Recently, her marriage pictures with Shahnawaz Sheikh in an intimate ceremony went viral and people started trolling her for marrying a Muslim. They called her marriage ‘love jihad’ and started comparing it with Aftab Poonawala case.
Devoleena was slammed by netizens for sharing her pictures with husband Shahnawaz from their wedding. even her brother shared a cryptic post hinting at his disapproval of his sister’s wedding. Now, the former Bigg Boss contestant has retorted to public’s judgments on her marriage and future children.
While there were tweets from her well-wishers and die-hard fans wishing her a happy married life, there were some who were slamming her marriage as she had decided to marry a Muslim. They didn’t even shy away from competing it with the Aftab Poonawala case in their tweets.
One of the tweets read, “Good to know that your son will be a peace-loving creature which you highlighted yourself once. Ola hu Uber Leena BiBi.”
Devoleena replied in the comments section, “Ji bilkul khudko khush kismat samjhungi agar APJ #Abdulkalam sir jaise apne bete ko shiksha de paayee toh. Par aap apne jaise bilkul mat banaiyega. Ishwar apka bhala karein. #toxic”
A user shared pictures of the fridge and bag hinting at the Poonawala case and its proceedings, and commented “May you rest in fridge”, Devoleena hit back at him by tweeting in reply, “Arey arey kahin apko hi fridge mein naa fit kar dein aapke future wife & son milkar. I am sure yaad toh hoga hi zyada purani news nahi hai. But still i wish you all the best. #sickmind #toxic”
Further, the user commented “Hope u won’t block me, I haven’t used any unparliamentary language. Whatever Mam but u deserved better, I feel sorry for you.” Devoleena replied saying, “Dont worry, I won’t. Toxicity bhi zaroori hai to understand life more. Baaki toh apni apni zindagi aur apne apne Karam. Waqt Waqt ki baat hai bas. Khush rahiye and may you get what you deserve in life.”
Later Devoleena commented on another tweet which was later deleted by the user, Devoleena wrote “Whether my babies will be Hindu or Muslim aap kaun ? Aur itni jab apko baccho ko lekar chinta ho hi rahi hai bohot saare anaath ashrams hai, jaaiye adopt kijiye aur apne hisaab se dharm or naam decide kijiye. It seems that Devoleena is bothered about the trolling and is trying to reply to the users who are trolling her but these faceless trolls no bounds. We hope she finds happiness in her marriage.
