Dream scenes of Kriyam part 24
Sayyam and Abir started to tell the flashback…
Sayyam was shifted to new orphanage when he was 12 yr old… Everyone was new to him.. Abir was a leader among the boys…He is very good at his heart…He will do anything for his friends…but his friends were just using him for their benefits… but Abir was unaware of this… nobody dare to question his friends because of Abir…
Sayyam was silent first but… there is limit for everything… so he dared to question them… Eventually that leads to a fight… Sayyam got so many support from other children in the orphanage… they needed such a friend… Abir’s friends were not at all happy with this… They were fuming inside because their image got spoiled due to Sayyam… they started to fuel Abir… against Sayyam…
One fine morning.. everyone waiting in queue for breakfast… But Abir’s friends came and they try to create problems… Sayyam came in between…and they get into a fight… Abir was taken to watch all these..He tried to part them apart…but by mistake Sayyam hits Abir..
Everyone move back.. suddenly it become a boxing ring… Sayyam was not used to this all.. so he get beaten up really bad… At last he fell down with bleeding face… Abir was looked at Sayyam with rage… all started to cheer for Abir.. “Abir…. Abir… Abir….”
Sayyam tries to stand up but… falls down.. he looked up to see a smiling face of a young boy… beaming with innocence… he signs him to stand up and fight back…Not for him..but those people who have trusted him.. that he will make a difference… Sayyam stands up…with determination… Abir was waving to the crowd…He felt a hand on his shoulder..He turns..And received a huge beat on his face… Abir shaken up due to the surprise attack… Sayyam didn’t stop…He keep on beat him..As he was half conscious… Finally Abir was fell like an uprooted tree… Sayyam walking abruptly… feeling weak… But everyone hold him take him…for aid… Abir was also taken..By his friends…
Sayyam was felt better after two days… in these two days he was searching for that boy… Suddenly he found him… he walks toward him.. patted on his shoulder… he turns… after seeing him..He spread a wide smile on his face…
Sayyam : naam kya hai tumhara…?
Reply was a faint smile…then he looks down…
Sayyam : why don’t you say anything…?
But he didn’t reply…Tries to say something but stops… spotting someone behind him.. Sayyam turns to see Abir…
Abir : tum yahaan kya kar raha tha… chotte…? Come… It’s time for your medicine..
He was stand up and walks with Abir…But turns to Sayyam…while walking…with a faint smile…
Sayyam was wondering… Then he felt a hand on his shoulder… it was their cook..
Kaka : wo uska Bhai…Hai.. uska naam chotte..Hai.. Abir ne use yeh naam diya… tha..Jab use pehli baar yahaan laya tha..
Sayyam was surprised to know the other side of Abir..
Sayyam : use koi beemari hai kya.. Abir was saying about his medicine..
Kaka : haan… he was a premature baby..We found him on road side abandoned by his mother….
Sayyam felt a heart wrenching pain….
Kaka : Wo bol nahi saktha… Or asthma bhi hai… Abir was taking care of him..as his own brother…
Sayyam get ready to bed…He was going lay down but found chotte..on your bed side.. with his usual smile.. Sayyam made him sit beside him..
Sayyam : hmm… Abir is your brother..Then why did you encourage me to fight..
His smile faded…He take out paper from his pocket give to Sayyam.. Sayyam reads it and understands… he patted on his shoulder… just then the kaka came to Sayyam..
Kaka : Sayyam..Warden bula rahi hai… tumhe..
Sayyam about to go but..Turns to chotte…
Sayyam : I will be back…You just wait here wanna talk to you… ok..
He nods his head..sit on the bed..
After while.. there is some footsteps and shadows..of 2-3 people… they come near Sayyam’s bed..They can see he is sleeping peacefully.. in the bed.. they pasted plaster on his mouth..Hold his hands and legs
..He was struggling..but they managed to put him in sack…They dragged the sack to some place..
Warden’s room
Sayyam : but sir..I didn’t do anything..
Warden : wahaan bhi.. jhagada… yahaan aakar bhi..Tum..
Sayyam : they started the fight…
Warden : Abir ko nazar andhaas karthe karthe wo bhi.. haat see nikal raha hai.. Tum donom ke liye punishment hai.. poore bathrooms clean karna hai.. Abir ko bhi bulao..
