Devakshi ff# Mind & Heart# Chapter 5# Dev’s name ceremony
Dev wake up in morning at 5a.m & soon he reminds of last night..he thought to say thanks to sonakahi by giving her some gift..
soon he takes gift for her & moves to college..
here trio (sona,elena & vicky)also reaches college & sat on their respective seats.
soon dev arrives..
their 1st lecture is free.so they decide to talk about project.
quado moves toward C-Hall to discuss their project.
soon they start.
Sona:guys! i have an idea of making project on a.c generator..what say?
Dev:What?..on a.c generator!.(shockingly)
Sona:hmm..do u have any problem?
Dev: no,not at all..i was just shocked..bz mine idea is also same.
Sona:great!.so guys! r u ready for it?
trio:yes.
Dev:we’ll inform Pr.Joshi about it tmrrw.
trio: hmm..okk
Sona:so now let’s discuss other details.
quado is now busy in discussion about the project..than suddenly vicky got an urgent call & he leaves ..soon elena too leaves bz she has some work.
now dev & sona r alone in C-Hall..Dev find it as an opportunity to talk to Sona.
Dev:Sonakshi..actually i want to say thanku for yesterday night..it was just bz of u that i sleep peacefully & properly last night..
“So ,Thanku so much Sonakshi”
he says last line by bringing his present in front of Sona..which is basically a diary milk silk chocolate.
Sona:It’s all right Dev,u need not to be thankful..
Dev:Plz Sonakshi,don’t say like this & accept this..pointing toward chocolate.
Sona:i can’t accept it even if i wish.
Dev:but why?
Sona:bz i don’t like chocolates..
Dev:what?..u don’t like chocolates..
Sona:hmm.
Dev:but as far as i know normal girls love chocolates.
Sona:but i don’t..bz by eating any sweet my b.p rises..& i can’t handle it..so that’s why..(in a serious tone)
Dev:so this thing proves u r really a Anokhi..(jokingly)
Sona:Dev..(angerly)
Dev:its okk if u can’t accept my gift..atleast accept my thanku..
Sona:dev,i told u naa..that u does’nt need to be thankful..afterall u r my friend..& i love helping my friends..

Sona:what? i told u naa..to make it by ur own.
Dev:but u told now only that u r going to help me..now u can’t escape like this.

Dev:now nothing can be reversed..u urself want to help me..& now when i am asking for ur help..u r saying a clearcut no..so what was that..do u told lie that u love to help ur friends..
Sona:okk fine..i’ll help u.
Dev:ok..than done..from tmrrw onwards u r going to bring me notes of each & every lesson..
Sona:yes..yes..i know..i will bring it for u.
Dev:thanks..
Sona:u r absolutely Ajeeb( strange) Dev..u very well know naa..how to tick me..
Dev:i know it very well that i’m Ajeeb(strange)..(mockingly)
Sona:if u r done with ur praising urself..so lets continue with our discussion Mr.Ajeeb(strange)
Dev:as u say..Miss Anokhi..
(so here Sona gave Dev a name..’Ajeeb’..actually it is also a hindi word which means strange or different in english..)(do u guys notice that meaning of name Ajeeb & Anokhi is somewhat simliar..)
after finishing their discussion..they move to attend their remaining lectures & soon they r done with their college & r taking rest at their respective homes..
Next Day in college
quado inform the professor about their project idea & professor appreciate them..he told them to submit project on monday.
they all get shocked..bz that day is thursday & they have only one day for making their project bz saturday & sunday is off in college..
Vicky:what will we do now?..how will we make our project in one day?.
Dev:i have an idea.
trio:what?..say fast.
Dev:we can easily make our project if we work for sat & sunday.
Sona:Great!
Ele:but how?
Dev:we live in same city naa..so we all will get together at my home & continue our work from there..
Ele:but how can we?ur family is also there.
Dev:u don’t worry Elena..my father is in foreign these day..& i’m alone with my mother in my house.
Ele:r u sure that she will not have any trouble..if we work together.
Dev:yes Elena! i’m very sure..she would’nt get troubled…infact she is very supportive & open minded lady.
Vicky:so done..we will continue with our project from Dev’s home..
Quado:done..
so they all spent their thursday & friday in college in making project.
Saturday
Vicky,Elena & Sona reaches Dev’s home..
after a brief intro with Ishwari Garg (Dev’s Mother)..Dev took trio into his room & soon they all got engrossed in their work.
after some time Ishwari too reaches their with some juices & snacks..& offer them.
trio happily accepts her offer & thanked her.
Ishwari is very much happy after seeing Dev working happily with his friends..so she thought not to disturb them & leaves from dev’s room with a wide smile on her face..
soon quado r finished with their most of work..& now they r left with only some amount of work..which they decided to do tmrrw..
Trio bids good bye to Dev & thanked him..& moves toward their respective houses with the help of their own personal vehicles..
Next Day
Sunday
This time Sona reaches Dev’s home first..& there she meets with Ishwari first..
Sona:Good morning aunty ji..
Ishu: Good morning beta..
Sona:aunty ji..vo Ajeeb..sorry..vo..i mean Dev..where is he?
Ishu:I know u want to meet Dev..he is in his room..go there & meet him..
Sona:okay aunty ji..thanks
she goes upstairs & moves toward Dev’s room
She reaches there & got dumbstruck after seeing Dev in his Vest..she gets embarresed & immediately turns around.
Sona:vo..vo..sorry dev.
Dev who was now done with his exercise.. also sees Sonakshi & also get embarresed..& puts shirt on his body.
Dev: no sonakshi..its okk..u can turn
Sona(highly embarresed): how can..how can i..
Dev:i say naa…u can turn.
Sonakshi turns & sigh a relief after seeing Dev in his shirt..
Dev:u here..that too early.
Sona:vo..actually..i come nearby ur house for some work..my work completes soon..so i thought to come here.
Dev:It’s okk..u can sit here..i’will come after some time..
Sona:okk..i’ll wait.
Soon Dev gets out of room..bz he have to take bath…
Sona sat there quietly & is looking here & there in Dev’s room..out of sheer curiousity..
Soon Elena & Vicky also reaches there..& joins Dev & Sona.
within no time they r done with their work..they did’nt even thought that their work will finish so soon.
so trio decides to leave but Dev stops them by asking for a haunted movie..
Elena & Vicky who already starts liking eo..wants to spend some more time with eo..so they immediately agress..
but our Sona,whom in her whole life time had’nt watch any haunted movie bz she was afraid from ghosts..reluctants..
Ele:Sona yaar..say yes naa.
Sona:no elena,i think i should leave now..my mom will be waiting..(in a afraiding tone)
Ele:but..
Sona:no,i say naa no.
But Dev who has sensed the fear in Sona’s voice..tries to tease her.
Dev:see guys..i think Anokhi is afraid of ghosts..so it’s better if she leave..otherwise ghost will haunt her.(teasingly)
Sona:look Ajeeb..who says i’m afraid from ghosts..i just want to go home bz my mother is waiting for me..(tries to defend herself..as she can’t loose in front of Dev)
Dev: than see movie with us..than we will agree that u r not afraid from ghosts..
Sona:no!
Dev:it means u r afraid..
Sona: no,i’m not…i will watch movie with u guys..(tries to show her bravery but inside she is very afraid)
