Samrat asks Bawridevi where Karishma is and hears her voice on the balcony. He finds a drunken Karishma clutching a bottle of alcohol. She claims she was looking for them; moments earlier Manveer had tried to touch her but she shoved him away and demanded to know what he was doing. Manveer says Bawridevi called Karishma downstairs for post-marriage rituals. Spotting a bottle in Manveer’s hand, Karishma snatches it and sends him away.
Back in the present, Karishma greets Bawridevi and rants that she hates Samrat for lying and threatening her. She accuses him of pretending to be a feminist and vows she would put him in jail if she could. Unsteady, she crowns herself and stumbles as Bawridevi scorns her, calling her shameless and “characterless.”
Karishma descends, places the crown on Kishmish, and taunts Samrat—claiming he thinks only of Kishmish and that her life was ruined because of him. She snatches the graha-pravesh plate from Champa, throws it on the ground, and begins scrawling on the floor with vermilion water. Bawridevi denounces her behavior.
Samrat drags Karishma to the bathroom and forces her under the shower, demanding why she ran away when he’d promised not to marry her. Karishma asks why she should trust him and accuses him of sending her photo to Brijpal. She tells him he’s like every other man in the village, swearing to destroy his life before storming off.
Recalling Brijpal’s advice to keep Karishma as his wife, Samrat returns, ties a black thread around her neck and warns she can’t handle his fierce side. Karishma insists all men are the same; as her pallu slips, Samrat moves closer and asks if she’s scared. She tries to slap him, he restrains her, and he warns her not to cross him. She throws on a towel and leaves.
Bawridevi scolds Samrat for bringing trouble home; he smirks and walks away. Later he meets Juhi, who tells him they can’t meet again but gives him a saree to give to Karishma. Manveer drinks while Champa laments how Samrat’s marriage has changed everything.
Samrat finds Karishma in their room—she’s divided the bed with a rope for safety. He calls her a drama queen and flops on his side, turning the lights off despite her protests. A blanket falls over them; Karishma grabs a knife and brandishes a hammer, vowing to snatch the light from Samrat’s life as he insists he won’t touch her without consent.
Precap: Kishmish expresses her wish for Karishma’s muh dikhayi ritual to take place, but Bawridevi objects. Samrat tells Kishmish to stay out of such matters. Kishmish questions him, asking since when he became so cold-hearted. Karishma watches and smiles at their exchange.
