Samrat brings Kishmish home, but Ratan tries to drag him out. Bawridevi slaps Ratan, ordering him not to interfere between Samrat and Kishmish. Ratan warns that their family will be ruined if Kishmish stays. Samrat, disheartened, says he doesn’t care who is right or wrong—only that Kishmish will never be accepted. He declares he will leave the village with Kishmish the next day, telling her this will be their last night there. Susheela follows him as he packs, questioning where he will live. Bawridevi intervenes, asking why Samrat should leave. Samrat replies that if the village rejects Kishmish, he too rejects the village, and she should think of him as lost.
The next morning, Susheela decides to go with them, and they pray before leaving. Samrat seeks Bawridevi’s blessings, and though she doesn’t stop him, she pleads for a chance to fulfill her promise. She organizes a pooja and has Kishmish sit with the priest. Just then, Champa urges Manveer to forget everything and return to school, but he refuses, fearing the students’ wrath if Kishmish is accepted.
Suddenly, villagers storm the house, sending the priest away. Ratan reveals he feared this outcome. The villagers accuse Bawridevi of once killing for reputation but now breaking village rules herself. As tensions rise, Samrat urges Kishmish to escape. She runs but begs him to follow. Samrat instead locks himself inside with her, telling Ratan to call the police. Outside, villagers seize Bawridevi and threaten Samrat, demanding Kishmish.
Bawridevi tells him not to come out, even as they manhandle her. A villager declares Samrat will lose Bawridevi while saving Kishmish. They strip off her dupatta and unbraid her hair as Samrat watches helplessly from the window, horrified at her humiliation.
