji asks him if he committed a mistake by joining British army. Entire country is against them right now. If I tell them about my previous job then they might get upset with me. This is making me wonder if I made a mistake. Bheema reasons that he had the responsibility of raising a family. You had to do what you were forced to do. You dint do anything wrong to anyone. I feel better now. I still think of doing something big for those who are rebelling against Britishers. I know that this world does not belong to Englishmen. Bheema asks him who it belongs to. Ram ji says it belongs to us Indians. Bheema asks him why everyone is not allowed to study then. Why can we not sit with everyone and eat? Why can we sit next to everyone? Ram ji says they are fighting to free the world from Britishers right now. Bheema says when I grow up, I will fight for the freedom of the world and its people. Bheema Rao Ambedkar is going to play with his brothers now. He leaves. Ram ji smiles thinking of his words.
Anand, Bala and Dhruv are playing. Dhruv holds his head suddenly and passes out on the ground. Anand and Bala panic. Bheema comes there just then. They are hesitant to touch him but Bheema reasons that saving his life is important at the moment. They will purify him later. They take him to the Vaid (same lady Vaid who had checked Bhimbai the other day) in a cart. Villagers notice this and are unhappy that Sakpal brothers have touched Dhruv. They don’t say anything to the boys though as they as they are getting late for work.
Ram ji takes out money from his pocket. We will pass the month with this. I will skip my tea from tomorrow to save some more money. Bhimbai overhears him. I will tell him about my disease after a month only. No one should find out about it till then.
Vaid ji checks Dhruv’s pulse. He will wake up in some time. Bheema asks her about Dhruv’s condition. Vaid ji says he will faint as he hasn’t eaten anything since 2-3 days. Bala finds it weird. Vaid ji advises them to give food to Dhruv once he wakes up. A guy comes to thank Vaid ji for treating him. No one could treat me till date but you have done magic. He gives her sweets but she tells him to distribute it to these boys as well. He says they are Ram ji’s kids. How can I give it to them? My happiness will be gone if I do so. She tells him to take the laddoos and leave. I could have given it to them after you had left but I wanted you to give it to them. You can leave now. You still have a disease. He panics. She says it is of untouchability. It is a grave mental illness and it cannot be treated. The guy leaves. Vaid ji tells Sakpal brothers not to feel bad about it. Bala says we are used to it. Bheema asks her about their mother’s condition. Anand says we will bring Aayi here first. How will she give medicine without seeing Aayi? Vaid ji looks at their faces intently. They seem to be Bhimbai’s kids. There is a resemblance. She will die without a timely treatment. Shall I ask them about her and inform them about her state?
