Episode No: 161
Episode Date: 17th October 2016
Scene 1: On the Road
Shravan and Suman are going to the court by car. Suman is yawning.
Shravan: Looks like you didn’t sleep entire night.
Suman gets thinking and remembers how Shravan was worried and sleeping on her shoulder.
Sumo: I wonder why Nanu called us home suddenly early morning. I just hope everything is fine.
Shravan: Don’t worry. I am sure everything is alright.
Sumo: If you want, you can go to the court. I will manage Nanu.
Shravan: It’s fine. Nanu have called both of us. And anyways there is still time for the case to start.’
Scene 2: Tiwari Residence
Mamiji is serving tea to Nanu.
Mamaji: Why have you called Shravan and Suman so early in the morning?
Nanu: When they will come, you will get to know about it.
Just then Shravan and Suman reach at Tiwari Residence.
Nanu: Here there are.
Shravan and Suman takes the blessings of Nanu. Nanu blesses them.
Sumo: Nanu, what happened? You called us here, so early in the morning?
Nanu nods.
Nanu: Shravan beta sit here beside me.
Shravan looks at Suman and does so.
Shravan: What is it Nanu?
Nanu: Look Beta, I know you have a case to fight today. And I also know that you have taken up a really difficult case. I have been a lawyer so I have the experience. Always remember one thing. Be yourself at the end of the day.
Shravan looks at Nanu, and gets encouraged. Suman smiles.
Shravan agrees.
Nanu: You are a lawyer and usually it is so disheartening the fact that people take up case based on the salary they get. But at the same time, even today people like you exist who is always ready and there to help the needy. I am really proud of you.
Shravan smiles.
Nanu: I am proud with the fact I got my grand-daughter married to such an understanding guy like you.
Shravan and Suman stares at each other surprised. Music plays.
Nanu: I am sure you can win this case, and even if you don’t, never lose hope. Always remember what happens, happens for the good, I am saying this because I have seen the world more than you did.
Shravan: I will try my best.
Nanu: All the best, beta.
Shravan: Okay Nanu, I should take your leave now.
Nanu: What time is your case?
Shravan: 10pm.
Nanu: There are still time, you and Suman will have breakfast with us and that’s final.
Shravan: But Nanu? I will just tea that’s fine with me.
Nanu: You are very stubborn.
Mamiji serves Shravan tea.
Shravan: Wow Chikki. Nanu, you still remember that I love having chikki with tea?
Nanu: Of course, I remember. How you used to take some Chikki from the jars in the kitchen and then have tea with it?
Shravan smiles, He drinks tea with Chikki.
Sumo: (in her mind) This Shravan is still the same, he have grown up but still does weird stuff like having Chikki with tea. Who does that? It is very hard to understand him.
Scene 3: Court
The case continues.
Judge: So, Mr.Malhotra, do you have any evidence that will prove that Miss Prakash’s parents didn’t sign the contract illegally.
Shravan looks at the watch.
Judge: Mr.Malhotra?
Randhir: Actually, Mr.Malhotra’s silence says it all. He doesn’t have any evidence?
Judge: How about the lawyer you spoke about?
Shravan: Yes, that lawyer, I could have brought him here, but unfortunately he deceased a year ago.
Shravan looks down. Aaru and her mom are shocked.
Randhir: Wow what a story. First, Miss Prakash says that she doesn’t know her appeal is rejected, her mom doesn’t even know the contract was of a few years, and now the lawyer died. And on top of that they violated a rule and that was to not represent a witness.
Judge: Mr.Malhotra, do you have any other evidence?
Shravan: But the thing is this…
Judge: Yes or no?
Shravan nods no.
Randhir smiles.
Randhir: Without evidence, a statement is useless. So now, without wasting any further time, which should have been done earlier, I would love the court to declare with evidences present that this land now belongs to my client Mr.Vivek Malik.
Judge: Due to lack of evidences, the land of Miss Prakash now belongs to
Just then a voice,
Voice: Wait a minute.
All looks on. She is none other than Suman.
Suman brings a guy with her.
Shravan, Aaru and her mom smiles seeing him.
Shravan: I am sorry Judge, You were asking for me for evidence. I got one. Here he is. And I am sorry I had to do so without asking, but I had a valid reason behind this. And I got to know about this all of a sudden.
Randhir: This is not fair. This is not done.
Shravan: Mr. Jaiswal, just chill. You are very sure, you will win this case right? And that this will turn wrong also?
Randhir: Exactly. It’s waste of time.
Shravan: Since a lot of time is wasted, and there must be a good result of it, and that the truth must win. So please, one last time let me represent this evidence this will change the entire case.
Randhir: Objection.
