Everybody was standing numb, and no words were spoken. Was it the ending of their love story..??!
Sanskar held swara who was on the verge of falling..Her eyes were just going to get closed…!! She was in a pool of blood..
“Swara get up..no no..you can’t do this..??! Why Swara why…why you took the bullet..?! It was meant for me..!! Swara don’t close your eyes..!! Everything would just go fine..we are going to the hospital..!!” Said sanskar teary eyed who was himself losing it and trying hard to keep himself together..!!
The whole family was looking at her shocked, tears flowing in a never ending flow..!!
Shomi went near her and cried her heart out, this was not at all planned..!! It was supposed to be the best day of her life, but now..
Ajay ran behind the man who had shot Swara, who was now trying to escape..!!
He got a hold of him and dragged him in the hall..!! He pulled out his mask and it was none other than Sahil..!!
Swara was on the verge of closing her eyes..

Sanskar enraged in anger seeing him there..he had hurt his Swara, no he will not leave him easily..!!
Swara: (cupping his face with much difficulty) Sanskar Please..talk to me, i don’t know till how much time i will make it..please i want to spend this time with you..sanskar..i love you..!!

Sanskar looks at Sahil angrily..”ajay take him to the police station..i will see him there..” said sanskar emotionlessly as he was not able to get what was going on around him..while Ajay was beating him black and blue..!!
“Don’t worry Swara..!! Everything will be fine..!! We are going to the hospital..nothing will happen to you..!! Nothing..i’m there with you..we are going to the hospital..!!” Sanskar said picking her up in his arms, teary eyed as her blood was flowing in a never ending flow..
Seeing her in this condition was difficult then death for him, she was his breath and if something happens to her, he would not be able to forgive himself..

Sanskar carefully made swara sit in the car and drove to the hospital all teary eyed, no this can’t happen..!!
All their memories, dates, day outs were revolving in his mind..the day they confessed each other, their puchka love, their movie date, rain dance..

Uth ja saale yun satata hai kyun…
He loved her immensely and she can’t give this him in return..!! She has to come back fit and fine without any harm..!!
A tear slid down his eye, remembering their beautiful journey..
Sanskar: Keep talking to me Swara! Swara please..don’t close your eyes..!!
Swara was on the verge of fainting..”I LOVE YOU SANSKAR..!!” Swara said and closed her eyes..!!

“No Swara! This can’t be happening no…!!” Sanskar said patting her cheek as he drived more fastly..!!
Two hours later:
At the hospital:
“Doctor is she fine..?! Please doctor say something..!!” Sanskar asked the doctor panicking as he came out of the operation theatre after two hours..!!
Doctor: Mr Maheshwari, be calm..!! Her stage is very critical, the next 24 hours are going to be very critical for her..excuse me..
As these words left the doctor’s mouth, everybody just stood numb..!!
Shekhar hugged Shomi tightly as it was becoming impossible for her to see this! How can a mother see her child like this..?! Her life is on the ventilator, whom she had made play in her arms..
Shomi(crying miserably): Why my daughter only..?! What she has done..?! Please god! Give her back to me..!!
Pari was also crying uncontrollably seeing her sister in a pool of blood..
The sister who never wanted to eat a medicine was attached to so many machines..she could not even breath herself..
Adarsh hugged her calming her..
Sanskar said with a thud on the chair nearby and covered with his face with his palms..this was not going to happen..!!
His life, his soulmate, his everything was lying inside the OT unconscious, and he could not do anything..!! The bullet was meant for him..!! Guilt surrounded him as he thought he is the reason of all this!!
Paas aaye..
Dooriyaan phir bhi kam naa hui
Ek adhuri si hamari kahani rahi
Aasmaan ko zameen, ye zaroori nahi

Ajay sat beside him and kept his hand on his shoulder teary eyed..!! He turned and hugged him tightly..!! No, he could not control himself anymore!! Their memories were flashing in his mind, leaving him all teary eyed..!!
Ajay: Sanskar everything will be fine, don’t worry..!! Our Swara is a fighter, she will come out of this..!! (Teary eyed)
Sanskar was all teary eyed, the man who was the cause of this was flashing in his mind, anger enraged him as he got up and his eyes were blood shot red..!!
Ajay: Where are you going Sanskar?
Sanskar: To give punishment to the man who had made my swara like this..!!
Ajay felt he will do something wrong for sure, he was extremely angry..!!
“Wait sanskar..he is already getting his punishment in the police station..!! Swara needs you here..what if she wakes up and asks for you..?! Don’t dirty your hands by touching that killer..!! I will look after him..!!” Ajay said trying to stop Sanskar as he was leaving..
Sanskar stopped in his way and looked at Ajay..”I’m here only for Swara, once she gets fine, you can’t stop me..!!”sanskar said and sat down on the chair running his hands through his hair calming himself..!!
Ap and Dp were equally worried for Swara..one side Swara was fighting with her life and here their son, sitting without life..!! Again..again he was going through the same pain..!!
Sanskar’s POV
Life again back stabbed me, whenever i thought that now everything is going to be fine, it doesn’t. And this time, my swara is bearing the pain..why..?! That bullet was meant for me..!! No, she has to come back, she has to. We are bound together..she promised that she will be with me all my life. Then how can she break it..?! I have to be strong, no i can’t let my happiness, my life go again like this.

