Bawridevi’s man reminds Samrat they are getting late for the flight. When Kishmish asks where he is going, Samrat lies that Bawridevi’s man is leaving with a friend. After buying vadapav, Kajol tells Samrat she should leave, and Samrat gives her money for taking care of Kishmish before taking the child to Vikram’s house.
Vikram grows emotional on seeing Kishmish and asks if she is fine, but she tells him to stay away. She insists Samrat came to take her with him. Vikram admits his carelessness cost Kishmish dearly and promises to keep her safe, but Kishmish refuses to stay with him. She complains about Khushboo and demands Samrat scold her parents. Samrat instead orders Kishmish to apologize, leaving her hurt. Kishmish runs inside, while Samrat feels helpless about scolding her.
Elsewhere, Bawridevi celebrates her supposed victory, instructing the maid to prepare Samrat’s favorite dishes. When Champa suggests Samrat might stay with Kishmish at Vikram’s house, Bawridevi scolds her. She calls Samrat and warns him about his promise, and he assures her he never breaks one. Just then, Kishmish asks Samrat to feed her, but he scolds her for disturbing his call and tells her to ask her parents instead. Vikram offers to feed her, but she refuses, pleading with Samrat to take her along. Samrat shows his flight ticket and insists she must live with her parents forever. In distress, Kishmish tears the ticket. Samrat raises his hand to slap her, but Vikram stops him.
Shocked, Kishmish runs inside crying, questioning why Samrat scolded her and wondering if she did something wrong. She speaks to his photo, asking if he really tried to hit her and how she will live without him when he claimed to be her parent. Exhausted, she falls asleep.
Meanwhile, Samrat breaks down, admitting he loves Kishmish deeply but doesn’t want to ruin her future. He goes to her room, apologizes softly, and says he is doing this for her well-being. Bawridevi’s man later informs her that Kishmish tore the ticket. Overhearing Samrat’s conversation with Vikram, Bawridevi learns he wants Kishmish to hate him so she can pursue a better future in the city, unlike what his village could offer. She orders him to return tomorrow.
Samrat then asks Vikram to promise that he will support Kishmish in fulfilling her dreams. Vikram agrees, though Khushboo reminds them that they lack the money needed to make it possible.
