The episode begins with David willing to talk about his promotion. Arti walks in the room with tea, asked where David was headed. David was going out to ask for holidays so that he and Arti can go to London on vacation. Arti was overjoyed, she asked to get some of his clothes for the Deepak’s birthday celebration. David allowed; he had no issue.
Arti exhibited all his old clothes to Hitesh and others. Shoba questioned, she refused to have these clothes. David was watching them; Arti was getting to close to him and one must maintain distance from someone coming that close.
Bhim Rao saw David slapping his employee who brought the wrong file to him. Bhim Rao questioned David, he refused to accept injustice against his people. The employee asked Bhim Rao to leave. David wanted Bhim Rao to fear him, David was the country’s system while Bhim Rao was just an ordinary student. Bhim Rao wasn’t afraid; he has fought for justice his entire life and will continue to do so. David told that Bhim Rao’s behavior cost the employee his job. He went back to his car, employee begged to have his job. David asked him to slap Bhim Rao for it. The employee was ready to do so. Bhim Rao grabbed his hand, said that he will fight for justice forever for that he didn’t care whom he was facing.
Anand asked Lakshmi to head to work, he will do the grocery. Lakshmi asked him not to worry, she will do the grocery on her way back from work. The groceries and house chores have made Anand realized that in future jobs will not be segregated based on gender. Lakshmi seemed to disagree. Joshi wanted to know what Anand was discussing. Anand sent Lakshmi to work, he tuned to Joshi asked if Varchand was unwell. Joshi questioned. Anand told that a lot unfolded in past days, but Joshi and Varchand weren’t there to interrupt them. Joshi told that Varchand wasn’t well, but Joshi was here to intervene. Anand expected such behavior from Joshi, he invited Joshi to Deepak’s birthday celebration in evening.
Deepak cut his birthday cake. Everyone wished him. Daliya mocked Hitesh and others for wearing western attire. Hitesh asked for Dhool so tha they could dance and enjoy.
David was infuriated by recalling his earlier encounter with Bhim Rao.
Everyone in the chawl danced their heart out at Deepak’s birthday celebration. Arti felt nauseous, she puked, Shoba and Rama rushed to her. Arti told that she felt like vomiting. A woman congratulated Arti for expecting. Another woman spoke that Arti was not married.
David wanted to crush Bhim Roo, wanted to teach him a lesson.
Shoba questioned Arti, asked her to tell the entire story. Arti recalled her contend with David. Everyone wanted to know whose child she was carrying; they were calling this child a sin. Arti denied. Shoba wanted an answer, she was at verge of killing Shoba. Arti left; Shoba went after her. Ramji sent Lakshmi and Rama after them to control the situation.
The guests wanted to leave the party that had a characterless girl the hostess. Anand and Daliya requested the guests to wait for Shoba to return, a lot went into preparing for this birthday. Bhim Rao asked them not to call Arti a characterless woman, there was yet not conformation to that allegation. Jijabai challenged Bhim Rao to prove that Arti wasn’t characterless.
Shoba went after Arti, asked her to tell the name of the father. Shoba questioned Arti for disrespecting herself, running her values. She committed a sin. Arti denied calling it a sin rather a belonging of Arti and David’s love for each other. Arti told that David really loves her, he has promised to marry her as well. Being pregnant before marriage was a sin in India not in London. Shoba didn’t know who to talk to Arti, she asked Arti to either marry David in front of everyone or runaway with him or else the society wont let them live. Rama and Lakshmi heard the conversation.
