Maddie sees the bag on the floor and remembers his radio conversation with Aaradhya. As he bends to retrieve the bag, Aaradhya runs up to him and thanks him for saving her bag from the thief. She curses the thief rather cutely and Maddie smiles shyly. She then tells him that she is not skipping work, but she has some important work and she has informed Gupta. He agrees and lets her off. As she goes, she’s in a hurry as she’s late and she spots two homeless kids and buys them ice cream. Maddie is staring at her and smiling.
Aaradhya finally reaches the mall and is on the phone with her friend and lamenting about her ruined make up. Her friend reassures her and asks her to calm down. Aaradhya is waiting outside the food court for Ehsaas.
Rahul parks
Aaradhya is telling her friend how grateful she is to Maddie for saving her bag, else she would have had nothing to give Ehsaas. She cuts the call, and at the same time, Rahul and Maddie enter the mall. Rahul looks around confidently while Maddie is a nervous wreck. Rahul goes and asks the clown to create a diversion so that Aaradhya is distracted and doesn’t realise that Ehsaas is Maddie, and he can sneak off the CD and run away. Maddie is on the escalator and he is remembering all the things girls say about him in general and is nervous.
The clown has somehow dropped a lot of shiny stuff and sequins onto Aaradhya and she’s freaked out cause all the little pieces are in her hair and they’re gonna get ruined. On the other hand, Maddie is staring gobsmacked at her. He then comes to his senses and realises what has he come for. Aaradhya is still occupied with her hair, Rahul is mouthing to Maddie that he should go and grab the CD but Maddie is still nervous and hesitant.
Maddie quietly goes up to Aaradhya’s bag and sneaks the CD out of it. As he’s quietly walking, he bursts a balloon and Aaradha has a strange feeling, since the wind is blowing, and she turns, only to realise the clown is dancing. Her eyes fall on her bag, and she realises that her CD is missing, and Ehsaas has left a note for her, thanking her for the CD and apologising for not being able to meet her. She freaks out and runs off to find him.
Maddie climbs on the escalator and drops the muffler, and it lands right in front of Rahul. He picks up the muffler and is playing with it for a bit, which is when he is spotted by Aaradhya, who is shocked to realise that Rahul is supposedly Ehsaas. She remembers all the moments spent with him and begins to jump in joy, literally. Maddie sees her jumping and is worried if she spotted him or no.
Rahul is laughing at Aaradhya about how she is self obsessed and thinks that she is an angel, not a human. Maddie dreamily agrees to the statement, and quickly amends his statement by pretending to agree about her obsession with herself.
On the other hand, Aaradhya is overjoyed that she finally found out Ehsaas’ identity and the song Kuch Toh Hua Hai plays, as Aaradhya is dancing and jumping around the place and imagines Rahul on Ehsaas’ chair while blushing.
Maddie’s mom goes up to his room and compliments his looks. At the same time, Rahul comes and asks how does he look, but she royally ignores him. She calls them down as the guy’s family has come to see Prerna.
Prerna is brought down and Soham’s mother reveals that he is a history buff. Maddie’s grandma cracks a small joke on it, and Prerna-Soham go off to talk on their own.
Prerna and Soham strike up a small conversation about small things like their likes and what would she like to do after marriage. Prerna admits that she wants to work after marriage, and gives a lecture on how women and men are to be treated equally, and she has no reason not to work after marriage.
On the other side, Soham’s parents enquire about Rahul and Maddie, and Rahul replies that while he’s the face of Jhankaar, Maddie is the man behind it. Soham and Prerna come down, and they agree to the alliance. The families are overjoyed. Soham’s mother then asks if they’d be interested in fixing their son’s marriage with their daughter. Everyone’s overjoyed, and they all probably think that the alliance is for Maddie. Episode ends.
Precap: Rahul fires Aaradhya. Aaradhya cries to Maddie that she thought when she’d meet Ehsaas, she’d pass him the records. Maddie is shocked, as he thinks that she saw him and is not repulsed by his face
