Scene 1
Doree looks at Ganga. Kailashi says the one who gave you life, won’t you give him peace? Your dad was born in Banaras, and died here. Give him peace. This is life. You’ve got to do his funeral. We know your love for him is more than anyone. She gives fire to Doree. Doree recalls her moments with Ganga. Kailashi says I know it’s not easy for you. Let me help you. Doree says no. Kailashi pushes her hand to burn it. She puts the fire in the woods. Doree cries. Ganga’s body is on fire. The inspector comes there. Kailashi says no one can break my rule now. All proofs against me are burned. She looks at the inspector. Doree cries looking at Ganga. Ganga says promise me you will never leave me.
Doree cries and says you can’t leave me baba. You told me you would never leave me. Please come back. She cries. Doree faints. Mai is at the temple. She says the weather is bad. The woman says we have to stay around for a while. Mai says if someone sees me it would create problems for him.
Scene 2
Nani cries. The villagers decide they will cook food for her. Everyone is upset. Mansi is upset. Sudha says eat something. Doree must be going through a lot. I can’t breathe. She must be shattered. I can’t eat. Sudha says please eat something. Mansi says I can’t.
Doree cries remembering Ganga. She says baba how can you leave me alone like this? You broke your promise. I know you’d never leave me alone. She looks outside. It’s raining. His friend comes and gives the Ganga’s clothes to Doree. He says to keep them safe. Doree hugs them and cries. She recalls how Ganga used to take care of her. Doree wears his shirt and falls asleep.
Scene 3
Kailashi says Ganga’s body must be burned. The inspector comes in and says I had to ask you a few questions. Where were you at the time of Ganga’s death? I found some tire marks. I have doubts something happened to Ganga. Kailashi says am I the only one with a car here? She says you’re the only one who fought with Ganga. Kailash says he had no worth fighting with me. Please don’t mess with me and my family.
Kailashi sees a bracelet in Ganga’s shirt. She says did baba get this for me? It’s so big. She wears it. Kailashi says come when you find a proof. Anand hears it. He says I hope I didn’t leave any proof. Kailashi says all proofs are burned. The inspector says I will get Ganga justice.
