Recap: shivaay sent her a gift (watch)
Anika: aise kaise lelu, aap mere kuch lagte hai jo lelu
Both got silent after this. Neither knew what to say cause both had feelings for each other. But they neither understood those feelings nor accepted them. Shivaay broke the silence
Shivaay: Priyanka deti to rakhti na {{ would you accept it if Priyanka gave it to you}}
Anika: vo to meri dost hai {{ ya, cause she’s my friend}}
Shivaay: okay, to fir abse hum bhi dost hai. Ab tadi mat dikhao or ghadi pehenlo {{ok so from now we’re also friends. Now keep the watch}}
Anika- par {{but}}
Shivaay: shivaay singh oberoi ko na sunna pasand nhi. Jab koi dost gift deta hai to mana nahi karte. Ab vo ghadi pehen kr dikhao{{ i don’t take no for an answer. When a friend gifts you something, you keep it. Now put it on and show it to me}}
Anika: okay (bagad billa she murmured)
She disconnected the call and wore the watch. She then cliked a picture of her wrist and sent it to shivaay. Both of them were delighted with this new label of their relationship.
Sahil entered and saw anika lost in thoughts looking at her gift. He called her name but she didn’t react so he shook her
Sahil: anika didi kha khoyi hui ho aap {{where are you lost}}
Anika: kahi bhi to nhi{{ no where}}
Sahil: kabse apne haath ko dekh kar smile kar rhi ho. Aapne nayi ghadi li {{you’ve been smiling, looking at your hand for so long, did you get a new watch}}
Anika: nhi sahil ye to billuji ne di hai {{ no billuji gave this}}
Sahil: sso ne aapko gift diya or aapne le bhi liya vo bhi Valentine’s day par {{ sso gave you a gift on Valentine’s day and you accepted}}
Anika:(she now realized what day it was) ha to ab hum dost hai to maine leli or tu chup kar kya faltu baate karta rehta hai. Teri koi umar hai Valentine’s manane ki. Ja apna homework kar

Sahil: acha… Saying so he left from there and called somebody. He told the person on call about this new development between shivika
Shivaay drove back home and he still couldn’t wipe that smile off his face. How could he, he talked to her after 3 months today.
Omru: tu aa gya shivaay/bhaiyya. Kya baat hai bada khush lag rha hai. {{ You’re back, you look happy}}
Om: koi new deal crack karli kya {{ did you crack a new deal}}
Rudra: ha O deal hi to crack ho gyi, ghadi ghadi (smirking)
{{Yeah O, one deal has been cracked, time}}
Hearing the word ghadi shivaay coughed and looked at rudra
Rudra: o bhaiyya ghadi ghadi nayi deals crack karte rehta hai. Haina bhaiyya
{{He cracks a deal time to time. Right }}
Shivaay: ha deal ho gyi, chalo ab kuch khate hai {{yeah deal’s done, let’s eat}}
Omru laughed at shivaay’s condition and thought of teasing him more.
Rudra: bhaiyya aaj Valentine’s pe to aapne koi gift {{ it’s Valentine’s, did you buy any gift}}
Shivaay: gift mai, mai kisiko gift kyu dunga {{ why will i need to}}
Rudra: bhaiyya aap sunte nhi ho, ghadi ghadi rok dete ho. Mai to keh rha tha, aaj Valentine’s tha or mai to 4 date pr ho aaya, O single hai, to aap hi koi gift dedo O ko.. aap dono ka single hood celebrate krne k liye. Jaise new watch ya kuch or..

Shivaay coughed again. He had no clue that it was Valentine’s today, his eyes widened with tension. What would anika think about him sending a gift today.
Although om enjoyed this little teasing session, he could clearly see horror on shivaay’s face
Om: shut up rudra.
[Wondering how omru knew? Well who else would sahil call to talk about shivika]
A worried shivaay called anika, but after calling it occurred to him, what is he going to say
Anika received the call with hesitation
Shivaay: anika vo muje nhi pta tha {{anika, i didn’t know}}
Anika: muje bhi nhi {{me too}}
Shivaay: ke aaj valen {{today’s valen}}
Anika: Valentine’s hai
Shivaay: ha, maine vo ghadi sirf ek friend {{i gifted you as a friend}}
Anika: or maine friend ban kr li {{and i accepted as one}}
Shivaay: okay so cool, goodnight
Anika: ha good night.
