And what can be better then news about a favorite actor of yours getting hitched. Actor Prachi Tehlan, who made a huge impact with her roles in Diya Aur Baati Hum and Ikyawann is all set to tie the knot in August.
According to Bombay Times, Tehlan confirmed the news and said, “I am planning to get married to Rohit Saroha, who is a Delhi-based businessman, and a wildlife conservationist in the first week of August. It is going to be a small wedding with 50 people in attendance. The interesting part is that we were dating each other seven years back for a short span of time. We had met during my cousin’s wedding. He liked me during that time, we dated for some time but things didn’t work out. We reconnected during the lockdown and within a month, everything was finalised and now we are planning to get married soon. He is also a jaat, and our families are super excited about our wedding.”
She added, “He asked me on the second day – ‘Will you marry me?’ because he always loved me as a person. It is about that connection. We spoke to our families and then hamara roka ho gaya on my mother’s birthday and here we are. Considering my height, my clothes will be customised and my stylist has already started her work. For my wedding, I am going to wear an outfit from a bridal brand in Patiala and I have chosen them because they were the first brand to source me anything. This is something I wanted to do for them.”
