Episode Date: 20th October 2016
Scene 1: Malhotra Residence
The episode begins with Pushkar reaching home.
Ramnath: Pushkar beta, where is Shravan and Suman?
Pushkar: Sir, actually I had to go somewhere else for some work, so that’s why, I think they will be here soon.
Just then Shravan and Suman reaches home.
Preeti: You mentioned about them and there they are.
Shravan: Sorry dad, we got a bit late, Suman had some work with her staffs that’s why.
Ramnath: You both came at the perfect time.
Shravan: Why dad? Is there any problem?
Ramnath: No, no.
Kamini: Ramnath Bhaisaab wants to say something that’s why. You both take a seat.
Shravan and Suman sit down on the sofa.
Ramnath: Remember, yesterday at the restaurant I told you both about the reception.
Shravan: Yes, dad you did tell us.
Ramnath: So, day after tomorrow is the reception, so Shravan, Suman, Pushkar and Preeti all four of you should be prepared.
Shravan: Dad, is this needed?
Pushkar: I agree with Bhaia.
Ramnath: Of course, it’s needed. The marriages happened all of a sudden, and I should have organised a grand wedding reception earlier on.
Suman: But uncle?
Ramnath: No one can change my decision and that’s final. Vandy you will bring Suman and Preeti for buying the things needed tomorrow, Varun you will bring Shravan and Pushkar. Kamini you will do the preparations and invite the guests, and Lalaji and I will do the rest.
All agrees.
Ramnath: Now, it’s very late, and anyways we must get the preparations done in advance.
Everyone leaves. Shravan and Suman goes to their rooms.
Scene 2: Shraman’s Room
Shravan and Suman are in the room. They look at each other, there is a pinch of silence and then they both laugh looking at each other.
Shravan: Wow reception!
Sumo: And that too day after tomorrow.
Shravan: But seriously, what’s the need of all this?
Sumo: Shravan you won’t understand. After marriage a reception is a must.
Shravan: Good luck for tomorrow.
Suman comes and snaps at him.
Sumo: I am not the only one so you have to face it too.
Shravan: So what’s my fault?
Suman holds his hand.
Sumo: Let’s face it together.
Shravan holds her hand too. They smile looking at each other.
Flashback,
Scene 3: PCT
After Suman asks Shravan for friendship in PCT,
Shravan: Why do you even ask for something which you can never get?
Sumo: Because I trust myself that I will get that something one day.
Music plays. Shravan looks on and ignores Suman.
Sumo: If you really don’t even be my friend, why do you care so much for me?
Shravan: Sumo, I already told you that I am just merely fulfilling the responsibilities Nanaji gave me.
Sumo: Who gave you the right to call me Sumo then?
Shravan: Sumo, but
Shravan looks.
Sumo: See, even now you are calling me Sumo. From now, since you don’t consider me a friend, what you said, yes acquaintance. So you can just call me Suman.
Shravan: I think it’s very late now, we should leave now.
Shravan is about to go, Suman holds his hand.
Sumo: Shravan, you can’t go without answering. I need my answer.
Shravan: You need my answer, right? I am sorry I just can’t be friends with you and I don’t like to repeat this all over again and the reason you know that too. Now let’s go in.
Shravan goes in the car, Suman had no other option but to go with him only.
Scene 4: Outside
Shravan is driving the car, and Suman is sad. Just then she sees a pav bhaji stall and she smiles.
Sumo: Shravan! Shravan! Stop!
Shravan stops the car.
Shravan: Why what happened?
Sumo: I want to have pav bhaji.
Shravan: Seriously? Sumo, I mean Suman. First of all, Pav Bhaji seriously? And secondly, it’s night now.
Sumo:First of all, be used to calling me Suman. Secondly, I am your wife Pati dev so you should agree with me.
Shravan looks at her surprised.
Sumo: What I just said I am your wife, i didn’t mention anything about friendship and as you said this chapter of friendship is merely our past. So now, just drop me here.
Shravan agrees.
Shravan: Let’s go.
As Suman is about to come out from the car,
Shravan: The only reason why I am allowing you to have pav bhaji is because of you didn’t eat much the whole day.
Suman ignores him.
Sumo: Bhaisaab, give me two pav bhajis.
The guy agrees and gives her two plates.
Sumo: You also have one plate.
Shravan: No, I can’t have all these.
Sumo: Shravan?
