Precap: Anish caught Shravan’s lie about blood donation before Suman, she gets angry and rebukes Shravan.
Suman and Kanchan are walking on school corridor.
Suman: And Kancha I can’t believe I thought that he is genuinely trying to say sorry. I can’t believe anything he will say from now on. He is full of lie from top to bottom.
Kanchan: Even I can’t believe that Shravan could stoop to this level. Faking that he is donating blood? Why would he even lie about this?
Suman: Everything he does is only for showing off, and whatever he does to show off, it’s all a lie. I knew from day 1 that he is a fraud. I can’t believe that I fall for his lies myself.
Kanchan: Let it go. Why are we ruining our mood by talking about him?
Suman notices Shravan a little far from them, he is talking with someone on phone. She looks at him angrily. Kanchan too notices him following Suman’s gaze.
Suman: You are right Kancha, we don’t need to talk about someone like him. He doesn’t matter at all.
Suman gets up from there. Shravan is talking with Bunty on his phone.
Bunty: Mia, now? How are you going to pacify Suman now?
Shravan: Bunty, now there is a more important thing to do then that.
Bunty: You mean that “Plan Suman’s forgiveness” is cancel?
Shravan: No yaar. I’ll pacify Sumo at any cost. But right now, I have to do another thing.
Bunty: And what is that?
Shravan: The thing I should have done long back. I need to show these army-kids what Shravan Malhotra is, they did very wrong by messing with me. Now it’s their pay back time.
Bunty: Now it seems my friend Shravan is talking. I thought you had forgotten all about them.
Shravan: Shravan doesn’t forget anything. I’ll take revenge of every insult they did.
Bunty: So, what do I have to?
Shravan: For now make arrangements for a simple party at our hangout for tonight.
Bunty: Party? That’s fine. We will start with celebrating their would be defeat.
Shravan: No duffer, party means arrangements of food for some people. We will make a plan of action tonight.
Bunty: That’s fine too.
Shravan cuts the call. When he turns, he sees Kanchan standing behind him. He gets confused of what to say.
Kanchan: You know, when yesterday you were serving food at the canteen, I seriously thought you are trying to reform. But no, you lied again. You can’t say anything except for lying right?
Shravan: Kanchan please listen to me. Your sister isn’t listening anyways. I only wanted to say sorry to her. That’s why I did all that.
Kanchan: Like seriously? You were saying sorry by lying? Shravan why were you saying sorry in the first place? Cause you lied, and when you were saying sorry for that you again lied.
Shravan: My intention was not that.
Kanchan: Then what was your intention. Why were you faking that you donated blood.
Shravan stays quite.
Kanchan: Shravan, if you really are sorry, and want to reform then you better start saying truth. If you want to apologise then you should apologise saying the truth.
Shravan starts thinking. Kanchan was about to leave but Shravan stops her.
Shravan: Kanchan.
Kanchan: What?
Shravan: Well, Suman and my blood group is same, so we had to went to same room for donating blood, I thought it was a good opportunity for me to say sorry. I didn’t want to lose any opportunity at all.
Kanchan: Then why did you fake it?
Shravan: Well…
Kanchan: To show off?
Shravan: NO. It’s just… I’m afraid of needles.
Kanchan: What!
Kanchan looks at Shravan, he tries to hide eye contact and feels really embarrassed. Kanchan starts laughing and about to leave but Shravan again stops him.
Shravan: Kanchan, at least you forgave me, right?
Kanchan: You need Suman’s forgiveness not mine. And next time, don’t lie.
Kanchan leaves. Shravan gets lost in thoughts.
Shravan: Kanchan is right. All this problem have happened because of all my lies. That Anish insulted me like that cause I lied. Cause somewhere even I am at fault. It’s my mistake, I gave them chance. But not anymore. Now whatever Shravan Malhotra will do, he won’t lie.
Sahib takes food from canteen and takes a sit. When he takes patties in his hand, he finds a chit on his tray. He picks it up and reads it. Ved ( Shravan’s friend) is with his parents, he is writing down their name on register after donating blood. After he is done, the peon by his side passes him a chit, he gets surprised seeing it. Ambuj (Shravan’s friend )is in librabry, he takes a book and issues it from the librarian. He opens the book and finds a chit there. Mayank ( Sharavan’s friend ) is walking in the corridor, he puts his hand on his pocket. He gets a bit surprised and brings out his hand, he sees a chit. One by one, all Shravan’s friends gets a chit from all the weird places. Shravan is looking at school, sitting on his bike, Bhopali comes there.
Bhopali: Your work is done. But will they really get those chit?
Shravan: I know my friends well, and their habbit too. They will all get those chit, it’s important for what I want to do.
Night
Shravan’s friends all are gathered at Shravan’s hangout. They all get surprised seeing each other there.
Sahib: Did you all get a chit like this?
Everyone shows their chit to other and gets even more surprised.
Ved: But who would call us here like this?
Shravan: I called you all.
Hearing him, now everyone notices him. They gets a bit surprised but then turns to leave. Shravan runs and stands before them.
Shravan: No stop, at least listen to what I have to say.
