Suman wearing a bag leaves home hiding and via ladder climbs into Shravan’s room. She smiles seeing sleeping Shravan. Tu Nazm Nazm sa mere hoton pe teherja…song..plays in the background. She lifts curtain and sunlight falls on Shravan. Shravan turns his face. She pampers Shravan’s hair and says she feels pitty for him, their fate is going against them, what will happen to them now. Shravan opens his eyes, holds her hand and says he knew she would inform her family and they would accept it. Suman says she tried to explain it to her parents, Daadu, Kanchan, etc., but they rejected civilian Shravan and wants an army man instead. Shravan gets sad that her whole family rejected him. Suman says his whole family has one or another problem, his family parks car wherever they like, his chachu plays loud music always, his mother can speak till 200 meters without mobile phone; her army family cannot accept all this. He asks what about her. She says she is mad in his love. He gets happy and asks why did she bring bag. She says she wants to elope with him before her family catches them and says even if the families are poles apart, love can change them. Shravan agrees and says he will pack bag and asks will she fold his clothes. Suman hopes she did not do a mistake by loving him. He says no, he wants to become an example for her family, so they should wait for sometime till daadu gives permission. Daadu enters with gun and shoots at Shravan. Shravan wakes up from sleep afraid and realizes it was a dream. Avni says he failed in love. Shravan shoos her away and smiles thinking of Suman.
Daadu presses Ramesh’s hand and scolds him for having weak handshake, says they are going to attend army wedding and this is how he will shake hands with army men. Beena enters and handles situation. Daadu says his subordinate Colonel Kapoor has sent car for him in his honor. Beena says they are taking special gift for Colonel Kapoor’s daughter’s wedding and reveals that she is marrying a civilian. Daadu gets angry and walks away saying Brigadier Tiwari will not attend Civilian wedding. Suman and Kanchan enter asking what happened to daadu. Beena says don’t know what happened years ago that Daadu hates Civilians. Ramesh asks not to discuss about it again and leaves for wedding with Beena. Kanchan says civilians are so cool, but Daadu has problem with them. She praises Shravan in front of Suman and says daadu has problem with even Shravan, he is her school buddy and she can explain daadu.
Shravan enjoys dinner with family. His chachu Rajender pulls chair for chachi. Whole family jokes. Devraj enters asking them to speak slowly, else neighbors will be joked. Father praises Shravan’s improved behavior after joining army school. Kavita says army school is troubling her son a lot. Shravan says they are good and he learnt discipline in school. Kavita says don’t know they manage so much discipline and orders servant to bring big glass of lassi. Shravan thinks it is difficult to unite families.
Vijay gets ready in army clothes to get his physical fitness report from doctor and tells Anjali that he is sure reports will be positive and he will rejoin army soon, an army man not only fights with enemies but also his wounds. She says he will. He asks if family went for wedding. She says Daadu didn’t go as colonol Kapoor’s daughter is marrying a civilian and its a love marriage. Vijay also feels awkward. Doctor visits him and informs that he is still unfit to rejoin army. Vijay gets sad.
Bunty meets Shravan, shows him a girl’s profile, and says he had posted Shravan’s pic and chatted with the girl, now he should get ready to meet her. Shravan reveals that he loves Suman. Bunty gets angry and says he was trying for Suman, but Shravan betrayed him. Shravan says he hasn’t yet proposed Suman and they are still friends. They both walk into balcony and see Suman’s mood off. Kanchan signals Shravan. Shravan makes a paper plane and calling her flies it towards her saying this will uplift her bad mood. She opens paper and seeing her sketch laughs. He says he knew she would laugh seeing her cartoon sketch. Suman angrily says it is her copy page. Suman shows copy and asks when shall he come to return it. She says anytime and walks away fuming. Kanchan says Shravan uplifted Suman’s mood. Bunty praises Shravan.
Vijay sits in lawn sadly. Suman walks to him and tries to cheer him up in vain. She walks away. Devraj walks in and says he should relax for some more time with family and enjoy tea with his friend. Vijay in a bitter tone says Devraj must be happy as he can get his project approved via another officer. Devraj hurt says he showed that army men never consider civilians as friends and he should know that he is a honest businessman. Vijay says if that’s true, then its good, rest time will reveal. Devraj walks away wishing him get well soon.
