EPISODE 22

EVENING,

RAICHAND MANSION,

Shekhar and Sumitra were sitting in the living room when Ahana comes there, she sees Sumitra looking at the entrance,

Ahana: Maa, is someone coming to our house? You both are sitting as if waiting for someone.
Sumitra: Ahana, someone nahi someone very important is coming…
Voice: Coming nahi Sumitra…. Have already come….

They turn to the entrance and see Tej-Janhvi standing there, Shekhar-Sumitra smile seeing them, Ahana looks on, Shekhar hugs Tej while Sumitra hugs Janhvi,

Shekhar: She is Ahana, Arjun’s wife….

Ahana smiles at them, comes forward and takes blessings from Tej-Janhvi,

Janhvi: Really Sumitra, she is so beautiful….
Ahana: Please come in and sit…. I’ll get tea for you all…. (She smiles and leaves from there)

They settle down in the living room,

Tej: We never thought that we would meet like this….
Shekhar: None of us thought that this would happen….
Sumitra: How is everybody at home? It’s been long we met them also….
Janhvi: Everybody is fine and Mummy ji, Pinky and Shakti also miss you….

Ahana comes there and serves tea to all of them, she sits beside Sumitra,

Shekhar: We’ll meet them also…. Actually we have organized a party for all our close friends and you have to come with your family….

Tej-Janhvi look at each other worried,

Sumitra: You don’t have to worry…. We have invited very few people…. And all are our close friends only…. So no need to worry….
Tej: Well, we’ll definitely come for the party…. And also Om is getting married after ten days and you have to come with your family….
Shekhar: Om is getting married…. This is such good news…. We’ll definitely join you all….
Sumitra: Children grow up so soon…. Last time when we met, they were kids playing with each other and now…. They are married or getting married….
Janhvi: You are right Sumitra…. Bache kab bade ho jaate hai samajh hi nahi aata….
Tej: I think now we should be leaving….
Shekhar: Please stay for dinner…. We’ve met after so many years….
Ahana: Yes uncle-aunty, please ruk jayien naa….
Janhvi: Thank you all for the invitation but not today…. We’ll stay next time….
Tej: Janhvi is right…. Everybody will be waiting for us at home….
Janhvi: Anyways we’ll be meeting at the party tomorrow….
Ahana: Wo bhi hai….

Tej and Janhvi leave after saying bye to them.

AT THE TEMPLE,

Aniruddh was waiting for Ishana sitting on the steps,

Aniruddh: Everyday she comes by this time…. Then why she didn’t come till now….

He gets up from his place and starts walking to and fro, he was thinking whether to call her and ask her or not to call her, he was busy thinking and didn’t notice Ishana had already come, she saw him walking and looked at him confused, she walks towards him, Aniruddh turned around and collided with Ishana, the puja plate fell from her hand, she is also about to fall when Aniruddh held her waist and she clenched his shirt, the haldi and kumkum from the plate falls on them and they look at each other,

Aniruddh realizes the surroundings and makes Ishana stand properly, however Ishana’s leg hurts,

Ishana: Ouch…. Aah…. (She is unable to stand properly)
Aniruddh: What happened Ishana, are you okay?
Ishana: I think I have a sprain in my leg…. It got twisted now….

Aniruddh makes her sit on the nearby steps,

Aniruddh: Show me….

He kneels down in front of her, he slowly takes her foot and places it on his knee, he slowly twists the ankle, and Ishana closes her eyes and holds his hand,

Ishana: Please don’t do it…. I think I have to apply medicine….
Aniruddh: Okay…. Come I’ll drop you….

Ishana agrees and tries to stand but due to the pain, she again sits down, Aniruddh looks at her worried,

Aniruddh: I don’t think you can walk like this…. So….

She looks at him confused, Aniruddh picks her up in his arms, she is surprised,

Ishana: Aniruddh….
Aniruddh: I am sorry but we don’t have any other option and I cannot see you in pain like this….

She looks at him and he looks at her, he starts walking and takes her to his car, he makes her sit in the car and then sits on the driver’s seat, he starts driving. After sometime, they reach Mittal House; Aniruddh gets down from the car and looks at Ishana,

Aniruddh: I am sorry but I have to do this…. (He again picks her up in his arms)
Ishana: But my family….
Aniruddh: We’ll handle them together….

He starts walking towards the mansion, they enter inside and all are shocked to see them, Vikram-Meera and Yash-Vidhi immediately walk towards them,

Yash: Ishu…. What is this? What has happened to you?
Aniruddh: We’ll tell you everything but first we should tend to Ishana’s sprain….
Vidhi: Haa…. Make Ishu sit on the sofa….

Aniruddh nods and places Ishana on the sofa, others follow them,

Aniruddh: Can you please get the pain relief spray, she needs it….

Vidhi nods and goes to get the spray, Meera sits beside Ishana,

Meera: Ishu…. How did this happen?
Ishana: Maa, I had gone to the temple…. And there I hurt my leg…. Aniruddh helped me and brought me home….
Vikram: Thank you so much beta…. For helping Ishu and bringing her home….
Aniruddh: Please uncle…. No need to say thank you….

Vidhi brings the spray and sits in front of Ishana, she sprays the medicine and Ishana closes her eyes, unknowingly she holds Aniruddh’s hand who was standing beside her, all look at this but don’t say anything, Vidhi smiles seeing this, Vikram and Meera also look at each other,

Aniruddh: Ishana…. It’ll burn for some time but your pain will also vanish….

Realizing that she is holding his hand, Ishana leaves his hand,

Aniruddh: Acha…. I think I should leave now….

All nod at him and he leaves.
