The episode starts with Suh being taken to the hospital
She was taken inside the ICU. I am feeling very guilty for not rescuing her. Getting shot in the leg was dangerous and sometimes deadly. I was keeping on blaming myself ,standing outside the ICU.
Paul: Please don’t worry..She’ll be alright
Me: It’s all because of me…
Just then the doc came outside
Me: How’s she doctor?
Doc: Luckily, its not a serious wound, she has a minor fracture. U can go meet her
I rushed inside and saw Suh lying on the bed. I went to her and sat on a chair. I held her hand and kissed it. She gently opened her eyes and looked at me.
Suh(in a soft voice): Yuvraj…
Me: Are u fine? Is it painful?
Suh: I guess I’m fine..Are u okay?
I nodded
Suh: Relax now, sadu..
Me: It’s all because of me, I should’ve rescued u but I
Suh: Now, don’t blame yourself. And hey! I’m not a baby for u to come &rescue. I can look after myself
Me: Oh really? Then I’m going… Walk on your own
Suh(being adamant): Fine.. I’ll walk
She started to get up while I held her and said
Me: Don’t u dare do that!! And yeah ,Your mom had called in your phone.
Suh: U told her?
Me: I told Bhavna..
Suh: I must talk to her then
Just then Arun came inside
Arun: Suh, how are u feeling now?
Suh: I’m okay Arun
Arun: I had already warned u guys about this.. They are really dangerous
Me: Arun, they would come again for sure. And I can’t compromise with Suh’s safety. I know it’s our job but..
Suh: What’s wrong with u Yuvi? This is my duty and
Me: You’ve already sacrificed a lot for your duty. Not more
Arun: Yes Suhani, Yuvi’s right. I think u should just rest now
Suh: But I can’t do that!
Me: Now stop being adamant.
Arun: I think I should allot some of our agents for your protection at night…
Me: That’ll be good.
Suh: But..
Arun: Don’t argue Suhani! Obey your husband(he smiled at me and left)
Suh(angrily): What was the need for doing that?
Me: You’re my responsibility now, so I can’t take any chance
Suh: OK then.. U must do whatever I say
Me: Not everything u say..Don’t try to take advantage of the situation
Suh was laughing, And I just stared at her. Later, the doc came
Doc: Mrs. Birla, you can go home tomorrow morning
Suh: Thank u doctor..
He left
Me: So, Mrs. Birla have these medicines
Suh: Don’t u dare call me that sadu!
Just then a little girl came inside and smiled at Suh
She smiled back at her
Girl: I’m sorry I came inside the wrong room
Suh: Its OK..Come here
She went near Suh. Suh asked holding her hand
Suh: What’s your name?
Girl: I’m Celine.. And what’s your’s?
Suh: I’m Suhani. Why are u in this hospital?
Celine: My mom’s pregnant and she’s gonna bring me a brother
Suh: Wow! That’s so sweet..
Celine: What happened to u?
Suh: Um..I’m having a fracture
Celine: Don’t worry, you’ll be alright soon
I just looked and admired their conversation when the girl’s dad came looking for her
Guy: Celine, come on now
Celine: Bye, Suhani
She kissed Celine and she left. But Suh kept smiling
Me: Why are u smiling?
Suh: I love kids so much.. I wish I had one for myself too
Me(naughtily): If u really want to have one then..
Suh: Oh just shut up, will u? I don’t want my child to be having a long nose(she said pulling my nose)
Me: Ouch! My nose is not long
Suh: Yes it is..
Me: I’m not gonna argue with u..Now take some rest
while I bring the medicines
Next morning we reached home and I made Suh sit on the sofa
Suh: Now who’ll cook?
Me: I’ll do it
Suh: Don’t joke..U just stand by my side while I cook that’s enough
Me: No!You don’t have to do anything.. U play games on your phone while I cook
Suh: But how can u do it?
Me: I’ll manage.. U just sit here and relax
Suh: But I’ll stand near you
Me: U can’t stand.. OK lets do something
I went towards her and held her waist and lifted her
Suh: Yuvraj?
Me: Shh..
I took her to the kitchen and made her sit on the side table. She just gave me a stare.I thought of preparing a salad for lunch. I started to cut some vegetables
Suh: Don’t use this knife, use a bigger one
Me: I know..I was just trying if this one cuts too
Suh(smilingly): Just accept the fact that u don’t know to cook
Me: I know cooking. U just shut up
I continued cutting the veggies when I cut my finger
Me: Ahh!
Suh quickly held my hand and started sucking the blood while I just looked at her with gleaming eyes
Me: Are u a vampire?
Suh: I was just trying to help. Put a bandage ,while I cut the vegetables
Me: OK..
After dressing the wound I again started my work, following her instructions. She laughed and made fun of me when I made mistakes. I put the veggies in the pan and started to stir it. I wiped a bead of sweat off my forehead, while she was busy taking a selfie
Me: What the hell are u even doing?
Suh: I just took a selfie of us cooking. It looks good I’ll make this my whatsapp dp
Me: No! My family would see it too
Suh: Let them know that you are a slave to me
Me: Its just because u can’t walk, otherwise the situation would’ve been totally different
Suh: You know, Avi cooks very well
Me: And still u are taking the help of a person who doesn’t know cooking.. Call and ask him to come and cook for us now(I said in a harsh tone)
Suh: Stop being jealous! You both are my friends
Me: OK let’s not talk about him now..
Just then the door bell rang. It was Paul’s 9year old daughter
Girl: Hello, I’m Rhea. I came here to give u apple pie
Her mom came along too
Me: Please come in..
They came in and went to Suh who was still sitting on the side table
Suh: Hi, Rachel(rhea’s mom)
Rachel: How are u feeling now?
Suh: Much better..Yuvraj, help me sit on the sofa
I was surely her slave now. I went and lifted her and made her sit on the sofa and I went back to the kitchen to see whether the salad was ready
Rachel: Its good to see u both having this wonderful bond
Suh: Yeah..He helps me a lot
They talked for a long time and I invited them for lunch but they denied and went back home
Suh started eating
Suh: I must tell u, this tastes so good..Yummy!
Me: Thank u mam!
Suh: But I’m not able to lift my hand properly.. Its hurting
I saw her struggling to eat so I took the spoon from her and I fed her
Suh: You also eat..(she said feeding me)
We were indeed having great time with each other.
I really liked when she was around, teasing me.
It was night and I took her to my room which left her confused
Suh: Where are u taking me Yuvi? My room is on the other side.. Have u forgotten?
Me: I know its my room..But I want to ensure u are safe so it would be better if you’re near me
Suh: Oh come on!! I’m not a kid I..
I kept my finger on her lips
Me: Now stop talking and sleep
Suh sighed . I took her medicines and a glass of water, as she gulped down the pill I made her drink water. She suddenly started coughing. I patted on her back and then she looked straight into my eyes and asked
Suh: Why do u care for me so much?
I was never expecting her to ask such a thing. But actually I do ask the same question to myself “Why do I care for her so much?” Now I had to answer that one..
Me: Uh…Maybe its because u are my best friend
She gave me a slight smile and leaned her head on my chest. I caressed her head gently with my hands.
