The Episode starts with the guests saying that they cannot make Prathna their bahu. They say they saw the photo and thought the girl is fair, but she is not. They apologise to Shashikant. They advice them to accept the truth. Akash’s mum is shocked, to know that there will be difficulty in marrying off Prathna. They taunt Akash’s mum by saying ill about Prathna. Akash’s mum gets angry. Akash’s mum thanks her, saying you are our guests else I would have seen you. The guests leave. Prathna cries.
The guests say the pandit that he should have said that the girl is dark. Akash arrives and he asks the guests whether they met Prathna. The pandit says yes, and leaves. Prathna hugs her mum and cries. Everyone are sad. Akash comes in and asks why are you all silent. What happened.
Shashikant gets angry and asks everyone to stop. He says is it necessary to talk about it infront of Prathna. Prathna cries a lot.
Scene shifts to Poonam’s house:
The guests are still present. Vandana offers tea to everyone. Monica didi asks Neel what he is doing, he says he does not do anything. They see Poonam’s photos, Gawtham and Poonam are together. He holds her hand and smiles. Poonam does not say anything. Gawtham says tomorrow we will go somewhere, he says now we are engaged, we can go anywhere.
Gawtham’s parents are having the snacks. Prabhunath looks out for Akash. Vandana says she did not see him. Prabhunath calls out for Akash, Chandru says he left, he wanted to tell you, he got busy. Few guests were coming to see his sister Prathna, so he left.
Scene shifts to Akash’s house:
Prathna suns and locks herself in her room. Akash, Jai, and everyone go after her. They ask her to open the door. Akash too asks her, Prathna says she will not meet anyone, she does not have to marry anyone. Kannu taunts Prathna. Dadi says what are these rituals, they are joking on our daughters, like they are an item. Akash says you all go, I will bring her. Everyone leave from there. Akash’s mum gets sad. Akash tells Prathna everyone went, now open the door. She opens the door, he looks at her sadly. Prathna cries. Akash calms her down. Akash’s mum comes back and hears their conversation. Prathna says I will never marry. Akash says ok don’t marry, he says even Poonam is marrying somewhere else, so I will also not marry, we will be together and take care of our parents and Dadi.
Scene shifts to Poonam’s house:
Prabhunath sees the clothes he got in Shagun. Prabhunath is happy saying its good quality cloth. Gawtham calls and Vandana picks up the call. Gawtham says I want to talk to you. She asks what. Gawtham says he wanted to take her permission. She asks what permission. He says I wanted to take Poonam somewhere outside so that we can know each other. Vandana asks Prabhunath and he gives him the permission. Gawtham thanks them. Vandana says on one condition, thats you will not call me aunty. Poonam calls me Maa, you also call me Maa. Gawtham says ok Maa. Prabhunath is glad that Gawtham took their permission and respected them. Vandana says she is feeling bad that we cannot keep the values of Gawtham’s mum. Poonam says she was ready to wear the saree, but Gawtham said don’t wear.
Gawtham’s dad gets a call from Vandana. She says she wants to talk to Jamuna ji. He says Jamuna that she wants to talk to you, Jamuna does not want to talk to her, but later talks. She greets her, Vandana says I called to says sorry to you, as I could not value your talk. She apologises, Jamuna is happy and says its ok. Vandana says thanks, and she cuts the call.
Vandana says Poonam you were right, these people are really good from heart. Gawtham’s dad what did she say. Jamuna says she apologised.
She says Gawtham that she has to discuss something important. She says you also think about our family’s respect. As Poonam did not wear the saree which we gave her, it was related to our values. His dad says Poonam should take care of it. Gawtham says sorry, and he will take care of it in the future. He says he is opening the coaching centre outside Lucknow, so he wanted the marriage to take place earlier or later. His dad says lets keep it early.
Scene shifts to Akash’s house:
Akash’s mum is sad, and Shashikant comes to her, and says he can understand her. He asks her to forget everything. She says I cannot forget it, he says you don;t understand what I m saying. She says I understand, and I have decided that how to marry off Prathna. You see what I will do when the groom’s family comes, they will say yes.
Precap:
Prathna sats Akash to go and meet Prabhunath. Akash says ok, it might be something from the Lord. Prathna meets Poonam there in the coffee shop.
