Scene 1
Charu recalls what Guru ji said. She says I will have to do the pooja but how do I get that red saree. She says should I replace Durga’s saree? I can’t do anything else. Durga is asleep in the room. Charu comes there and takes the saree. Charu does pooja early in the morning wearing that saree. She applies sindur and recalls her marriage with Anirban. She says I have to put it there before Durga wakes up. Dadi asks Rashi to wake up Durga. Rashi goes to her room. Charu does all the rituals and prays for Anirban. Rashi comes towards her. Charu says I hope no one knows I am doing this pooja. I can’t let anything happen to Anirban. Durga loves him a lot. Rashi comes towards the terrace. Charu sees her, she hies.

Charu rushes to Durga’s room to keep the saree

back. Durga is in washroom. She comes out. Durga says I was looking for this saree. Why did you take it? Charu says to press it. It wasn’t pressed. Durga says oh okay. Durga says was there sindur in Charu’s hairline? Dadi says Durga hurry up. Durga says it might be a misunderstanding.

Scene 2
Durga starts the pooja. Anirban looks at her. Charu sees her doing the tap. Dadi gives her blessings. She says you did very well. You have to do a the most difficult part. Durga says I can do anything for Anirban. Dadi says you have to stand on one foot till evening and do arti. Durga comes to the terrace and stands on one leg. Charu stands on one leg as well. Durga says Charu you here? Charu says I will also do this tap. Durga says but I am doing this for Anirban. Charu says I will do it for your strength. They both stand on one leg till sunset.

Anirban gets album of the wedding. He leaves it on the table. Anirban sees a photo in it. He sees Charu’s face in the bridal dress while he’s filling her hairline. Anirban is shocked. The album falls from his hands. He says what? I filled Charu’s hairline? You were there in the ghungat? I didn’t marry Durga? I married Charu? He’s shocked. He says but I married Durga. He looks at the photo. Anirban runs downstairs. He comes to the terrace and sees Durga and Charu both doing the tap. He recalls the wedding. He recalls Charu being everywhere he was saved. He says this means Charu is my wife? My protector. My wife? Anirban asks Charu why were you ding this tap? She says for Durga. He says only my wife can do it. Charu says Durga is your wife. I was there to give her strength. Anirban says like you came here for Durga and stay near us for Durga? She says yes. Anirban says stop lying. I have a proof. He shows her the photo. Charu is shocked.
