Hey all this a FS (four shots) from me. Thank you so much my dear friend JasmineRahul for this awesome suggestion. This story will have four episodes as per the name and is based on the movie Parineeta. Hope you guys like it. As it is FS Ill introduce the characters as per the flow of the story
Its the Basu Mansion all set for the wedding of Anurag and Komolika, glowing in the lights and the air filled with sounds of various musical instruments and chattering voices
Anurag Basu the groom is getting ready in his room. As he gets ready images of a girl come to his mind and her name is Prerna.
He brushes off his thoughts and walks down to meet Prerna’s maa Veena
Veena to someone nearby: My son in law Mr.Bajaj was really helpful to manage our family after Rajesh’s death
Anurag touches Veena’s feet
Anurag: Namaste aunty
Veena: Jeete raho beta..
Anurag ignores Prerna and walks off
Prerna: Arrey Anurag..dont you want my wishes? Why are you ignoring me nowadays huh?
Anurag: Aren’t you ashamed to talk like this even after your wedding ?
Anurag walks off to the band and asks them to play a song. He sings
Soona..Soona man ka aangan
Dhoondhe payal ki woh chhan chhan
Sooni..sooni man ki sargam
Dhoondhe geet tere humdum
His memories fly to the time when he first saw Prerna with Shivani. Their childhood flashes like a lightning before his eyes

Toone kaahe ko munh moda
He thinks of the beautiful days when Anurag and Prerna used to visit the library often.
One such day
Anurag and Prerna are in the library when they get locked inside
There is a heavy downpour and thunder. Once thunder is heard Prerna hugs Anurag in fright
Anurag: Prerna..its okay..just a thunder.. I dont know how you will manage without me?
Prerna: Why do I manage without you? Where are you going?
Anurag: You know right …one day I have to join dad in business
Prerna: But that doesn’t mean you leave..promise me Anurag. And you
He promises her. They have a beautiful moment

Anurag and Prerna are in the coffee shop
Prerna: Anurag you need to join office soon
Anurag: Whats the urgency Prerna?
Prerna: Its there. My family has started to talk about my marriage. Only if you join office now we can move the matters to our family. If not They will marry me to someone else
Anurag holds her closer 
Anurag: No one other than me can marry you..got it?
Prerna nods

Anurag is brought to reality when Komolika enters the hall. She walks near him and holds his hand. 
He is irked and gets back to the days when he refused to meet her
Moloy: Anurag you should meet her..such a sweet girl
Anurag: Not now papa…Im not interested in her.
Anurag in mind: How will I say that Im interested in Prerna before achieving something in the business.
Moloy: But Anurag..
Anurag Papa leave me alone please
As he sings his rain romance with Prerna run through his mind

As he finishes the song he is unable to control his tears which pour like the rain in his memories and runs to his room. The past days haunt him.

shocking that anulika are getting married.seeing how anurag talked to prerna it seems that he is not on good terms with prerna.veena said bajaj is her son in law.I hope he is not prerna’s husband.library scene …dialogues…promise scene were lovely.anurag pulling prerna closer n saying that only he can marry her was romantic .rain scene was romantic.