Both couldn’t stop smiling thinking about the awkward situation they were just in. And neither of them could sleep that night, thinking about their friendship.
Next morning, omru decided to help them build up this friendship. They decided to have a get together.
Om: rudra tu preparations kar, mai anika ko invite krdunga {{you do the preparations I’ll invite anika}}
Rudra: lekin shivaay bhaiyya ko kon btayga?{{who will tell shivaay}}
Om: tu btayga {{you}}
Rudra: nhi O, hum saath me shaheed honge. Ab chalo bhaiyya ko btane {{now we’ll go in the Lion’s den together, let’s go}}
Om: ek minute rudra, get together me kya sirf hum char honge? Shivaay samaj jayga sab or sara plan barbaad ho jayga. {{Wait, with just 4 of us in the get together shivaay will understand Everything}}
Rudra: kya O aap to mujse bhi bade duffer ho. Hum obros, anika didi, sumo, prinku 6 log hai 4 nhi. [Rumya were not married] {{you are the biggest duffer, we’re 6- obros, anika, sumo, prinku}}
Om: nhi rudra, shivaay kahega inse to him roz milte hai, sirf ek anika hi to specially aa rhi hai. {{But shivaay will say all of live here only anika is a guest}}
Rudra: mai apni girlfriend sheena ko bula leta hu {{I’ll invite my girlfriend sheena}}
Om: shut up rudra, tu din me 4 baar girlfriend badalta hai, hum 6 hi kafi hai {{no need, you change your gf atleast 4 times a day, let it be}{
They goto talk to shivaay.
Omru: humne shaam ko ek get together rakha hai {{we’re organizing a get together today}}
Shivaay: firse rudy, last time kya hua tha bhool gya {{again, don’t you remember what happened last time}}
Rudra: bhaiyya aap chinta mat karo, is baar punch me koi gadbad nhi hogi. He smirked but when has rudy boy ever stopped his mischief. {{ Don’t worry bro, i won’t mess up the punch again}}
Shivaay: fine, kon kon aa rha hai? {{Fine, who’s coming}}
Om: bus hum youngsters, hum teeno or soumya, Prinku or anika
Shivaay: anika, vo aa rhi hai? {{ Is anika actually coming?}}
Rudra: unke dost isi ghar me rehte hai, vo definitely aaygi {{ her friends live here, she’ll come}}
Shivaay: ha ha you’re right. Okay, but rudra no mistakes
Shivaay left from there thinking about the previous get together, his dance with anika and “moon therapy”
Om called up anika, but she refused the offer making excuses that she’s busy. Rudra snatched the phone from omkara’s hand and turned on the loudspeaker. He pleaded her to come, but she refused. Shivaay, who was passing by, heard this and said
Shivaay: tadi dikha rahi hai anika or kuch nhi, she doesn’t care about her friends this anika finally decided to come and said yes.
Anika pov: OM jana padega, kahi pichle baar k tarah kuch gadbad na ho bas {{ I’ll have to go, i hope everything goes on perfectly unlike last time}}
She dressed up and left for OM. She wore a simple long skirt with a crop top(nothing too hi-fi like the oberois but she still looked beautiful)
Rudra looked after all the preparations. He knew no one would trust his fruit punch so he very smartly arranged for options this time- punch, juice, cold drink. Little did anyone know, rudy had added alcohol in all the beverages. Smart boy, he thought and smirked. Everyone was present at the pool side, they were waiting for shivika. Shivaay was busy on his phone, when he collided with someone. Anika who had just come tripped due to her skirt but she landed on Shivaay. They were on the floor with anika on top of him. Their hearts were racing and they shared an eyelock. Shivaay caressed her hair that touched his face. Prinku’s voice calling out for shivaay, brought them back to reality and they got up. They reached the pool side and anika met everyone while shivaay kept on staring and wondering
Shivaay pov: how can anyone look so beautiful in such simple clothes. Shut up shivaay, vo sirf teri dost hai. Stop thinking about her.
Rudra brought beverages for everyone. But they all screamed together- rudy no punch
Rudra: are chill guys, ye dekho or options bhi hai
So no one took the punch and they chatted for a while. They toasted to their friendship and danced a little. Anika was busy catching up with soumya while rudy, prinku and om were dancing. Shivaay stood aside looking at his family enjoy. Rudy’s drinks had kicked in and everyone was getting intoxicated
Soumya went to attend a call so anika approached shivaay.