Suddenly they heard a scream…. They all rushed to see…What happened.. there Abir and his friends were standing frightened.. Abir was hugging someone..He looks like in a shock … Sayyam peeps to see who..and utter shocked.. to see chotte..lying there lifelessly…on Abir’s lap..
Sayyam shooks Abir… but jerked off his hands and runs from there…
Sayyam came back from flashback… he turns to everyone..
Sayyam : uss din ke baad.. Abir ko mein aaj dekh raha hum.. Krishna hold him.. Yuvraj patted on his shoulder…
Yuvraj : we will talk to him… It’s just a misunderstanding…
Abir’s cabin
Abir…saying about that day… to Yuvani..
That day was the worst day of my life… My friends.. They wanted to take revenge on Sayyam..So they take him to me.. in a sack…. They kicked him so much.. in front of me.. I told them stop.. I noticed the hand..It has the same mouli on chotte’s hand.. I felt a cold chill through my spine …After open the sack..I was shattered…My doubt was right.. It was chotte…
I took him in my hands..Take out the plaster…From his mouth.. he breathed…heavily. Pop 6His pupils was bulging due to suffocating… inside the sack… he clutches on my shirt..scratched on my chest…He was trying hard to take a breath…but couldn’t…His chest was moving upwards…then falls down lifelessly… I was… screamed…
Abir : I don’t know what to do …Where to go… I was running… aimlessly.. endlessly..
Wo pal pal Mar raha tha mere samne…Or mein ne kuch nahi kiya…
Suddenly a flash of light…I couldn’t see anything.. then I was flying in air… when I got conscious..I was in hospital getting treated… I was hit by a doctor’s car..So he took me into hospital… unka naam Mr. Amardeep Singhaniya.. he gave me shelter,food and job after hearing my story… when he found out that I’m interested in medical..He did everything…and I got MBBS…In a reputed college with scholarship… then I joined him in his hospital..Doing MD parallel.. he was considered me as his son.But i wasn’t that lucky…. I lost him…a sudden heart attack…make everything upside down in my life… after his death.. I understood he was also going through so many hardships… even though he has everything…
After some days his family came back..to our home.. Eventually I was out from house as well as from hospital…
But I didn’t stop… Completed my MD with my friend’s and scholarship help… whenever I lose my hope..I remember my chotte.. if I know how to give CPR… then shayad… shayad..Mein usse bacha saktha tha.lekin.. Abir sighs and wipes his tears…
Abir : this is my second posting…
Yuvani wipes her tears quickly before he turns…Made a plastic smile on her face…
Yuvani : hmm…So what are going to do…?? You know what…You didn’t forgive yourself.. Then how would you forgave Sayyam… Right..?
Abir looked at Yuvani with wide eyes…
Abir : how did you know…
Yuvani smiles to his surprise…
Yuvani : I’m really sorry for your chotte… but otherwise just think about…If you’re not runaway from orphanage then you will be still in that orphanage or may be in a boxing ring…Maar khatha hoga..But look at yourself…You became a well known doctor..
Abir looked at her being awestruck… Then a smile crept on his face..
Abir : mujhe aaj tak kisi ne..Bhi.. ithna aasani se console nahi kiya… jaise tumne kiye..
Yuvani smiled adorably…
Yuvani : so what you gonna do with Krishna..
Abir : I will just come…
Yuvani headed back to room…
Suhani : haan..Hum baat karenge.. Abir se..
Sayyam : I don’t understand..Aaj yeh yahaan.. he won’t forgave me easily..
Yuvani : wo yahaan kaise mein bathathi hum..
Yuvani told everyone about Abir… everyone sighs..Then Abir enters with a guilt face..
Abir : I’m sorry… for everything… you can take her home today…
He turns to go…
Suhani : Abir…I know..Your state of mind… humari galti ki sazza.. kisi or ko bukthna padtha hai.. it will haunt you whole life..
Sayyam glances at Suhani…
Suhani : meri ek galti ki wajah se Sayyam…
Sayyam : Maa… Please…I don’t want to talk about this…
Suhani exhales…
Abir turns to go…looked at Yuvani…
Abir : thank you Yuvani…
Yuvani smiled back…
