Ek birthday aisi bhi……..

She was running here and there, shouting, “Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to Twinkle…Happy Birthday to me!!” And clapped crazily, as if it is the best day of her life!!

She rushed to me and twirled me in excitement..and hugged me tightly and said, “Oh God Kunj!! I can’t believe I finally turned 20!! Woah!! This is gonna be the best day of my life … My li-li-li life (She sings the song)”

I was just adoring her like anything. And why shouldn’t I…after all she is my childhood sweetheart 🙂 My chain of thoughts was broken by her only as she shook me and said, “Hey partner!! Where are you lost???” I just smiled and nodded my head in a NO saying, “Nothing!!” She said with naughtiness on his face, “That’s good!! By the way Mr.Kunj Sarna where is my gift??”
I grinned and said, “Do I had to get one for you??”
She frowned and said, “Hey you??? Don’t you dare tell me there is nothing for me…”
Her face turned pale and she started sobbing as she sat down on the chair nearby. I got concerned and rushed to her and sat on my knees asking her, “What happened??” She looked at me with painful eyes and after wiping her tears said, “Kunj…It has been 12 years since Ma and Papa left me! You were like a son to Ma and Papa after Usha Masi and Manohar Mausa’s death. Since then we were for each other. Only you are my light of hope! Please never disappoint me! Never Kunj!!” She started crying again!!
God…Her crying gives me pain…I can never bear tears in her eyes..I just hugged her tightly and rubbed her hair saying, “Twinkle I will never disappoint you!! Never ever!!” I said breaking the hug. She looked at me with tears in her eyes, I wiped the tears saying, “These tears are more precious than diamonds so don’t waste them”
She smiled at me.

So you have heard a lot till now. Now let me introduce myself. Myself, Kunj Sarna. I am 23 years old and doing my MBA, whereas she is my drama queen, my Twinkle Taneja. Let me share a secret with u all which is…………… I LOVE HER! Yes I indeed love her. And this birthday will be the most special birthday for my princess.

I forwarded my hand to Twinkle asking, “Shall we??” She looked at me confused and asked, “Where??”
I smiled and said, “Do u trust me?” She nodded in agreement. I continued, “Then let’s go!!”

And we left……

We reached at an ice-cream parlor, which is her favorite and as always she ordered her flavor, DOUBLE FUDGE…..She got her cup and started eating childishly while I continued adoring her….

Karam khudaya hai

(Twinkle gets ice cream over her right cheek)

Tujhe mujh se milya hai

(Kunj signs to wipe off her face but she does not get it)

Tujh pe hi mar ke toh mujhe jeena aaya hai…

(Kunj leans closer to Twinkle and wipes off her face)

Tere sang yaara

(Twinkle sees a person selling balloons and requests Kunj to buy them)

Khush rang bahara

(Kunj buys balloons for her which are multi-colored as she smiles and squeals after getting them as a child)

Tu raat deewani

(Twinkle happily let goes the balloons in the air like a free bird)

Main zard sitara

(Kunj smiles looking at her childishness)

O tere sang yaara

(Kunj walks to Twinkle)

Khush rang bahara

(Twinkle and Kunj look at each other)

Tu raat deewaani

(Kunj takes out a rose from the back which he was hiding)

Main zard sitara

(Twinkle looks on amused and hugs Kunj tightly)

Kahin kisi gali se jaun mein

(Kunj looks at Twinkle and dreams that….)

Teri khushbu se takraun me

(that…He and Twinkle are dancing romantically with serenity in the environment)

Har raat jo aata hai mujhe …

(Twinkle and Kunj get close for a kiss)

Woh khwaab tu….

(Twinkle brings out Kunj from his dream land)

Tera mera milna dastoor hai

(Twinkle holds Kunj’s hand)

Tere hone se mujhe noor hai

(Twinkle and Kunj together run on the road like lunatic ppl)

Main hoon soona sa ek aasman

(Twinkle stretches out her hands up in the air enjoying her day)

Mehtaab tu….

(She runs to hug Kunj *friends wala* while Kunj lifts her up in the air as sun sets….)

Karam khudaya hai
Tujhe mai ne jo paaya hai
Tujh pe hi mar ke toh mujhe jeena aaya hai

O tere sang yaara
Khush rang bahara
Tu raat deewani
Mein zard sitara

(All the while it is shown the sun setting and Kunj twirling Twinkle in the air)

It was night and Kunj was driving…He drove to a dark place and stopped the car there, as I asked, “Kunj where are we?” He said, “Ssshhhhh! Just close your eyes and come with me!”
He placed his hands over my eyes and we walked where I was afraid but his touch was there to make me loose my fear. I don’t know why when he is around I have some different feeling…I don’t know what is it but I know 1 thing that I can not afford to loose him.
He finally asked me to open my eyes. And as I opened I was shocked to find the place beautifully decorated with white and red combination of roses and balloons….There was a big heart formed with red roses and over it with white roses “T & K” were formed. I was much amazed, as I turned to ask, I was surprised to find Kunj on his knees.

He said, “Twinkle you are my twinkling star, you are my day and you are my night! You are mt smile and you are my cry! Your pain is my pain and your happiness is my happiness! Maybe for you I am nothing but for me you are my world!! I love you Twinkle!!”

I just stood in shock. I did not what to say and how to react. He looked at me with tears as he stood up saying, “Don’t worry Twinkle I can understand…It is okay if you don’t like me!!” He was about to turn as I said, holding bis hand, “Buddhooo (stupid) I don’t like you…instead I love u!!”

A curve appeared on his facial jaw as he tightly pulled me in his embrace…

Sab kuch mere liye tera baad hai
Sau baaton ki ek baat hai
Main na jaoun ga labhi tujhe chod ke
