Episode No: 175
Episode Date: 4th November 2016
Scene 1: Balcony
The episode begins with Shravan about to confess his love to Suman.
Shravan: Let it be, I see if there is ointment to heal your pain.
Sumo: (in her mind) even today you left it incomplete, whatever you wanted to tell me.
Shravan goes to find an ointment, Suman looks at the laptop and she opens it after Shravan leaves. She is surprised as she finds a certain law in London website.
Suman goes through the website. And as Shravan comes, he sees Suman checking the laptop.
Shravan: Sumo, I told you not that there is nothing. Why did you touch it?
Sumo: Liar!
Shravan realises Suman visited that website. Shravan quickly takes the laptop from her hand and switches it off.
Shravan: I got some ointment.
Shravan is applying some ointment on her leg.
Sumo: Today, I have realised that you haven’t really considered me as a best friend like you used to do.
Shravan: Now what have I done.
Sumo: Shravan, I have got to know about everything.
Shravan looks at Suman.
Sumo: I have openly told you about my dream and goals, and you? You didn’t even tell me about yours? Why did you hide this from me?
Shravan goes and sits on the chair near the sky.
Shravan: What’s the use of telling you?
Suman gets up of the chair and she limps and comes to him.
Shravan: Sumo, be careful! What are you doing?
Sumo: I am fine.
Suman sits beside Shravan and also looks at the sky. She holds Shravan’s hand. Shravan looks at her.
Sumo: Shravan, just tell me about your dreams. I promise I will try to help you.
Shravan: Actually the thing is, when I was in London, I pursued law there as you know.
Suman nods.
Shravan: There is a course of about 2-3 years in London, where lawyers can get more experience by knowing and taking up challenging cases and how to help the society. I wasn’t much interested in all these initially, but I don’t know how law became my passion at one point of time, and I got interested in that. Then, I decided that once I comeback from India, I will take up the training and pursue this course. But look at destiny, I couldn’t even go London.
Sumo: If you wanted to pursue this course then why you didn’t?
Shravan: You know what Sumo? What made me have passion towards law was my loneliness. After mom left me, and dad sent me to London for my benefit, initially I was a bit disappointed with him but I couldn’t blame him since I myself wanted to go away from India just to stay away from my past. But later, when I came to London I was lonely and to divert my attention, I focused to my studies and I didn’t know how law became my passion. This was a reason why I didn’t come to India, as I was a workaholic.
Sumo: Then you don’t have that dream anymore?
Shravan: Sumo is not that I don’t have that dream anymore, is just that when I came back to India, I realised that so what happened if my mom wasn’t here. At least my dad was there for me and you came back to me.
Music plays. Suman looks at Shravan.
Shravan: I know a lot happened between us, but not only you even my anger was somewhat to be blamed for it. It took me time to realise this. And I don’t want to lose you.
Suman gets emotional.
Shravan: I don’t want to lose my best friend. And as for this London training, it is of two months. I just have to go there soon for two months for training, and then after 2 years, I will take up the course and stay London for 2-3 years, and I will take my wife which means you there.
Sumo: You have thought that much?
Shravan: There isn’t any use of all this, dad won’t agree.
Sumo: But why won’t dad agree?
Shravan: I have asked him he didn’t agree. He wants me to handle our firm and also he agreed about my chamber with difficulty after you persuaded him.
Sumo: But in these 2-3 years you can persuade him!
Shravan: That is not the problem, the problem is the training, which is next week and since it is a very big platform for those who wants to establish a firm career they take this training beforehand so that they can know what to expect. Everything is fine. But, Dad won’t agree.
Sumo: I will make him agree.
Sumo: (in her mind) Why will dad have problem with Shravan taking the course?
Shravan holds Suman’s hand.
Shravan: Sumo, you know I am doing all these for dad too. Besides my own dream, even I want to see our firm grow big, I even spoke with but he didn’t agree, as he fears that I will settle there and never come back, since I can’t come to India or any other place if I take up that course for 2-3 years. And he have a reason, he is very lonely.
Sumo: Shravan, now I am here right?
Shravan nods.
Shravan: Will he agree?
Sumo: Of course, he will.
Shravan hugs Suman tightly.
Shravan: Thank you so much for understanding me, Sumo.
Title track plays.
Shravan: (in his mind) I am proud with the fact you are my wife and my best friend. I was in love with you, and even now I am but I fear, I fear that while loving you I may lose my friendship with you which I don’t want to happen.
Sumo: (in her mind) Shravan, tomorrow I will confess my love to you no matter what. I want to tell you everything before you leave for London your training. I will see who will stop you from going. They break the hug.
Shravan: It’s late now. I think we should go to sleep now.
Shravan makes Suman walk, and they go to sleep.
Next morning,
Scene 2: Nirmala’s Residence
Nirmala opens the door and is surprised to find Ramnath.
Nirmala: Ram!
Nirmala is about to close the door, Ramnath stops her from doing so,
Ramnath: Nirmala, please listen to me once!
Nirmala: Yes, I admit I have not went back to Mumbai, but I am anyways going back after 2-3 days, I am staying back here only for Suman, because I promised her.
Just then Aditya comes and he fumes as he sees Ramnath here,
Aditya: What are you doing here, Mr Ramnath Malhotra!
Ramnath: Adi beta, please let me talk to my wife.
Aditya: The lady, whom you are referring as your wife, is my mom Mr.Ramnath Malhotra!
Ramnath ignores Aditya.
Ramnath: Nirmala, please listen to me with very much difficulty I have mustered courage to come here!
