Divyaalakshmi, renowned for her role in Maharana Pratap and recently seen in Naagin 6, is making a triumphant return to the small screen after a short hiatus. The talented actress is set to play a significant role in the upcoming show “Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai,” where she joins Meera Deosthale and Zaan Khan in lead roles.
Having already commenced shooting for the show, Divyaalakshmi spoke about her excitement, stating, “Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai is a show that sheds light on a social evil, the dowry system, which has tarnished the institution of marriage and is a stain on our society. I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of this show, and I’ve already begun shooting.”
Discussing her character, Divyaalakshmi shared, “I play Surabhi, the mother of Nandini, portrayed by Meera Deosthale, who is the face of the show. Surabhi’s role is crucial in the narrative. The promo has been released, and both the promo and the show appear very promising. We anticipate that the show will drive positive societal change and generate high TRPs for the channel.”
