Scene 1
Bholi looks for a clue in Durga’s room. She sees a wire three. Bholi says this is where I got a current from. Charu must have taught her these things. Binoy says we have devi with us after so long. She will do the pooja today. Bholi says everyone would be here and the goons would kidnap Durga. Durga says to Charu we will pray together. This accusation against you would be removed. Charu hugs her. Charu tells her a plan.
Bholi says to Sumona I will handle all the preparation. Don’t worry. Durga says to Charu thank God makes maa asked you to do the pooja, Chumki. Kaali maa punishes all the sinners today. Charu says the sinners must be scared. Durga says thank God I am not doing pooja. What if Kaali maa makes me a rat. Chumki is scared.
Scene 2
The goons plan to kidnap Durga. They take the medicine to faint her. The pooja starts. Binoy gives arti to Chumki. She says I want Durga to do the pooja like every year. Binoy says our devi is so nice. Durga and Charu do the pooja together. The goons come in and say we have to kidnap the girl who’s not doing pooja as per bholi. They plan to kidnap Chumki. Lights go off and the goons kidnap Chumki. Bholi looks around. She’s worried. Polash follows her. Bholi sends the goons out. Polash comes there. He says you can’t fool me Bholi ji. We can be a team. Bholi tells him all the things that he steals from the house. She says we are both the same. He says if we shake hands we can divide the benefits in half.
Binoy says look around, where is Chumki. Someone throws in a letter. polash picks and reads it. He says someone has kidnapped Chumki. They are asking for ransom. Bholi pretends to faint. Charu thinks to go with them. Durga comes to the goons. They see Chumki detained. Durga is scared. Polash says nothing will happen. she takes the money to them. They kidnap Durga as well. They hit polash. Durga screams. She says please odn’t leave me here. polash says I have helpless. Don’t worry let me drop Chumki come, I will come and take you as well. don’t be scared. He leaves. Someone hits polash on hed. He faints. It’s Charu.