Ambuj: Why should we listen to you? Because of you our life is now even worst at school. Now grade1 tortures us more then ever.
Bunty: Cause we have arranged food for you. After coming this far, you definetely don’t want to go back hungry and waste all these foods.
Bunty presents a plate before Sahib. Sahib takes the plate.
Sahib: Guys lets stay, I’m feeling hungry. And the food looks yummy, we will leave right when the food finishes.
Shravan: Please guys, at least stay till you finish the food and hear me out till then. Everyone deserve at least one chance.
Everyone looks at each other, then takes the plates and sits down, they all look at Shravan.
Ved: Now tell, why did you call us here Shravan?
Shravan: To apologise.
Everyone looks on.
Shravan: Whatever mistake I did, you all are also paying for that now, everyone is judging you all too. I’m really sorry for everything. I never intended for all this to happen. I shouldn’t have lied. Can you all forgive me.
Sahib: That doesn’t matter Shravan, our life at school is already ruined, we just have to pass the year somehow.
Shravan: But you all are my friend and I did mistake, I let you all down, and I’m asking forgiveness from you all for this. Can you all forgive me.
Ved: Why did you lie Shravan in the first place?
Shravan: Cause I’m like that, all my life I’ve lied around, fooling around, to show off. But can you all tell me why those army-gang exposed me and insulted me like that?
Sahib: Cause you lied.
Everyone laughs hearing him. Shravan again starts talking after the laugh stops.
Shravan: Yes, that’s a reason, I lied, that’s why they exposed and insulted me. But why me? Am I the only person in the school who lies, who falsely shows off. Tell me the truth, have any of you never said any lie in your entire life, have any of you never tried to show off? I’m not saying I’m innocent, yes I lied to show off, and I lied a lot. But I’m not the only person who lies. You all also have lied at some point of your life, whether it was a matter of your relationship, or your mark in exam, or going out to party saying there was extra class. And it’s not only us who lies, there is definitely a lot of people among those army-kids who lies. Even Anish lies, he acted as a good friend around me all the time so I accept his invitation to the party. But it was all a lie. Yet I was the only one who got insulted before everyone. Why?
Everyone: Why?
Shravan: Cause they can’t tolerate us. All these past years, their so called grade system has been going smoothly. But after I came, we all gathered together, we proved that unity is strength. For the first time our school is going to take part in cultural fest led by a civilian team. And then in the buddy system they got paired up with us. They can’t see us rising up and walk by their side. That’s why they wanted to push us back and defeat us. And they targeted me, cause I was the one who started all this, they thought if they put me out of the picture then all of us will get separate, we will lose our unity and wouldn’t able to stand up again to face them. They targeted me cause I was the weak link of you all, everything was my mistake, I gave them a chance and they took full use of it. I’m sorry.
Everyone stays silent for sometime.
Shravan: Now you all tell me, what do you want to do? Do you all want to hide your face and tolerate all their tantrum because of my mistake? Or do you want to get back and give them an answer right on their face. Do you want to finish your last year in school in shame? Or do you want to get back and place your name on school’s history that civilians of this batch is no less then army kids? Do you want to prove that their grade system is wrong?
Sahib: But Shravan, how are we supposed to do anything? If we even try to say anything, they will make us shut by..
Shravan: By giving my example. I know. I did a grave mistake. But even after that I’m here, I’m here to accept my mistake, I’m here to say sorry for my mistake. I’m here to learn from my mistake, to reform. I’m here to fight, to fight for us, civilians, and our rights. I’m here to give those army-kids answer right on their face, I’m here to sort things out, who is with me? Who is going to stay by my side.
Shravan gets excited by his long speech. He looks at everyone. Sahib stands up.
Sahib: I’ll be with you. My life at school is already ruined, I’ve nothing to loose now.
One by one everyone stands up and says they are with Shravan. Shravan and Bunty smiles, Shravan asks for water for someone close to him and drinks. Everyone sits down again.
Bunty: But mia, I still didn’t get it, what is it you are going to do?
Shravan: I have a plan.
Ved: But Shravan, if what had happened on Anish’s party, if that happens again?
Shravan: I’m taking guaranty for that. I’ve learned from my past mistakes. All those lies, Devika, everything was my mistake. I’ll not lie anymore, nor make any girl my girlfriend from grade1. Until this partiality ends, I’m not going to give them any chance to break us through me.
Everyone cheers. Bunty gets tensed hearing this. After they all leaves Bunty comes to him and gives him a look.
Shravan: Why are you looking at me like this?
Bunty: What was this? You promised them that you won’t make any grade1 girl your girlfriend, then what about Suman? Are you planing to forget her?
Shravan: If I forget Sumo then I’ll forget how to breath. I’ll win Sumo’s heart for sure.
Bunty: What? That means you lied to them? You started very fast.
Shravan: I didn’t lied to them. I said I won’t make any grade1 girl my girlfriend until this problem ends. I didn’t said I won’t feel anything for any grade1 girl.
Bunty: Then what are you going to do?
Shravan: Now I’ve to pacify Sumo first, it’s going to take time. Making her my girlfriend is a very long way. Untill that time comes I’ll destroy the entire grade system from this school.