Judge: Overruled. Mr.Malhotra you can represent your evidence.
Shravan: And there is my witness.
Shravan: Actually this contract paper which Mr. Jaiswal represented which was signed between my client Miss Prakash’s parents this entire contract itself is false.
Judge: What are you saying?
Randhir: So now you are framing me?
Shravan: Actually, Mr. Jaiswal himself didn’t know that this contract is false.
Randhir: What’s the proof?
Shravan: This witness of mine, the one from whom my cilent’s parent actually brought the land, Mr.Kapoor.
All are shocked.
Randhir: But Mr.Kapoor is him?
Judge: What are you saying Mr.Malhotra?
Pointing to the Mr.Kapoor (not the witness), who gave statement against Aaru.
Shravan: Oh yes he is also Mr.Kapoor. Mr.Kapoor please come here in the witness box.
Shravan looks at the judge.
Shravan: Before, my witness Mr.Kapoor makes a statement I would love to ask some question to this Mr.Kapoor.
Mr.Kapoor (from the opponent side) comes to the witness box.
Shravan: You are Mr.Kapoor right? Then show us. Show us your national ID.
Mr.Kapoor sweats,
Mr.Kapoor: I left that home.
Shravan: Oh wow. Who leaves their national ID card at home?
Shravan: I will ask you some question. First of all what’s your name?
Mr.Kapoor : Mr.Kapoor.
Shravan: I know you are Mr.Kapoor, but what Kapoor?
Mr.Kapoor : Mr. Vinay Kapoor.
Shravan: Okay, and when was this contract signed?
Shravan shows him a paper.
Mr.Kapoor : 5 years ago.
Shravan: Is this the contract you signed with Miss Prakash’s parents.
Mr.Kapoor: Yes, I signed it five years ago.
Shravan: And you were in good terms with them also, right?
Mr.Kapoor: Of course I was. We were on very good terms. I used to chat with Prakash bhaisaab, and then Bhabiji used to cook. And Aaru? She a little kid, how can I forget her? I even gave her chocolates. I kept her in my lap.
All are stunned.
Shravan: What did you say?
Mr.Kapoor : I kept her in my lap.
Shravan: What was her age?
Mr.Kapoor : 10 years old.
Shravan starts laughing.
Shravan: Wow, so she was 10 that time, 5 years ago right?
Mr.Kapoor nods.
He turns out to be an imposter
Shravan: Mr.Malik you should have hired a better imposter. He doesn’t even know maths. Even Nobita is better than him. Then in that case Miss Prakash should be 15 or 16. Mr. Randhir, what do you think does Miss Prakash looks like 16 to you?
Suman and Aaru tries not to laugh.
Randhir looks at the imposter Kapoor angrily.
Shravan: Sometimes what is seen it’s not so. But there is a saying that one shouldn’t overdo stuff. Our dear Mr.Kapoor, oh sorry now he is an imposter did his job well but he overdid it so he got caught.
Shravan: Now that you are exposed, tell us your actual name?
Imposter: My name is Bantoo. Bantoo Banbar.
Shravan: That is your actual name?
Imposter: Yes, now I show national ID also.
Shravan: So, you were lying?
Imposter: But now I am speaking truth.
The imposter sweats and so does Mr.Malik.
Shravan: Now I would represent the actual Mr.Kapoor,my witness He will tell us what actually happened that day?
Mr.Kapoor:. Years back, Mr and Mrs. Prakash came to me to buy this land, they were in hurry. I wasn’t that ready due to lack of witness, but later considering Mr.Prakash’s ill health I agreed. And we became friends, but after Mr.Prakash died, his wife and daughter went back to Dubai. I wasn’t in touch with them.
Shravan: Did you state that there was a contract of a few years regarding this land?
Mr.Kapoor: No I didn’t do that. I officially sold this land.
Shravan: Thank you so much.
Shravan: Here is the actual contract agreement which was signed between the two parties.
Shravan passes the papers to the judge. The judge sees it.
Judge: Due to foul play, the court orders a imprisonment of 6 months to Mr. Bunty Barber.
Imposter : Not Bunty Barber, Bantoo Banbar.
Judge: Okay, Mr. Bantoo Banbar.
Shravan: Now that the case is solved, we would like to call Mr.Malik to tell us the whole story.
Mr.Malik comes.
Malik: Yes, it is true. It is true that I made this imposter Mr.Kapoor, this is because we knew this land has a huge value, and when I came to know about the witness thing thanks to my man, we just had no other option but to do this. Prices of land are increasing day by day so this was the only way to get a land anyhow in a low price.
Shravan: Thank you very much.
