Disha Parmar who is currently essaying the female lead in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 is all set to play mother for the first time to a five-year-old. During a recent interview with BT, the actress talked about it and shared, “I am too young and just got married last year in July. When the makers told me about the five-year leap and the decision for Ram and Priya to become parents, I had my doubts. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to play a mother so early in my career. Then I heard the script and the makers convinced me. The show is different and we don’t have dramatic scenes like other shows and a lot of hard work has gone into each scene. So, I decided to accept it and go ahead with playing a mother.”
When asked if her husband, singer Rahul Vaidya is comfortable with her romantic scenes on the show, she replied, “Rahul and I are professionals. Just like he romances some actresses in music videos, I am romancing my co-actor on a show. So, we both understand that it is just acting at the end of the day.”
It will be one year of marriage for Disha and Rahul in July and she shares how life has been blissful since she got married. She says, “I have known Rahul for a long time, so we had that comfort level. After marriage, it just felt like I had moved in with my friend. Also, his family has been extremely supportive.”
When asked about her recent post where she can be seen in a bikini, Disha said, “I didn’t post my bikini pictures because it’s a trend on social media. Everybody wears a bikini or monokini on a beach, so there is nothing new about it. But, in the past few months, I am following a healthier lifestyle. I regularly work out and I am feeling fitter.”
