I am so sorry guys for being this much late. But I was really very busy and along with that my stupid laptop got non-functional. It’s been more than a month I posted the last chapter, so I will give a summary and will try to be regular.
Summary: It starts from Dev locking Sona in office. However, Sona got out setting fire and put new lock. Next day, they confronted each other while Sona gave Dev new key. Tina joined Dev’s office after 5 years. One day police and income tax department raided Dev’s office and accused him for illegal business. Sona confessed of giving police the tip. Tina saved Dev. Dev and Sona confronted each other. Dev thinks it as Sona’s plan. Next day, Ishwari met Sona and tried to offer her money to make Sona leave Dev’s office. Radharani also joined Ishwari.
But Sona ignored them and left from there making both numb. Days passed and Dev got sure someone is related to the scam. One day, while picking Golu, Dev saw a little girl and felt attraction. Golu informed him that she is Suhana, with whom he used to fight but now they became friends as Suhana helped him. However, Sona came in school and Suhana ran to her calling ‘mumma’. Dev realised Suhana to be his daughter. Golu and Suhana introduced each other with Dev and Sona respectively. Dev tried to talk with Soha but forbid him calling her as ‘Soha’ and asked him to call her ‘Miss Bose’. After reaching home, Sona told Soha Dev being her Papa and introduced whole Dixit family through photos. Sona asked Soha to call Dev papa and to meet Dixit family if she wants.
Here, is today’s episode.
Soha listens Sona carefully. Then she says “Mumma, I will meet papa but what if papa asks me to go his tomorrow?”
Sona smiles at her daughter’s question and says “If you feel like meeting them tomorrow, you can but if you feel that you should meet them afterwards, you will meet them whenever you want. I myself will take you to them.” Sona pauses “You are free to do whatever you want.”
Soha nods and hugs Sona tightly.
For Soha, she is too little to understand her parent’s complicated relationship. She knew about her father and she is sure that he is a good person. Each and every word told by her mother had been fitted in her brain very well. Moreover, she had seen Golu’s big cha being good with other students, especially Golu; though she herself never talked with him. Above all, she knows that her mumma never lies. He rmumma will never ask her to do anything wrong and will never send her to wrong person. Though she is just a kid but all she knows that her mumma is perfect and she loves her Soha more than anything.
At this time, Soha sees two people standing in gate and she gets delighted seeing them.
Soha rushes towards them and shouts happily “Sourav Mamu…Boro dida…you came?”
(Actually in Bengali, we call nani as dida; and dadi as thakurmaa..though Bijoy’s mother should be called boro thakurmaa but as the show in basically in hindi, so I referred her as borodida; boro means elder here;to give the Bengali touch.)
Her shout makes everyone turn towards Sourav and Dadi; and they all goes towards them and hugs them.
They all spend quality time. After that Sona takes Soha along with her to make her sleep. Meanwhile, Bijoy tells Dadi and Sourav about Sona’s decision to make Soha introduce Dev and his family. Dadi and Sourav supports Sona saying Sona may have taken her decision after thinking everything, so they shouldn’t worry.
Here, in Dixit House, Dev says everyone about Soha. Everybody gets very happy, especially Ishwari. Dev promises them to take
Soha home.
Next day, Dev awaits Suhana outside schools. Golu comes first. Dev lies him about his meeting and sends him with driver. After sometime, Dev notices Suhana coming out.
Dev lovingly looks at his daughter. His vision gets blurred because of tears of joy. He feels so blessed to see his little princess in front of his eyes which remained like an unfulfilled dream from years.
As Soha comes near him, Dev greets her with trembling voice “Hi, Soha..sorry Miss Bose.”
Soha happily greets him “Hello.”
Dev thinks to say everything to Soha, so starts “Miss Bose, you don’t know me; I’m Dev Dixit; Golu’s big cha.”
Soha says “I know you..”
Dev interrupts her “Let’s become friend then.” And he forwards his hand.
Soha holds his hand and says “Okay, friends. But..”
Dev happily says “Then, say me about you something. I mean your family, your maa, your papa…”
Soha surprisingly looks at Dev but understands that Dev wants to know if she knows about him or not.
She happily says “I’m Suhana Bose and my mumma is Dr. Sonakshi Bose. My…”
Dev gets impatient and says “Do you know who is your father???”
Soha- Yeah, I know about my father. His name is Dev Dixit. And she pauses.
Dev looks at his surprisingly. According to him, Soha shouldn’t be aware about him; that’s why he was trying to say her about himself. But Soha’s next words make Dev dumbfounded.
Soha – And I know that you are my papa.
Dev gets so happy that he hugs his daughter tightly.
Dev (anxiously) – But how do you know about me, my little princess?
Soha- Mumma told me.
Dev- Princess, I’m so happy to meet you. I want to spend time with you. But, all these happened all of a sudden; so everything will happen according to your wish only.
Soha- I also want to spend time with you. Mumma told me that I should spend time with you.
