Next morning, the haldi ceremony starts…everyone in the family is wearing yellow clothes.
Shivaay: om, have you seen anika?
Om: no. I’ve not. In fact I was going to ask you the same. Chote papa told me to check if she’s ready.
Shivaay: okay, I’ll go and check.
Om: wait! Have you seen gauri?
Shivaay: no. I thought she was with you.
Om: let’s go and see where they are.

(dadi comes)
Dadi : no billu, om you can’t see anika and gauri until haldi ceremony gets over.

Dadi: because that is the part of the ceremony. Your haldi and anika’s and gauri’s haldi will be done separately.
Shivaay: but why dadi?
Dadi: stop asking questions and go and sit for your mahendi.
Shivaay: (gets sad) okay dadi.

Later…
Shivaay’s and om’s haldi ceremony starts…
Jhanvi puts haldi on shivaay…
Jhanvi: god always bless you and anika.
Shivaay: thank you Badi ma.
Pinky puts haldi on shivaay…
Pinky: always remain happy.
Shivaay: thanks mom.
(and then one by one everyone put haldi on shivaay….
and then dadi takes a different bowl and puts haldi on om.)
Dadi: I hope that gauri and your love blooms just like shivaay and anika’s love…or even more than that.
Shivaay: (laughs) no dadi! No one can beat anika and I!
Om: (smiles) we’ll see!
Shivaay: so, you admit that both of you love each other?
Om: n.. No…I mean…dadi, let’s just continue the ceremony.
(everyone laugh)
One by one everyone puts haldi on om. Then tej’s turn comes. He puts haldi on om’s face but om tries to back away.
Tej: I know a lot of things have happened in the past. And I really have realised my mistakes. Look at you, all grown up. Your marriage is today and I …I feel that years flew so quick. I know I was really mean and a terrible father perhaps. But won’t you give me another chance? Please? Atleast on this special day of yours? I’m really trying to be a better person. Please forgive me.
Om: I’ll try…I don’t promise but I’ll try.
Tej: thank you. (he hugs om) congratulations. Hope you have a great married life.
Om: thank you.
(everyone smile seeing this sweet scene…all except for rudra.)
Dadi: come, now let’s take these bowls of haldi to Anika and Gauri.
Later….
Anika and gauri’s haldi ceremony starts.
One by one the family members put haldi on anika and bless her.
Rudra: bhabhi…om, sahil and I had a surprise planned for you.
Anika: what is it?
(sahil comes through the door and behind him,a few girls come)
Anika: oh my god! My best friends! (she runs and hugs them carefully) thank you so much for coming!
Thank you sahil! Thanks rudra!
Rudra: anything for you bhabhi!!
Sahil: i’m so happy that your happy!
And then dadi takes another bowl and puts haldi on gauri. And one by one everyone put.
Meanwhile,
Anika: (whispers) pssst…rudra…rudra!
Rudra: haan bhabhi, what happened? Do you need anything?
Anika: no….I wanted to ask…that…that….
Rudra: no need to be so shy bhabhi.. I know what you wanted to ask. You wanted to know how Bhaiya’s haldi ceremony was right?
Anika: (blushes) yes.
Rudra: you’re too cute bhabhi… Don’t worry, everything was perfect. Bhaiya was missing you.
Anika: really? I miss him too.
Rudra: bhabhi, you both will see each other after the wedding tonight.
Anika: ya but still.
Rudra: (goes to gauri) waise, gauri bhabhi, see who has cone to see you?
Gauri: who?
Rudra goes and brings gauri’s mom.
Gauri: (exclaims with joy) ma! You came!!
Gauri’s mom: how could I not come in my daughter’s haldi ceremony?
(she hugs gauri)
Gauri: I love you maa. Thank you rudy Bhaiya! Thank you sahil!
Rudra: my pleasure bhabhi!!
(while everyone is talking, gauri secretly calls rudra)
Rudra: (whispers) don’t worry bhabhi, o’s haldi ceremony went well. He wore the kurta which you had chosen for him.
Gauri: how do you know that I wanted to ask that?
Rudra: because your not the only person with such an enquiry.
Gauri: oh! Okay…but what else happened? I heard that papa wanted to omkara ji to forgive him.
Rudra: oh yes. That was shocking. Them hugging and all. I only wish that dad asked me also forgiveness after all that he’s been forcing aspirations on me.
Gauri: I think he will. Once he gets to know your talent.
Rudra: I don’t think he’ll ever understand. (he goes)
That evening, preparations for the marriage begins…the mandtap is ready, everyone looks so happy and beautiful.
The brides come down the stairs, looking stunning in red lehengas. Their respective grooms, wearing black and red and pagdis hold their hands.
Dadi tells the pandit to start shivaay and anika’s marriage.
The pandit chants few mantras and commences the marriage.
Shivaay and anika sit next to each other.
Shivaay: (whispers) so, anika…where do you want us to go for our honeymoon?
Anika: wherever you take me, I shall follow.
Shivaay: no, you tell me.
Anika: shh, our wedding day won’t come back. Concentrate. Let me be in this moment.
Shivaay: (laughs)
(pandit asks who will do kanyadaan. Anika gets tensed and sad. Then shakti comes to her. )
Shakti: I will do my daughter’s kanyadaan. Shall I anika?
Anika: (gets tears in her eyes) thank you papa.
Shakti: (wipes the tears from anika’s face. ) please don’t cry anika. We all are always there for you.
(anika stops crying)
Soon, shivika do the pheras and shivaay puts mangalsutra around anika’s neck and puts sindoor in her maang. The pandit says that the ritual is over and shivaay and anika are married now.
Everyone clap and throw flower petals on them.
Then the pandit starts om and gauri’s wedding. gauri’s mom does her kanyadaan.
Om: (whispers) you look really pretty today gauri.
Gauri: (whispers) thank you. You look good too.
(Om smiles, they finish the pheras and om puts mangalsutra around gauri’s neck and puts sindoor in her maang. The pandit says that the ritual is over and om and gauri are married. everyone clap and throw flower petals on them. )
(shivika and rikara take blessing from elders. They hug rudra, prinku and Soumya.)
Rudra: so shall we have a dil bole oberoi moment now?
Shivaay: no, even better. (he whispers something to everyone…then they stand together and….
Everyone: (together) DIL BOLE ISHQBAAAZ!