Shravan: Yes, yes it’s true that my client’s parents brought this land without a witness from the other side, but that doesn’t justify Mr.Malik’s action to illegally usurp this land and that too with imposters and all that. Fake documents were represented. Advantages were taken, and many lies on top. So just to punish one lie, we cannot ignore the thousands of the lie. So now, the decision is up to you.
Judge: Now that, this case is clear, Mr. Vivek Malik gets imprisonment of 1 year and also a huge fine is to be paid by Mr.Malik. The land is now of Miss Aradhya Prakash officially.
Aaru and Sumo gets happy.
Judge: But what Mrs. Prakash did wasn’t right years back, so court orders them to pay a fine for violating this important rule. The court is adjoined.
Scene 4: Court
All congratulates Shravan.
Sumo: (in her mind) I should congratulate him.
Just then, Aaradhya hugs Shravan.
Aaru: Shravan, thank you so much yaar.
Shravan: It’s okay.
Aaru’s mom give Shravan some money.
Aaru’s mom: Here are the fees.
Shravan: Aunty, you keep this with you. I no need that. I won this case that’s a lot for me, but yes you can do one favour for me. Pay this as a fine and promise me you will never ever do illegal stuffs no matter what.
Aaru’s mom: Yes, that was my mistake, but I became so emotional. I promise.
Suman smiles seeing this and she tries again to congratulate him, and just then.
Shravan looks behind and it’s Randhir Jaiswal.
Randhir: Mr.Malhotra congratulations for today’s case, and I have learnt one thing. Win or loss is not important. What’s important is truth and respect. You have not only won the case today, but respect also.
Shravan scolds him.
Shravan: And you have not only lost also, but lost respect by supporting a wrong client.
Randhir: Yes, I agree.
Shravan: Now you understand how it feels when you lose.
Sumo: (in her mind) This Shravan won such a difficult case and supported truth, but his ego and arrogance. I do one thing I won’t even congratulate him. Kharoos Kahika!
Suman leaves.
Randhir: Yes, I understand. And sorry I taunted you.
Shravan: It’s fine.
Randhir: But I didn’t understand one thing. How did you know that Mr.Kapoor is an imposter?
Shravan gets into a flashback.
Shraman goes to Aaru’s home to pick Aaru. And there they find that dog, Cadbury.
Sumo: Shravan, see this Cadbury have grown up so much!
Shravan comes and pats Cadbury, and they play with it. Just then Aaru’s mom comes and shows them some picture of their childhood, and a picture of them with the land.
Aaru’s mom: I never expected Kapoor saab to do like this.
Aaru: That’s Mr.Kapoor?
Aaru’s mom nods.
Aaru: No! That isn’t Mr.Kapoor.
Aaru’s mom: Yes he is Mr.Kapoor, and infact he was tall.
Aaru: He is short.
Aaru’s mom:No no!
Shravan remembers how he found Mr.Kapoor fishy .
Shravan: Do you have his number?
Aaru: Yes, the last time I spoke with him was two years ago, I am not sure if that number is still in use or not?
Aaru’s mom agrees and gives him the number. Shravan speaks and they found out that the Mr.Kapoor in court is imposter.
Shravan: He is an imposter. Aunty is right! He said he doesn’t have any idea about the case filed on the land. I have called him to the court he agreed but?
Aaru: But?
Shravan: His place is very far, it will take at least an hour or more and by then the case will start.
Sumo: You all do one thing. Go to the court and I will bring Mr.Kapoor.
Shravan agrees.
They get out of the flashback.
Shravan: If it was not for Sumo. I would have lost today. I am very lucky that my best friend is my wife.
Randhir: Looks like you both love each other a lot.
Music plays. Shravan ignores what he just said.
Shravan looks and finds Suman.
Shravan: (in his mind) Where is Sumo?
Shravan finds Suman with difficulty, as the place is crowded.
Shravan: So there you are?
Sumo: Why were you finding me?
Shravan: I wanted to thank..
Just then someone shoves Shravan and they both are about to fall on each other, they get hold. Music plays. The episode ends as they look at each other.
Precap: Suman gets a call and she gets surprised. Later, at night she sees Shravan sleeping. She sits beside him and caresses him as he is sleeping. Tears drop from her eyes.
First of all, Happy Holi to everyone. Hope you all enjoyed your Holi a lot this time. And yes secondly, I didn’t update anything this weekend so for the compensation I uploaded a ShraMan one shot specially for Holi only. And I went to watch Badrinath ki Dulhania yesterday and it’s an awesome movie. I enjoyed it a lot especially Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were amazing. My favourite songs of that movie are Tamma Tamma and Sun Mere Humsafar.And yes congratulations to our dear cute friend, PrettyPreeti for doing very good results, she got 96% in her exams. Love you Preeti, and love you all.
