Rukmani insists that Bhola sleep on the floor without thinking about food. She tells him that her family doesn’t know he’s there and warns him not to leave the room. Bhola, who can barely stand, wonders how he could leave anyway. Rukmani complains about his talking too much, then leaves and shuts the door. Later, Bhola wants to be near Ganga Prasad and sees that he has a high fever. He watches as Ganga prays, offering to take on his pain, and decides to stay with him. He takes care of Ganga all night with neem leaves and a wet cloth on his forehead. The next day, Ganga miraculously feels better, his chicken pox gone, and he notices the care items nearby, suspecting someone looked after him.
When Bhola goes back to his room, he wants to rest but sees chicken pox on his body. He assumes Ganga is getting better and prays for him, even though he feels sick himself. Mansi has a dream where she shivers and feels a connection to Doree’s pain but doesn’t know how to help. She thinks about fasting for Doree’s recovery, believing in the power of prayer but feeling helpless in the end. Later, Rukmani notices Bhola’s illness and blames it on her son Vansh’s evil eye. She refuses to give him medicine, saying he should endure the pain for Vansh’s sake.
Bhola, worried that Rukmani might catch chicken pox, tells her to stay away. Anand, thinking about his past wrongs, sees the suffering of the basti people and offers them food to make up for it, although Nani doubts his sincerity. Anand asks for forgiveness, but Nani doesn’t trust him, refusing any idea of making up. Rukmani wants to protect Vansh from evil eyes and tells Bhola to put red powder on him, even though Bhola protests about the pain. She reminds him of his promise to obey her, threatening to kick him out if he refuses. Bhola, wanting to stay near Ganga Prasad, reluctantly agrees and puts on the powder, then hides in the room as instructed. Doree thinks if Baba would be here, we would have taken so much care of me.
Precap: Ganga Prasad asks doctor that why isn’t Bhola gaining conscious is he fine. Doctor says to him that they have done everything they could and asks him to pray for Bhola. Ganga Prasad prays for Bhola’s well being.
