Ritvik asks Aman if he is feeling better. Aman nods. Let’s go home. I will feel better. Ritvik says what Rohit will feel. He gets Rohit’s call just then. He tells him what Aman has been saying. Rohit asks him to come asap. Aman can rest here. It is urgent. Ritvik agrees. Aman fails in trying to divert Ritvik.
Naman’s mother expresses her wish to give the ancestral ring to Palak. Palak’s father goes to call Palak. Kapoor’s have decided you have said yes already but I don’t think that’s what you want. I will just tell them. Reeva greets Kapoor’s. Naman’s mother recognizes her. Reeva says I came to neighbour house and my cat ran here. Manjeet ji takes her aside. Leave from here right away! Reeva acts that she just told her about Palak’s engagement. She hugs Palak
Naman reaches the chawl. Mr. Kapoor tells Reeva that they always liked Palak. Reeva calls them cool. You are ready to accept Palak even after knowing that she has a boyfriend. She has a secret affair. Kapoor’s ask Palak about it. Naman greets them just then. I think I entered at an awkward moment. Reeva declines. She repats her words. Naman asks Palak about it. She accepts that she had a boyfriend once. Mrs. Kapoor is uncomfortable. Naman tells her to let Palak say it. Palak thanks Reeva for bringing this up. I did love someone and that was in the past. Now there is nothing. Naman asks her if she still loves him.
Ananya keeps trying Ritvik’s phone hoping he will pick it. Shivam is teasing Shanaya. Mamta asks them about Reeva and is shocked to know she went to Palak’s house.
Mrs. Kapoor says sorry for the alliance. If Palak loves someone then this marriage should not happen. Naman asks her to let Palak complete. He repeats his question at Palak. Mrs. Kapoor says seems like she is getting married to Naman to get over her ex. Palak denies. Naman says something that touches Manjeet ji (about his late wife). Mamta comes to call Reeva. Manjeet ji tells Mamta to take Reeva. Your kids seem too lost. Naman asks Palak if she accepts this alliance.
Ritvik and Aman reach the chawl. Ritvik sees the cars outside Palak’s house. Who has come? Aman wants to stay back in the car. Ritvik is curious as to what’s going on inside Palak’s house. He asks Rohit about it. Rohit tells him to drop it but Ritvik walks inside Palak’s house.
Palak’s father tells Palak to let it be if she isn’t ready. Mrs. Kapoor too tells Palak to take her time. Naman says everyone has a past. I too had one. I am really sorry for all this that’s happening. Would you like to marry me? Palak says yes. Ritvik hears it and is heartbroken. Mamta notices him by the door. His eyes are welled up. Naman says sorry to his mom. Both of us are ready. I will make her wear the ring right away. We can fit it as per her size later. Manjeet ji also brings a ring. Ritvik is shocked to see them exchange rings. Palak also notices Ritvik at the door as she makes Naman wear the ring. Everyone claps for the couple. Mrs. Kapoor asks them to get ready for the marriage. It shall happen soon. Manjeet ji requests them to make the Baraat pass from in front of a temple in Chhatarpur. They agree.
Mamta takes Reeva with her.
Palak’s father asks his wife about what she just said. She points out that Noon House is there. They will see the Baraat passing by from there.
In her room, Palak thinks she will marry for her mother’s sake. If it makes you happy then be it. I cannot fall in love again though. She thinks of her past moments spent with Ritvik and how shattered he was when she exchanged rings with Naman. She cries her heart out. On the other hand, Mamta comforts Ritvik outside. Hamari Adhuri Kahani plays in the background.
VP is shocked to see his son crying. Ritvik hugs him and cries hard. I wanted to marry her! VP tells him it was so easy for her to forget him and move on. Think about it. Ritvik is unable to digest the truth and is completely shaken.
Manjeet ji brings Naman to Palak’s room. She tells them to spend some quality time together and goes. Naman follows Palak inside. Naman says I couldn’t say some things outside in front of everyone but you should know. He shows his wife’s photo. Her photo is not just in my mobile but on the room walls. I still love her very much. He shows his kids’ photos to them. They are very friendly and accept you. We will marry for sure but I may not be able to love you like a husband ever. I love my wife and will always love her. You can back out still if you want to. She shakes her head. He asks her why she left her ex. Don’t judge me. I lost my wife and still love her. I hope you don’t leave your ex over some stupid reason. You will regret it in future otherwise. She reasons that no one will try to walk away from the ones they love. When it comes to love and loved ones, I will always choose my loved ones. Naman tells Palak to make sure she wont take any decision today that she will regret later. She firmly tells him she wont regret it.
VP comforts Ritvik. A guy tells him to take care of himself. Manjeet ji gives them Palak’s wedding card and invites them over. This was the card chosen by Palak for her marriage with Ritvik but she was destined to marry Naman so his name got printed on the card instead. Stay in your house that day as the Baraat would pass from their house only. Mamta tells her she is sacrificing Palak’s happiness for her ego. Manjeet ji says it would have happened if Palak had married in your house. You would have blamed her for anything that would have gone wrong. Mamta asks her what she is saying but Ritvik says it is good. Now nothing will go wrong and
Aman comes to Ritvik’s room. I am sorry. I dint want you to see all that. Ritvik says you ate peanuts for my sake. Aman calls him his brother. Ritvik talks about how he saw his parents crying. I was heartbroken and that’s all it took for her to leave me!
VP says I always thought to secure kids after naming everything on them. I wont do that now after what happened with Ritvik. I don’t want any woman to come in his life for his money.
Naman’s family asks Palak if she knows everything now. Palak nods. Naman’s kids give him a hug. He introduces Palak to them as their new friend. Tanya says you said you will bring a new mom. Mrs. Kapoor calls Palak their new mother. Naman makes them shake hands and then sends the kids with the nanny. Naman says I want a mother for my kids and a friend for myself. It will be better if I have a friend. Palak reasons that it works best for both of them. I also want a friend only. I anyways wont be able to fall in love again. Naman smiles.
Precap: Ritvik is upset with Manjeet ji for the way she gave wedding card to his parents. I was crying and my parents were shattered! Manjeet ji wants to do everything quickly. VP asks Ritvik to go to London. Ritvik says you stood by my side when I broke apart.
