The Rathore family gathers in their new home to perform a pooja. Vikram brings Anurag inside and tells him that after completing his exams, he will work at one of the best hospitals in Delhi. Madhav supports Anurag as he enters the house, and Aarthi, seeing him safe, feels relieved.
Panibai sarcastically comments on Aarthi crying upon Anurag’s return. Aarthi retorts that Panibai wouldn’t understand a mother’s emotions. Panibai counters, saying Aarthi wouldn’t understand her situation either. Their argument escalates until Vikram intervenes, asking them to stop arguing over minor issues. Aarthi defends herself, claiming she’s only responding to Panibai’s remarks.
After the pooja, the pandit asks the family to distribute prashad. Panibai remarks that this isn’t Kinsar, where servants handled everything. She volunteers to distribute the prashad, but Aarthi insists on doing it herself, wanting to feed Anurag first. Vikram reminds Aarthi that Anurag isn’t just her son, as Panibai also has a claim over him. Feeling hurt, Aarthi accuses Vikram of treating her differently because she is the daughter-in-law of the family.
Indira and Bhavya make side comments about the tension. Aarthi confronts Vikram, questioning why Panibai was allowed to visit the hospital if she’s not part of the family. She demands to know Panibai’s true connection to their household. Panibai challenges Aarthi to speak openly about her doubts and then turns to Savitri, asking if she should reveal the truth. Hesitant, Savitri admits that one of the sons in the family is Panibai’s child.
Meanwhile, at Durga’s house, her school teacher arrives with great news: Durga has passed the medical entrance exam and can now pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. However, Rajesh’s aunt and Chandini oppose her plans, arguing that she should work to support the family since Rajesh is no longer alive. Durga defends herself and tries to leave with her teacher, but Rajesh’s aunt and Chandini block her at the door. Chandini gathers neighborhood women to back them up while Durga continues to fight for her right to leave.
Back at the Rathore house, Panibai finally reveals the truth. She shares that, while Savitri’s husband never officially married her, their relationship was deeper than marriage. She then declares that Madhav is her son, born from that bond.
Madhav, stunned, confronts Savitri for the truth. Tearfully, Savitri admits it and explains that she raised him as her own to avoid any differentiation between him and the other sons. Madhav becomes emotional, processing the revelation.
At Durga’s house, the neighborhood women arrive, siding with Rajesh’s aunt and Chandini, who accuse Durga of being disrespectful for wanting to study during the mourning period. Durga boldly defends herself, stating that her dream of becoming a doctor is for their benefit, so she can support them in the future. When she challenges the women, they hesitate but ultimately allow her to leave with her teacher.
