Scene 1:
Location: Ishaan’s residence
While urmi is asleep, ishaan takes her hand and apologises to her profusely, that since she has been here, she has faced nothing but troubles, despite what he promised her, a life full of happiness and bliss, and how helpless he feels. he says that he shall solve everything. he asks her not to worry as they can face any problem together. he caresses her face lovingly, while she flinches in sleep. He drapes the covers on her. she is disturbed in her sleep, by her earing bothering her. He takes her hand aside deftly, and takes the earring off, and she sleeps peacefully. he smiles and watches to see her sleep, lovingly and affectionately.

The next morning, urmi wakes up with a bad hangover and a worse headache. Her wincing wakes up ishaan, who fell asleep on the sofa, watching her sleep. he gives her water. she asks what happened last night. He asks her not to bother, and rest. But she insists, and he tells her everything. She is shocked and apalled, and ashamed and embarassed too. he asks her not to worry as the Kulguru has calmed down. She remembers samrat instigating her to drink the juice.

meanwhile, downstairs, as samrat coems down, he finds damini alone, glazing through the magazine. he comes around her with a sullen and tensed face, seeing which she is boggled, but doesnt respond. he asks her if she is okay. she asks why, and replies in a retort. He reminds her urmi’s drama, saying that it bothered him deeply, and can only imagine what she went through, despite what the waiter told, as maybe ishaan did some damage control, to save urmi’s respect. she looks at him angrily. he says that he means no offense, but knowing him as his best friend. ishaan is in love and shall try anything to save urmi, being newly weds. she doesnt respond. sandhya watches them from a distance and decides to overhear whats going on. He says that he knew all along this would happen, but hopes from inside, that urmi would change in the six years that have gone by, and asks thm to be prepared for many more hues of urmi to be explored. sandhya tries hard to listen. He accuses urmi of being a hard core alcoholic, and tries to instigate damini against urmi, as to how she spoiled his life, and turned him to nothing, due to his oppurtunist nature. He says that ishaan is innocent, and hence would get to know, but hopes that he doesnt before its too late. He says that he prays to the lord, that ishaan be saved. Sandhya disbalances, and all are alarmed to see her. She makes an excuse that she was coming this way only. She sitys and damini leaves in a huff. sandhya leaves after her. He eyes them both going, with an evil smirk, saying that now she has been instigated enough, and would turn against urmi. He is oblivious that urmi hears all this from the balcony.

As he goes in his room, urmi storms in angrily. he taunts her, asking how’s the hangover and reminds her of her dance last night. He says that she never did anything like this, when she was his wife. she says that noone might know, but she does, that he tampered with her drink, as she knows him to the truest core. he amusingly tells her to explain how she felt the defeat, as she is a game also for him and a toy too. she says that he didnt leave any stone unturned to embarass her, but its enough, as now she too shall play and make him her toy. He asks her to keep repeating this again and again, chiding her, as that would give her satisfaction, since he would continue doing one thing or the other. He says that he has come here for only one reason. she says that she would throw him out too, for the same. he belittles her challenge. She says that within 24 hours, she would have him thrown out. he is tensed.

In the kitchen, while urmi prepares fr the rasoi ritual, sandhya asks her whats she making. she says that she is making a carrot dessert happily. sandhya keeps commenting one thing or the other. urmi is tensed. samrat overhears this all from a distance. urmi is hurt at sandhya’s hurtful taunts, but doesnt react. She advises urmi to make it tasty. urmi silently complies. Sandhya leaves. urmi gets back to her work. After finishing her work, she begins to add sugar, but remembers that she kept the press on. She rushes out. Later, samrat stealthily comes and mixes a lot of salt, saying that he wouldnt let urmi have her way, and shall displease everyone on urmi, and spoil her relation with everyone. He then leaves. After sometime urmi returns, and gets back to work.

At the dining table, all await for urmi’s dessert. tani belittles it, saying that urmi definitely knows how to cook food. Sandhya’s husband vouches for urmi’s culinary talent. Samrat anxiously waits for urmi’s dessert and the reaction that it shall have on everyone. finally urmi gets the dessert and serves it to everyone. All begin to taste the halwa, while urmi anxiously waits for their comments and reactions. samrat thinks evilly that this is the taste that is his special ingredient in her dessert. before samrat can taste, anirudh says that its damn good, and others have the same response, boggling samrat. Urmi eyes this expression, and watches in content, as samrat wonders where did the salt go. The screen freezes on her face.

Precap: urmi receives a gift from anirudh, who asks her to keep giving such sweet mixes in everyone’s relationships too. All look on. tani is told by urmi, that such small things and issues, are what make marriage a sweet journey. she asks tani that she definitely must be missing such things. tani is visibly uncomfortable. Urmi comes to shaurya and he hugs her. She says that she missed him, and he reciprocates asking when would he go with them, and if samrat has left or not. urmi is tensed. Later, urmi tells saroj and everyone else, how her drink was tampered and how she thinks samrat must have been behind it. All are tensed. gaurav is enraged. urmi says that whatever samrat does, she shall not feel intimadated, and shall give back a tit for tat response.
