Samrat confronts Champa, demanding to know where Kishmish is. When she feigns ignorance, he presents the bangle he found as proof. Champa continues to lie, prompting Samrat to warn that Bawridevi will force the truth from her. A terrified Ratan asks Champa who will protect them now.
Frantically searching, Samrat prays to God for Kishmish’s return, insisting neither can live without the other. He spots Vikram and gives chase, leading to a scene where Bawridevi and her men corner Vikram. Samrat discovers an unconscious Kishmish in an ice cream truck and rushes to her side. A furious Bawridevi slaps Vikram for disrupting their lives and vows to punish him.
The arrival of the District Magistrate shifts the dynamic. Vikram pleads for help in reclaiming his daughter, while Bawridevi accuses him of lying. Under pressure, both Champa and Ratan deny helping Vikram, instead accusing him of attempted kidnapping. When the Magistrate questions Vikram’s paternity, even Susheela lies, denying he is the father.
A desperate Vikram appeals directly to Samrat, who angrily retorts that after raising her all these years, no one can separate him from his sister. Vikram declares he will use the law. The District Magistrate then presses Samrat for the truth. Remembering his mother Sarla’s words, a heartbroken Samrat is forced to admit that Vikram is indeed Kishmish’s biological father.
The Magistrate rules that a father’s rights are paramount and orders Samrat to hand Kishmish over, threatening to arrest the entire family if they disobey. Later, as a police officer assures Vikram’s safe passage, Kishmish refuses to eat, asking for Samrat. Her condition suddenly worsens when Vikram, unaware of her allergies, gives her food she cannot eat. Samrat rushes to help, giving her water and sending a constable for medicine. He challenges Vikram’s ability to care for her when he knows nothing about her needs. Though Vikram promises to learn, Samrat is forcibly removed from the station, more determined than ever, vowing that just as he never lost to Bawridevi, he will not lose Kishmish to Vikram.