A tear made way down his eyes..the pain was becoming unbearable now..!!
At night:
Swara was shifted to the ICU, still critical. No body had eaten anything, no body had energy left now. Only one think had been keeping them together – HOPE.
Hope that she will be fine soon, hope that the wedding will begin again, hope that the miseries will end, hope that the Swara and Sanskar will again be happy.
The nurse came out of the ICU..
Nurse: Only two family members are allowed in the night, one outside and one with the patient.
Shomi: Ok, i will stay here and you all can go..i can’t leave my daughter in this stage.
Pari: But maa..(interrupted)
Sanskar: And i will be outside maa..you can call me anytime. (To all others) You all should go home and take rest. Oon’t forget to eat dinner.
Ap: Beta we will be here..
Shomi: He said we both are here..you all can go..
All others left the hospital assuring to come in the morning..pari was not agreeing to leave but adarsh forced her..!!
Sanskar sat down on the chair outside the ICU and closed his eyes..Swara’s smiling face was just in his mind..
It’s the test of their love, and he has to pass it. Love can’t be achieved without hurdles and hardships..!! He has to be there for his shona, without whom he is just a body without soul..
Shomi had gone to the hospital temple to pray for her daughter who was in the most difficult time of her life..!!
Soon, sleep engulfed Sanskar..Shomi came there and caressed his hairs..she could not have demanded a better son-in-law..!! She went inside the ICU..
At 3 am:
Sanskar’s sleep broke due to discomfort as he slept sitting on the chair..he looked beside him and was surprised to see Swara, his life smiling at him..!!
Sanskar:(smiling) Swara you are back! I knew it, how can you leave me..?! And how can you take the bullet ha..?! Are you insane..?!
He hugged Swara as tight as he could and tears made their way through both the pair of orbs..!!
They parted as both smiled at each other..!!
Swara: Sanskar it looks like my time has come..!!
Sanskar: What..?!
Swara: Thanks for everything Sanskar, i love you..!!
Sanskar: No Swara, what are you saying..?!
Swara: Looks like, our journey was till here only..!!
Sanskar:(teary eyed about to cry) No swara, you will be fine..don’t leave me..!!
Swara: Always be happy Sanskar..
Soon, she disappeared..
Sanskar woke with a jerk fully covered with sweat..!!
He looked here and there only to find no one..!! He left a sigh of relief and went to check on Swara..!!

Standing at the door of the ICU, he saw her lying there not aware of her surroundings..!! His eyes became glassy due to tears..
“Our love was not this much weak swara, i know you will come back. I have believe in our love who can fight anything and everything..!!” Sanskar said in his mind with a painful smile..

Soon, after a day of this much miseries, again the sun rose..it was a new day, a new beginning with a new hope..!! Sanskar had woke up by now and shomi was with Swara..!!
Shomi came outside..
Shomi: Sanskar can you please be with her..?? I need to go home to get fresh..!!
Sanskar smiled and nodded..!!
He went inside the ICU and sat beside her bed..he held her hand and kissed it..!! He caressed her hair and kissed her forehead with all the love he had for her..!!

He didn’t left her hand even for a single second, fearing she will go away..!!
“Come on, get up now..!! We have to complete our marriage and honeymoon bhi toh pending hai..!! Stop troubling me and get up!! Everybody is waiting for you, you have to be fine soon..!! Arrey tere liye shadi ka jodha fir se lena hoga..dhat!! Kitna kharcha karwati hai..!! But tere bina kaise lun main jodha?”
Sanskar said smiling painfully..
1 hour later:
All the maheshwari family and gadodia family arrived soon..!!
Ap came towards Sanskar and handed him the food smiling..”eat beta..tune kal se kuch nhi khaya hai..”ap said to sanskar as he nodded smiling..he knew his mom would have been worried..!!
All were waiting for the doctor to come out as he was checking Swara..!!
The doctor came out after around 30 minutes and told them about her health..
Doctor: Look i don’t want to give any false hopes to anyone of you but there is no improvement in her..she has slipped into COMA..!!
