Durga (Colors TV) 5th December 2024 Written Episode Update: Anurag stands up to Panibai

Anurag visits Durga, who is surprised to see him. She asks why he is there, and Anurag replies that he came to check on her and see what arrangements his family has made for her. Durga expresses gratitude, saying having a roof over her head in this unfamiliar city is a big thing. She admits that if she hadn’t spoken up the previous day, she might not have had this opportunity, though it came at the cost of going against Vikram.

Anurag reassures her, saying she’s not the only one who opposed his father. Durga urges him not to defy Vikram for her sake, but Anurag explains that his view of Vikram has changed after learning the truth. He informs her that he is leaving for Jodhpur for his exam and advises her to be cautious, avoid going out alone, and rely on Anubhav if needed. Durga makes a light remark in response.

Anurag then hands her an envelope with money, asking her to keep it for any emergencies. Just as Durga is about to take it, Panibai arrives and questions Anurag about what he is giving to Durga. Anurag asks why Panibai is there. Panibai says she had been searching for him all morning and guessed she would find him with Durga. She comments sarcastically on the situation, and Anurag retorts sharply.

Meanwhile, Vikram meets with Dr. Vikas, the principal of the medical college. Vikram brings up a recent ragging incident that resulted in a student’s death. Dr. Vikas confirms it, stating the police arrested seven people and the victim’s family received compensation. Vikram mentions hearing about an investigation against Dr. Vikas and offers to handle it.

In return, Vikram asks Dr. Vikas to ensure Durga doesn’t get a seat in the college. He tells Dr. Vikas that Durga manipulated someone into killing her husband and that while the villagers wanted her to stay back, she moved to Delhi to pursue medical studies. Dr. Vikas agrees to help and promises to keep this secret from Anurag, who will soon work at the college as a resident doctor.

Back at the house, Panibai questions Anurag again about the envelope. Anurag explains that it contains money for Durga. Panibai demands that Durga return it, but Anurag refuses. He challenges Panibai, asking why she doesn’t return all the property gifted to her by his grandfather.

Offended, Panibai accuses Anurag of comparing her to Durga. Anurag boldly says yes and continues to argue. Durga intervenes, urging Anurag to let the matter go and focus on his exam. Reluctantly, Anurag agrees and leaves.

After he’s gone, Panibai warns Durga that if she wants to stay in the house, she must be on good terms with everyone. She also informs Durga that Vikram has started searching for a bride for Anurag, making a pointed remark about Durga’s position in the house.
