The Episode starts with Vandana saying Prabhunath that we have to take a decision for making Poonam’s future secure. Kiran says Vandana is right, where will we go with Poonam tomorrow. We have only this option now. Kiran says lets go and talk to Poonam, don’t worry, we will not force Poonam. We will accept her decision. Lets go. Prabhunath and Vandana go with Kiran to talk to Poonam. Prabhunath says Vandana how will I ask Poonam about it. How can I tell her to marry Akash. Vandana says I can understand your position, but we know Akash. Kiran says so many people will say many things about Poonam, and we won’t be able to find a good proposal for her. Poonam hears everything and is shocked. Poonam sees that Prabhunath is crying. Vandana consoles Prabhunath. Poonam cries too. Prabhunath says Poonam’s dreams shattered infront of eyes and I could not do anything. Vandana and Kiran also cry. Prabhunath says I’m a unlucky father and I failed as a father.
Prabhunath breaks down and says I don’t know whether I will be able to give Poonam a secure future. Prabhunath says I don’t have courage to go to Poonam and talk to her. Prabhunath says Poonam should marry Akash as the society will not let Poonam live a good life and I won’t be able to save her. Poonam thinks about this. Prabhunath cries a lot. Poonam goes to him and holds his hands saying papa do my kanyadaan. Monica Didi, Akash and Chandru listen to this. She says I’m ready to marry Akash. Akash and everyone are shocked. Akash smiles. Prabhunath says are you serious, are you under any pressure. Poonam says no, I have thought about it.
Vandana says you have taken the best decision and hugs Poonam. Kiran takes Poonam to get freshen up.
Scene shifts to Akash’s house:
Mama is doing the exercise and trying to be like his brother-in-law. Akash’s mum asks him what are you doing, Mama says why are you worried, she says nothing like that. She says she is thinking about Tara. She says Tara is good, and she wished that she gets a bahu like Tara. Mama says whats the need to control your bahus. Akash’s mum slaps Mama and scolds him.
Scene shifts to Poonam:
Akash and Poonam come in the mandap. While his mum asks Mama to get out of the house. Kanno comes and says you are right. Akash’s mum scolds Kanno also. She asks Kanno also to leave from the house, and if she wants to stay in the house, then don’t come in between her and her brother. She pushes Mama out of the house.
The pandit asks Akash and Poonam to exchange the garlands. Poonam does not look at Akash and follows the rituals. Chandru is happy. The wedding rituals starts. Kiran ties the knot. Pandit asks Akash where is the mangalsutra.
The pandit says the mangalsutra should be from the groom’s side. Akash takes out his black thread from his neck and ties it to Poonam. Akash says this thread will save Poonam from every problem. Prabhunath and Vandana does the Kanyadaan.
Prathna stops her mum from sending Mama out of the house. Mama leaves saying I’m going and will not show my face again. Akash’s mum stops him again. She says I was angry, and you will leave forever. Both the sister and brother cry and forget the fight. Mama says I will not leave you. Kanno says I have not seen a woman like her.
Dadi and Akash’s brother are going to pick up Akash from Lucknow. Dadi says Akash does not know about his engagement. The wedding rituals are going on. Akash repeats the promises that pandit asks him to say to Poonam. Akash says from today, you are my responsibility. Poonam is silent.
Precap:
Akash and Poonam are taking the pheras. Dadi and Akash’s brother comes and sees them. His brother gets angry.
