Raj didi warns Shashwat not to be swayed by Ishani’s fake tears, while Nandini insists they can’t waste time. Shashwat tells both Nandini and Ishani to wait in the car, and they leave. Yash urges Shashwat to deal with Ishani, blaming her for disturbing the family’s peace. Ankita suggests that Shashwat divorce Ishani since everyone is unhappy with her, but Shashwat says divorce isn’t the solution to every problem. He reminds Ankita that she is new to the family and doesn’t know everything before walking away.
Later, Yash goes to his room, and Ankita asks if marrying him was a mistake. Yash avoids the question, saying he is more worried about Pihu. Ankita, however, complains that as newlyweds they are focusing on others instead of themselves. Yash defends his concern for Pihu as his
When Ankita accuses him of not understanding, Yash tells her to leave if she regrets their marriage. Hurt, Ankita cries, and Yash apologizes, assuring her of his love and their need to focus on their relationship. Ankita agrees, saying they should not sacrifice their happiness for others and asks him to spend time romancing her instead of worrying about Pihu. Yash softens, admitting his protectiveness of Pihu comes from losing his mother, but finally hugs Ankita and promises not to lose her.
The next day, Anurag considers informing Shashwat about Pihu’s whereabouts. Pihu interrupts, asking if he slept well, but Anurag firmly tells her he is leaving for college and that the cook will arrive soon. Pihu insists she will stay with him forever, but Anurag calls it madness and says he may even go abroad to escape the situation.
Pihu refuses to leave and questions if his rejection is because of Ishani. Anurag dismisses her, saying he has no time for such things, but Pihu declares she will never forgive Ishani for breaking her trust and vows not to let Ishani separate her from Anurag.
Precap: Ishani informs the police inspector that Pihu was at Anurag’s house last night and expresses concern that he may have misbehaved with her. She urges the inspector to take action against him, prompting the inspector to head to Anurag’s place to arrest him.