Shravan: I am your Pati dev right? And since I am your husband, you should agree to me right?
Sumo: You do what you want. I said that because you didn’t have anything since lunch.
Shravan ignores her.
Sumo: There are other stalls here, Pani Puri, Ice Candy you can have anything you want, but please have something.
Shravan agrees.
Shravan: Now that you are done with having Pav Bhaji should we leave now? Everyone must be waiting for us at home.
Sumo: Yes, I am done.
Shravan and Suman are about to leave, just then a guy comes to them. He looks very worried.
Guy: Excuse me, this is my wife, have you seen her anywhere?
The guy shows them a picture of his wife. They didn’t see so they refuse.
Sumo: No, we didn’t.
The guy looks worried.
Sumo: Shravan, I think we should help him out. He looks very worried.
Shravan agrees.
Shravan: Where was the last time you saw her?
Guy: At our house. Actually we had a fight, and then she left angrily. It’s all because of me.
Shravan: What have you done?
Sumo: Shravan, there is no time for this and we should help him out.
Shravan: Come with us.
Shravan and Suman take the guy in the car and as he looks around.
Guy: Stop here!
Shravan stops the car. They find a lady sitting near the lake alone and crying. The guy immediately gets out of the car and runs.
Shravan: Hey!
The guy comes and hugs the lady.
Guy: Aastha!
Aashta: I am sorry Viren!
Viren: It’s my entire fault, I shouldn’t have scolded you. Even it was my mistake.
Aastha: No, it’s my mistake. I started it, you just vented out your anger and I blamed you. I am sorry.
Viren: You wanted another chance, right? Okay I give you another chance, but please never ever leave me like this. You know how much scared I got.
Aastha: But?
Viren: I forgot you did a lot for me and I… I have always hurt you. You did hurt me too, but I was no less too but this time I crossed my limit. If you gave me a second chance even if I don’t deserve it, you should get a second chance too.
Aastha gets emotional. Shravan looks at Suman with a bit guilt. Suman just looks at Aastha and Viren, emotionally.
Aastha: No Viren. Don’t say like this. We both were at fault. But better late then never at least you realised this fact. Let’s forget everything and start our lives afresh.
Aashta and Viren hugs each other. Shravan and Suman smiles seeing this.
Later, Aastha and Viren comes and thanks Shravan and Suman.
Viren: Thank you so much. If it wasn’t for both of you it would have been difficult to find her.
Aastha: Thank you so much for bringing my husband here.
Sumo: No worries. And Viren, Aastha stay happy. Always listen to your partner, entirely first.
Shravan: We would drop you both home.
They agree.
Later, after droping Aastha and Viren,
Shravan is driving the car and Suman looks on. Just then Shravan stops the car.
Sumo: What is it Shravan? We are getting late.
Shravan: Get out of the car.
Suman is surprised.
Sumo: But why?
Shravan: I said get out of the car.
Suman does so. Shravan comes out of the car.
Sumo: Shravan? What’s going on here?
Shravan hugs Suman. Music plays. Kahin Tere Khamoshiyan Jit Na Jaye Pyaar Se part plays. Suman is surprised. They break hug.
Shravan: I have taken my decision.
Suman gets worried.
Sumo: What kind of decision?
Shravan holds Suman’s hand.
Shravan: I have decided to give our friendship another chance. After seeing Aastha and Viren I have changed my mind.
Suman leaves Shravan’s hand.
Sumo: Leave it! I already said that before but you didn’t agree. So it’s too late now.
Shravan gets sad. Suman smiles and hugs him back. Suman whispers to him.
Sumo: Can’t you agree earlier on?
Shravan smiles.
Shravan: Sorry baba. But now I have agreed. But our friendship will have some rules and regulations.
Sumo: Wow you are an expert in reading my mind.
Shravan: Really?
Suman hits Shravan like they used to in teenage times and Shravan does the same. They smile.
Sumo: Now we are getting late. Let’s talk about it once we reach home.
Shravan agrees and they leave for home.
Scene 5: Shraman’s Room
They get out of the flashback.
Shravan looks at Suman and she smiles at him.
Shravan: Now why are you looking and smiling at me? This is freaking me out.
Sumo: Now, Pati Dev we should get to rules and regulations.
Shravan: Okay fine.
Sumo: So, there will be 7 rules, 3 set by me, 3 set by you and 1 by us through mutual agreement.
Sumo: So, I will begin. Rule 1, this side of the bed is mine and that side of the bed is yours.
