Karan tries to take advantage of Karishma while she lies unconscious, but Samrat arrives in time and beats Karan brutally. Manveer, witnessing Samrat’s sudden appearance, gets shocked and quietly leaves. Infuriated, Samrat demands how Karan dared to lay a hand on his wife and continues thrashing him until Karan pleads forgiveness, promising to leave the city. Samrat then carries an unconscious Karishma home and gently places her on the bed. In her half-conscious state, Karishma murmurs that she is a married woman who only came to help him. Realizing Karan manipulated her faith and innocence, Samrat’s anger turns into helpless disappointment. Soon after, Kishmish arrives and asks if Karishma is alright, to which Samrat nods silently.
After a while, Karishma regains consciousness and feels disoriented, wondering how she returned home when she had last been at Karan’s house. Seeing bruises on her body, she mistakenly assumes that Samrat punished her for meeting Karan.
Meanwhile, Manveer contacts Karan to ask about the video. Karan replies that he will not allow Samrat and Karishma to face the villagers again. Manveer smirks and says this day of Karwachauth will be unforgettable for Karishma.
At home, preparations for the Karwachauth ritual proceed. Bawridevi notices everyone has gathered except Karishma. She informs Samrat that all arrangements are ready but Karishma hasn’t come down yet. Samrat calmly says Karishma might still be getting dressed and asks Kishmish to check on her. Suddenly, Karishma appears and lashes out, calling Samrat a cheap husband. Samrat tells Kishmish that Karishma will surely do something unexpected today.
Bawridevi instructs Karishma to stop glaring at her husband and join the other women for the ritual. But an enraged Karishma throws the puja plate on the ground, shocking everyone. Champa questions her, while Bawridevi asks if she’s lost her senses. Karishma angrily declares that Bawridevi doesn’t know what Samrat has done. Kishmish urges Samrat to tell Karishma the truth, but he remains composed and says he will talk to her later. Moments later, Samrat receives a video involving Karishma and Karan. Karishma demands that he confess what he’s hiding.
Simultaneously, Bawridevi receives a voice message from Karan and attempts to open the same video. Unable to do so, she asks Champa for help. Realizing the danger, Samrat snatches her phone and throws it away. Kishmish, however, retrieves it, but Samrat orders her to delete the clip immediately. Karishma, puzzled and furious, questions both of them. Kishmish insists that Samrat is trying to protect her. When Karishma attempts to seize the phone, it breaks in the struggle. Samrat, losing patience, drags her to their room and shows her the truth in the video.
Outside, Manveer smirks, knowing the scandal will soon explode. The video circulates among the villagers, causing uproar. Champa shows it to Bawridevi, and soon everyone starts gossiping and hurling insults at Karishma and Samrat. Despite Kishmish’s pleas for decency, the villagers walk away, mocking Bawridevi’s family. Disillusioned, Kishmish feels she misjudged Karishma’s maturity and concludes that she can never match Samrat’s integrity. Champa praises Manveer for his success, and Manveer declares this is only the beginning.
Back inside, the storm of realization hits Karishma—she had misunderstood Samrat completely. Overwhelmed with guilt, she breaks down in tears. Samrat, however, has reached his limit. He tells her he couldn’t save their marriage and forcefully removes her mangalsutra, saying she may continue living with him only as a roommate. He declares that while she cannot break the marriage, it now stands as nothing more than a punishment for her—and a compulsion for him.
