During the Panchayat meeting, Dushyant’s mother, Girija, accuses Samrat of killing her son’s would-be wife and demands that he be imprisoned for life. Brijpal questions her, asking if she has considered what would happen to Karishma if Samrat were jailed. But Girija, filled with rage, declares that she doesn’t care—Samrat destroyed Dushyant’s life, and she will ensure he goes to jail.
Just then, Bawridevi arrives with Karishma and confronts Girija. She boldly asks who dared to speak of jailing Samrat and instead blames Karishma for the accident. Girija orders Bawridevi to stay silent, saying she has no status to speak before the Panchayat. Enraged, Bawridevi slaps Girija, shocking everyone present. She warns Girija never to insult her again. Meanwhile, Dushyant sits alone in his room, staring at Kishmish’s photo. His sister knocks on the door, worried, but he doesn’t respond. Lost in thought, Dushyant decides he must take charge of the situation himself.
Elsewhere, Kishmish tells Bawridevi that Samrat must face consequences too. But Brijpal intervenes, declaring it was an accident and announcing Samrat’s innocence. The villagers protest, accusing Brijpal of bias because Samrat is his son-in-law, and decide to report the matter to the police.
Karishma pleads with Girija not to punish Samrat. But Girija, still furious over Bawridevi’s slap and her loss, vows revenge. Karishma then suggests a solution that could end everyone’s suffering.
When the Panchayat reconvenes, Girija demands the right to decide the punishment since her future daughter-in-law died. She shocks everyone by proposing that Kishmish marry Dushyant, declaring she wants Kishmish as her new daughter-in-law. Kishmish is horrified at the thought, saying Dushyant is nearly her father’s age. Karishma, however, feels trapped and sees no other way to save her own marriage.
As Dushyant arrives, Bawridevi quietly tells Manveer that this proposal might free them from Kishmish for good. Kishmish protests that no one can force her to marry Dushyant. Brijpal decides to postpone the final verdict until further consideration.
Later, Kishmish tells Dushyant that their age gap makes marriage impossible. Dushyant replies that he doesn’t care about age as long as she is willing. Bawridevi takes Kishmish aside and emotionally reminds her that Samrat once married Karishma to save Kishmish’s life—so now Kishmish should consider marrying Dushyant for Samrat’s sake.
At the same time, Karishma confides in Brijpal that she was the one who gave this idea to Girija, then rushes to the hospital to see Samrat.
When the Panchayat resumes, Brijpal asks Dushyant if he agrees to marry Kishmish. Dushyant says he will only do so if Kishmish consents. Girija insists that only she will accept Kishmish as her daughter-in-law, so her opinion should not matter. Dushyant stands firm, saying Kishmish’s decision is final.
At the hospital, Samrat regains consciousness—the first word he utters is Kishmish’s name.