Nirmala: You always say that, but you end up doing nothing, Ram!
Ramnath: Nirmala, I have decided that as soon as Shravan comes back I will tell him the entire truth! The entire truth!
Nirmala gets surprised.
Ramnath: Adi beta, it would be better if you leave us alone.
Aditya: No, I won’t leave mom, and whatever you want to say, tell me. I am here.
Nirmala: Adi beta, please for me! For me, leave us alone. Give us some time.
Aditya agrees, and he goes out angrily looking at Ramnath.
Aditya: I am waiting outside!
Ramnath comes in to talk with Nirmala.
Evening,
Scene 3: Hotel Room
Shravan is searching what to wear.
Shravan: So, Sumo how was today’s adventure in the car?
Sumo: It was good.
Shravan: Is your leg fine now?
Sumo: Yes, it’s fine now.
Shravan finds a white suit and he takes that out.
Sumo: You are going to wear this for tonight’s dinner?
Shravan: Yes, and what else?
Sumo: I have brought this suit for you. You will wear this.
Suman takes out a red suit,
Shravan: Red suit? Okay
Suman gives him a tie too.
Shravan: What will I do with them?
Sumo: Shravan please wear it with the red suit.
Shravan: What!
Sumo: Shravan, please for me.
Shravan: Okay fine, but it’s so weird.
Sumo: Thank you.
Suman whispers to Shravan.
Sumo: I will be waiting for you downstairs.
Suman leaves.
Shravan gets ready, and he looks like he is going to school.
Shravan: This Sumo have such a weird demand, I look like Shravan 10 years back, just if someone finds my old goggles and make me wear that. Seriously! And if I change, she will question me million things, so it’s better I just wear this.
Scene 4: Venue
Shravan comes downstairs where Suman told him.
Shravan: There is no one here, and where is Sumo? Did I come to the wrong place?
He is about to go,
Sumo: Stop Shravan!
Shravan looks behind and he is surprised as he finds Suman and looks at her from bottom to top, as she is dressed just like she was in school. She is in skirts and white blouse and red suit. Shravan is surprised and having mixed reaction, and is starting to understanding as he realised they are dressed somewhat similar to when they used to go to school.
Shravan: Sumo, what is this! Why are you…
Suman places her finger on his lips.
Sumo: You are incomplete without this, Chashmish!
Suman takes out a pair of goggles (the same Shravan used to wear 10 years back), and puts it on Shravan’s eye. Shravan smile.
Shravan: Sumo, in this glasses and attire I am not looking like Shravan 10 years ago, I am looking like Shravan 10 years later.
Sumo: Shut up!
Suman holds his hand. Shravan is not getting it.
Shravan: Sumo, where are you taking me? And why are we dressed like this?
Suman takes Shravan to the stage.
Shravan: Sumo, where are you taking me to?
Sumo: Come!
Suman brings Shravan to the stage, Suman whispers to Shravan. Only both of them are present the venue.
Sumo: I know no one is there. Assume that my friends and our schoolmates are there.
Shravan: Sumo, what is in your mind?
Suman holds Shravan’s hand and whispers to him.
Sumo: Just imagine us 10 years ago.
(This will be a combination of the reality and imagination of Shraman as they think themselves as teenager)
Sumo: Hi, I am Suman Tiwari one of the most so called famous girl in the school.
Shravan is totally confused.
Choti Sumo: You all must be thinking that why I brought this Chashmish nerd guy here.
Chota Shravan looks at Choti Suman.
Choti Sumo: This is Shravan Malhotra, my family friend.
Bada Shravan looks on.
Badi Sumo: You all must be thinking why I brought him here. Actually I have lied to all of you. He is not only my family friend but also my best friend.
Bada Shravan gets surprised.
Choti Sumo: You all must be thinking why I suddenly refer this nerd my best friend? Because he is really my best friend! I know you all must be surprised. That is because, in school we pretend as if we are just family friends and at home we are actually best friends.
Chota Shravan: Sumo, what are you?
Badi Sumo: It’s actually entirely my fault. Shravan has got nothing to do with this. I hid this fact, because Shravan is nerd and I didn’t want my so called reputation to be spoiled in school, that’s why I hid this fact, and made him hid this too. But actually truth is something else.
Badi Sumo comes to Bada Shravan.
Choti Sumo: This guy here has always been there with me in bad times, and you all refer me as Sumo right. This name is given by Shravan to me and no one else.
Chota Shravan gets emotional. Badi Suman holds Bada Shravan’s hand.
Choti Sumo: So, Mr. Shravan Malhotra, are you ready to be my best friend officially? Now no matter what, I don’t care about anything else, you are my best friend. Suman Tiwari’s best friend.
Chota Shravan: Yes Sumo, I am always there for you. You are my best friend and no one else.
Choti Suman and Chota Shravan hold each other’s hand.
Badi Sumo: So Mr.Malhotra are you ready?
Bada Shravan gets happy and emotional. Bada Shravan and Badi Suman hug each other tightly.
And they smile looking at each other. The episode ends.

Shravan lovingly looks at Suman. Shravan forwards his hand. Suman looks on. They both dance with , each other where Shravan and Suman share an intense eye lock.
Sumo: (in her mind) I will confess my love to him at any cost.
Suman hugs Shravan tight and she confesses to him.
Sumo: I love you Shravan!
Shravan looks on surprised and he looks at Suman.
Did Suman really confess her love to Shravan? What will be his answer? Will he also confess his love to her?
