Episode begins with Virat entering the mandir. The sisters are happy on seeing Virat and Viren enter the mandir, and so are the rest of the Vadheras. Both the sisters go up to their husbands and hug them. Virat and Maanvi join the rest of the Vadheras for a pooja. After the pooja, the entire family wishes Maanvi a Happy Birthday, and then Jeevika wishes her and then feeds her kheer.
Shlok pulls Maanvi away and Virat comes up to talk to her. Jeevika tries to apologise. Precap scene, where Virat tells Jeevika that he never expected her to lie, and he’s completely distraught that she broke his trust. He tells her that he’s gone far away from the family, and she can never bring him back anymore. Virat takes Maanvi’s hands and the two of them leave; the Vadheras look on sadly.
Maanvi awakes the next morning to the clanging of pots and pans. She goes to the kitchen, only to find Virat doing the dishes. She asks him what is he doing, to which he replies that he is doing the dishes, and he just finished doing the laundry and cooking breakfast. Maanvi is stunned and is trying to dissuade him from doing the dishes, and finally succeeds in pulling him away by threatening him to do all the housework.
Virat and Maanvi are sharing breakfast, and they have a small banter about the amount of food that Maanvi eats. He leaves to get some groceries, and Maanvi stays back, while she laments to herself about her loneliness. In a bid to find some work, she goes to dry the laundry, and is being secretly watched by a sad Jeevika.
On the other hand, Jeevika is in the kitchen cooking, when Viren comes finding her, trying to dissuade her from doing the housework. He forces her to come out, but she’s only thinking about the work that Maanvi has to do. Viren informs her about a client who is coming over for dinner, and he asks her to ask the butlers to arrange for a sumptuous dinner.
Tarun/Sundar brings a village belle to Jeevika, as she is his relative from his village searching for work. The woman keeps her face covered at all times and is mute.
Pammi, a random maid goes up to Maanvi and offers her services to Maanvi, who rejects her cause she is unable to afford 2500Rs for a maid. Jeevika is eavesdropping on this conversation.
Virat comes back home and lightly admonishes Maanvi for doing the laundry. At the same time, Tarun/Sundar comes in with the mute maid who is covered from head to toe and asks if they want to hire her. Virat wants to hire her immediately, but Maanvi’s frugality comes into the picture and she enquires about her fees. She offers to pay her 50Rs a day, and the maid silently nods, which delights Maanvi. The new maid begins to work from that very moment, and Virat runs off again.
Maanvi is glad that she has someone to talk to. Since the maid is “mute”, she decides to christen her Dhanno, and strikes up a small conversation with her, asking her about her family and telling her a bit about Virat and Jeevika, and how she misses her Di who would always be ready to help her at the drop of a hat. Maanvi also tries to coerce her into lifting her veil, but to no avail. She goes in, and Dhanno lifts her veil, only to reveal that she is Jeevika, who has come in to help Maanvi.
Precap:
Maanvi is hurt, and Dhanno/Jeevika is applying some cream/ointment on her hand. The moment Maanvi feels Dhanno/Jeevika’s touch, she stares at her in shock, and calls out “Di!” in astonishment, as she recognised her touch.