Dev gets very happy hearing Soha and says “So, come with me to my house, your new house. You will meet everyone; your dadi, dadu and others.”
Soha’s face gets dull. Dev gets perplexed seeing Soha.
Soha hesitantly says “Papa, I will go but not today please. I will go later. At first, I want to spend time with you.”
Dev gets disheartened but keeps quite seeing his daughter.
Dev smilingly says “As you wish, Ms. Bose.”
Soha suddenly remembers something and says “Sorry Papa; yesterday when you called me Soha, I asked you not to call me Soha. I didn’t know you. But I did mistake and mumma says that we should say sorry when we does mistake. I did mistake, so I’m sorry.”
Dev looks at his little princess with amused expression. He was trying to interrupt Soha when she was saying sorry. But she didn’t give him a single chance to say anything.
She is indeed little khargosh. He recalled how he asked Sona to have a little khargosh in their life. He felt so happy.
But, Sona’s betrayal again hits him. From yesterday, one thing was disturbing him continuously; that is how Sona can hide such big news from him, even after knowing that how much eager he was to have his little khargosh.
But, he decides not to fetch Soha in between all these. He is all ready to confront Sona.
Dev talks with Soha some more time and after a while Soha leaves in her car. Dev leaves for his house with a big smile on his face. But, there is a pinch of sadness in his face. Though Soha came as bliss in his life, but the thought of Sona’s betrayal keeps haunting him again and again.
On the other side, Golu while returning home feels like having ice cream. So, he asks driver to buy ice cream for him.
As the driver was taking time, Golu feels bored and gets out of the car. He starts searching the driver without realising that he has reached in the middle of the road.
Suddenly, he hears horn of a car and turns back only to find that a car is approaching him with speed. Being a kid, he gets scared and closes his eyes tightly.
After a second he feels a strong pull. But due to fear, he couldn’t open his eyes. Though he realises someone is caressing his head. He opens his eyes feeling safe.
He finds a lady in front of him sitting on her knees and she softly says him “Golu, what were you doing in middle of the road, it’s not safe. What if that car would have hit you? Don’t do it again, okay.”
Golu remembers her to be Suhana’s mumma and says cutely- You are Soha’s mumma, isn’t you???”
Sona nods her head smiling.
Golu- Woh, actually I was finding driver uncle and I didn’t realise that I came in middle road. Sorry.
Sona smiles and says- It’s okay Golu. But don’t repeat it again.
Golu nods his head happily.
Sona forwards her hand and says “Friends??”
Golu instantly grabs her hand and exclaims joyfully “Yeah..friends. And I will call you friend only. Okay.”
Sona pulls his cheeks and says “Okay, Mr. Cute.”
Golu frowns hearing cute and says “I’m a big boy and big boys aren’t cute. So, don’t call me cute.”
Sona couldn’t help but laughs “You are a big boy; so I will call you Mr. Handsome. Ok.”
Golu gets very happy and in between the talks, Sona takes Golu back to his car. Meanwhile the driver also comes back and Golu leaves.
Sona gets Dev’s call and receives it. She doesn’t give Dev any chance to speak just says “8 pm; at my office.” And cuts the call.
Dev enters home angrily as he was angry with the way of Sona’s talking. Ishwari looks at Dev and asks about Suhana.
While Dev answers that Suhana isn’t fully ready so he decided to give her time. He promised that he will take Soha home soon and leaves saying he has more important work.
He goes to office and waits for Sona. Soon, everyone leaves. But Dev finds none in Sona’s cabin. Dev thinks Sona is avoiding him. However, Sona reaches office and Dev looks at her.
Dev furiously enters Sona’s cabin and shouts “How could you Dr. Sonakshi Bose? How could you? You kept me away from my daughter from seven years. What so you think of yourself?”
Sona calmly says “Soha’s mumma.”
Dev is taken aback hearing Sona’s answer.
Dev angrily says “She is my daughter also. You have no right to keep her with you.”
“Dev is saying right, Sonakshi. How can you keep my poti away from my son?” A voice came from behind.
Dev turns only to find his mother behind him.
Ishwari comes forward and stands beside Dev. Sona looks at Ishwari plainly as she has already expected Ishwari’s interference like always.
Sona plainly says “I don’t think I did anything wrong Mrs. Dixit. But, as you say, I know that Soha is Dev’s daughter also and I will never restrict Soha to meet Dev. But, the thing is it was never my responsibility to inform you about Soha. As, according to Indian law, if a child is born after divorce, then the parental right goes to mother itself. And moreover, if you remember, you only added a clause in Pre-nup paper that if we get divorced then the I will have to take child’s responsibility. Isn’t it, Mrs. Dixit?”
Dev and Ishwari look at Sona shockingly. Ishwari recalls the conditions she made in pre-nup and curses her in her mind.
Dev looks at Ishwari angrily, realising she made another blunder which resulted in keeping him away from his daughter.