Shravan smiles.
Shravan: Rule 2, you shouldn’t have a problem with me in drinking.
Suman gets stunned.
Sumo: Shravan? Drinking? Look I can’t control you when you are drunk. And your height oh God!
Shravan: Don’t worry I will have a little bit only.
Sumo: Then it’s fine.
Sumo: Rule 3, you will always keep the bathroom clean no matter what.
Shravan looks at Suman shocked.
Sumo: Why are you looking at me like this? You came from London and you should at least know this.
Shravan unwillingly agrees.
Shravan: Rule 4, whenever you or me, any of us gets late for work we shouldn’t wait for each other and have dinner and sleep.
Sumo: But I am your wife, what if I am worried?
Shravan: But I didn’t say anything when you set your rules.
Suman also unwillingly agrees.
Sumo: Rule 5, both of us should spent time with each other once a week and with the family once a week too.
Shravan smiles and agrees.
Shravan: Rule 6, we won’t hesitate to ask help from each other if needed.
Suman smiles and agrees.
Sumo: Now it’s the last rule.
Shravan: What do you think?
Sumo: I think we should set it based on trust, so that we don’t lose the second chance we both have.
Shravan: Yes true,
Sumo: So the last rule, Rule 7 is.
Shravan: No matter what the situation is,
Sumo: We should not lie to each other.
Suman and Shravan gives each other a hi-5. Suman finds Shravan’s laptop.
Sumo: Shravan, I am lending your laptop for a while.
Shravan: Why?
Suman goes to word and types the rules, and on top of that she types something and also some lines. Suman connects it to the printer and prints it.
Shravan: What’s this?
Sumo: Our contract.
Shravan: What?
Sumo: We should follow the rules we set, and if any of us broke the rule, their punishment will be, and he/she will be the one to treat street food. And if it’s four times in a row, it will be a hotel or restaurant.
Shravan laughs
Sumo: Don’t laugh because I am sure you will be the first one to treat.
Shravan: Let’s see.
Suman pretends to smile, and she orders him.
Sumo: Now sign.
Shravan signs and Suman does that too, and takes a picture.
Sumo: Here is the proof too, what if it gets lost and I will send you the picture too.
Shravan: Now it’s late, I think we should sleep now since there are preparations for the reception to be done too.
Suman agrees.
Shravan and Suman freshes up.
Shravan gets ready to sleep, and Suman looks at Shravan.
Sumo: Shravan, there is something I need to tell you.
Shravan: What is it?
Sumo: Actually that day, remember in the cafe, I went to meet my PCT client.
Shravan nods.
Sumo: I am sorry. I lied to you that day. Actually I went to met Aditya.
Shravan gets surprised.
Sumo: He told me everything.
Shravan: But he told you that before right?
Sumo: No he told me that too.
Suman narrates what Aditya told him.
Suman hugs Shravan. Shravan looks on surprised.
Sumo: Shravan, why you didn’t tell me he kidnapped you?
Shravan: I didn’t want you to get worried.
Sumo: I did so much to you, you still care for me.
Shravan: After all you are my…
Shravan pauses. Suman looks on.
Shravan: My childhood best friend.
Sumo: You know if anything happened to you, what would have happened to me? You dont know how much I…
Suman pauses. Shravan looks on.
Shravan: You?
Sumo: I would have felt bad since it’s all because of me.
Shravan: Look whatever happened that day, wasn’t your fault at all. It was all destined to happen. We can’t change it.
Shravan cups Suman’s face.
Shravan: But I am happy with the fact, you didn’t make me regret giving my best friend a second chance. And I am so happy you told me the truth that you went to meet Aditya that day.
Sumo: I had to.
Shravan: I knew you went to meet Aditya.
Suman gets surprised.
Shravan tells her how he saw Suman talking with Aditya, and he got angry and left, and later how Aaru told him the whole story of what actually happened.
Sumo: Shravan you didn’t tell me?
Shravan: Because I wanted you to tell me first. And you did that. Now I don’t regret for this second chance.
Suman smiles.
Shravan: Now it’s very late. Let’s go to sleep.
Suman agrees and they both go to sleep.
The episode ends.
Precap: Shravan and Suman, and also Pushkar and Preeti’s reception is happening with full swing. Just then Shravan makes an announcement. Shravan makes a speech where he says he is not at all happy with his marriage. All especially, Suman gets shocked.
