Jeevika slaps Maanvi, much to the shock of everyone in the room. Daddu chides Jeevika lightly for doing so and asks Virat to continue the tale. Swamini and Vanshika express doubts over the incident and Riya. Daddu announces that if Viren is convicted, no one in the family will support him. Daddu and Jeevika walk off. The rest of the family is in tears, Virat hugs a sobbing Maanvi.
Maanvi goes to Jeevika’s room and tries to explain her stance to Jeevika, who is not ready to listen to her. Maanvi cries and begs, but Jeevika yells at her and asks her to get out of her room as she doesn’t want to associate with anyone who suspects her husband.
In Hrishikesh, Beeji and Madan are worried about Viren. Sweety comes out and tries to convince Beeji and Madan that they should go off to Chandigarh to support Jeevika and the Vadheras. Beeji agrees to her idea, and decides to go off on her own, much to Sweety’s indignation who wanted to go along. Sweety runs off in a huff.
An emotional scene where Vanshika and Swamini break down regarding Viren’s arrest and possible conviction, while Inder tries to reassure them.
Maanvi breaks down into sobs in the garden, and is joined by Virat. She laments that she can’t see Jeevika in such grief, while Virat reassures her and tries to make her understand the situation from Jeevika’s point of view.
A telepathic conversation between Jeevika in her room and Viren in the jail. Viren is lamenting the situation at hand while Jeevika is optimistic that they’ll find a way out of the mess, and they’ll be together forever.
The next morning, Jeevika is bombarded with outrageous questions from journalists, which causes her to snap back at them and burst into tears. Vanshika overhears the call and reassures Jeevika that she’ll always be with her, and Viren is not to blame for the situation. In their conversation, Jeevika runs off to try and explain Daddu that Viren could possibly not have killed anyone, and Virat-Maanvi are mistaken.
At the same time, Swamini is having the same conversation with Daddu, where he admits that he is believing Virat-Maanvi cause he’s a lawyer, and he’s thinking about the situation from the point of view of a lawyer. Jeevika and Vanshika overhear the last part and are scandalised.
Precap: Jeevika is trying to put together the pieces and explain to Viren that Riya’s death wasn’t an accidental murder, but a preplanned conspiracy.
