Scene 1
Bai looks around the palace and says everyone knows what my relationship is with Bauji but everyone turns a blind eye. Savitri keeps insulting me, she went to do pooja with Bauji, I have made sure they are safe but its unfair to me. I am going to raise my voice against this injustice one day.
Bauji distributes clothes in villagers. His son tells them that he has to win the elections so he can serve them. He says Rajesh is my assistant so you can complain to him about anything. A man says Rajesh doesn’t listen to them. Rajesh arrives there and asks if they are complaining about him? All are scared of him so they all remain silent.
Rajesh tells Anurag’s father Vikram to keep an eye on Durga, she is having too much influence on Anurag.
Savitri does aarti of all her DILs in the palace and they take her blessings. Bai is sitting in a corner. Savitri says if you were married then I would have done your aarti too. Bai says if I was married then you wouldn’t have been anymore. Savitri says what do you mean? Bai says I saved your husband’s life so if I was married then I wouldn’t be able to save your husband. When Vikram shot Durga’s father, the villagers attacked this palace but I protected you all. The flashback shows years ago, the villagers trying to burn down the palace after Durga’s father got shot but Bai calmed then down and took ownership of raising Durga.
Durga tells Anurag that she is tired so he gives her a piggyback ride and says we have to collect diyas. He says lets have a completion.
Scene 2
Indira gets ready for the pooja. Others tease her. Bai blesses them and tells them to go for the pooja.
Rajwar’s DILs arrive at the river bank to do pooja. They put their diyas in the river and pray. Anurag and Durga arrive there. They jump in the river to collect diyas.,
15 years later, Anurag and Durga come out of the river with diyas in their hands. They both smile at each other.
In the palace, Bai tells Anurag’s mother to prepare food for Anurag. Indira comes there and scolds her for not arranging her clothes. She apologies to her.
In the college, the result is out. Anurag calls the teacher and asks about Durga’s results. She says Durga topped in the school, she made us all proud. Anurag is happy hearing that.
In the palace, Durga tells everyone that she is going to the college to find out about her results. Bai says you are a villager so stop dreaming about education, you will get married soon. Indira says she will be married soon so don’t worry. Durga says I don’t need to get married early. Bai says you can’t compare yourself to the palace people. You should know your status and limits. She thinks she is going to use Durga to take her revenge. Durga says elders can be wrong too. Bai gets angry so Anurag’s mother takes her away. She tells her to not argue with Bai. Durga says Vikram allowed me to study so why Bai keeps taunting me?
Bai taunts other DILs for not helping Anurag’s mother in cooking. She asks where is Munna? a servant says he went to the market as Savitri asked him to. Bai asks Savitri why did you send him away before asking me? Savitri says I didn’t need to ask you. Bai says don’t break my rules here, your sons listen to my rules. Savitri says I am a queen of here. Bai says I rule here, we are all united because of me. Munna arrives there so Bai scolds him for not listening to her orders. Durga feels bad for Savitri and thinks to make a change one day
