Scene 1
The women lock Charu and Jhumki. Jhumki cries. She says do something Charu, please. Charu sees a freedom rally outside. She says our country is free, why should we be slaves? She says Jhumki do what I say. She picks things from there. The man comes in and says get ready. They throw the singer in his face and run. The men try to catch them but they run outside. Saki catches them.
Durga says my sister is also missing. Dadu says I’ve never seen her talking to a stranger. He says she needs friends of her age. Durga says don’t worry. I pray for my sister every day. I have faith. I will find her soon. We will pray for your sister too. They pray together. Durga shows her doll to her. They talk and laugh. The doctor says she’s dependent on you. Let her be self-dependent.

Scene 2
Charu and Jhumki sit on the train and come to a new city. It’s Calcutta. Charu tries to read it. Jhumki says where will we live? Charu says much better than Jhumki’s place. Don’t worry about it. We’ve to look forward only. It starts raining.
Polash asks were you scared of flight? Was it expensive? Somana says we have a lot of money to waste. Dadu says the doctor has told her treatment. She has to make new friends. Durga goes out. It’s raining. She feels happy. She sees kids playing. She says to stop the car here. I am coming. She goes out in rain. The kids say throw our football. She throws it. Durga likes mud on her hands. They ask her to kick it. Durga kicks it. She slips and falls. The kids laugh. Their leader made her fall. It’s the same guy from school. he says we have a way to teach her a lesson today. Durga stands up. He says she’s the star goal keeper. Show your talent. She says I have to go. They throw the ball toward her. Durga is scared. Charu and Jhumki come there. Jhumki says I am tired and hungry. The kids are bullying Durga. She’s scared. He throws a ball at her and Charu catches it.