Sona again says “But for your information, I send you few massages Dev, saying that I have to tell you something important and I want to talk to personally. I called you also, but whoever attended my call, asked me not to call back ever again and I got the same answer from your office also.”
Ishwari again gets shocked. She recalls how 7 years ago, she attended the call of Sona, and hearing her voice, she asked a servant to say her that Dev gave strict orders to everyone, not to attend any call from someone named Sonakshi Bose. On Radharani’s advice, she also asked Vicky to tell the same to Dev’s PA as by then Dev stopped going office regularly and Dev told his PA to forward only important massages to him.
Ishwari again curses herself thinking how big mistake she committed. Now, her own mistakes have become the biggest hurdle for her own dream.
However, Dev denies to believe Sona. But Sona asks him to confirm from his mother as Sona has already seen Ishwari shocked hearing Sona. So, she understood, it was Ishwari who did the all these.
Dev looks at Ishwari only to find her looking down, bowing her head. Dev realises that Sona is saying the truth.
Dev feels so broken; he again feels betrayed by his own family. Sona looks at Dev and somewhere she feels sad but quickly arranges her face.
Sona calmly says “Listen, Dev, I will never stop Soha from meeting you. I have no problem with that. But, let me tell you one thing, if you or anyone from your family put unnecessary pressure on Soha, I will make sure that meeting will be last for you all. Soha is a kid, so don’t even try to pressurize her. When Soha will want to go your house, I will myself take her there. Soha will do whatever she wants. I will never berate her from doing anything and neither I will let anyone interfere in her decision.”
Dev looks on where as Ishwari tries to intervene but Dev stops her from doing any more stupid act and goes from there taking Ishwari along with him.
Dev and Ishwari reaches home and Ishwari tries to talk to Dev but Dev asks her not to interfere in Soha’s matter. Soha shouldn’t be put in pressure.
Ishwari tries to say something more but Dev leaves from there. When Ishwari says everything too mamaji, he also asks Ishwari to have patience.
When mamaji leaves, Radharani tries to poke Ishwari against Sona and starts “Aree.jiji..you are so good. How will aap understanding that bangalen’s palan?? She..she is teraing(trying) to chinna our Soha…haan..like she chin liya dev ko aap se.”
Ishwari thinks about Radharani’s words and starts thinking the same.
However, two three days passes like this.
Every day, Dev meets Soha in her school or activity classes. Sona neither berates Soha from meeting Dev nor berates Dev to meet Soha.
Dev starts coming closure to Soha and he realises one thing clearly that Soha is a replica of Sona. She loves Sona more than anyone. In one word, Sona is her world.
Dev tries hard to make Soha feel more special than Sona makes her feel. But, he finds it very hard.
But, being Dev Dixit, he keeps one thing in his mind that Sona purposely didn’t let Soha meet him. He concluded that Sona didn’t try enough to make him meet Soha. Moreover, Ishwari’s word’s on Sona’s desire to keep Soha away from him, somehow makes his mind against Sona.
Dev thought that Ishwari was right that being father, he doesn’t need any permission for meeting Soha. It’s his right to have his daughter with him. And the desire of having Soha in his life makes him forget that he is unknowingly creating a mess again.
In these days, Soha agrees to go Dev’s house. Dev gets very happy. Dev and Ishwari prepare a lot for her welcome. But, Mamiji and Vicky get disappointed with the happening.
Ex-gkb thought that instigating Ishwari against Sona, she can indirectly creat a wall between Soha and Dev, as Sona will not tolerate any fuss regarding Soha’s matter. But all her plan fails as even after Ishwari’s constant interference, Sona didn’t stop Soha.
After three days, Soha goes Dixit Mansion to meet everyone. Everyone welcomes her warm heartesly.
Dev takes Soha to Golu and says “Golu, I told you na that I have a surprise for you. So, this is your surprise.”
Golu gets confused and says innocently “But Big cha, I know Suhana. What is the surprise in it?”
Dev smiles and joyfully says “Golu, she is not only your friend but your sister also. Soha is my daughter.”
Golu surprisingly looks at Soha then gets very happy; and hugs her instantly.
Soha also hugs him tightly.
Golu then asks Soha “Suhana, why didn’t you say it in school? You should have say it to me earlier na?”
Dev says “I only asked Soha not to tell you anything. Because, I thought to give my junior a surprise.”
Golu happily hugs Dev and thanks him.
Then he realises something and says “So, friend is my big chi.”
Dev confusingly looks at Golu and asks him what he is talking about.
Golu then says about his meeting with Sona at road and Sona saving him. He also tells that he meets Sona in school in these days and Sona also saves him from falling from stairs in school yesterday.
Dev and all get surprised hearing that.
Golu further says “You know Big cha, yesterday, when I got a scratch, I was not letting teacher apply ointment. It burns more. But then friend asked them not to put it as I didn’t like it. Then, friend started talking with me asking my likes and dislikes. And when I was saying all those, friends applied ointment. I didn’t even realise also. I didn’t feel the pain. Friend is so cool, Big cha.”
Dev looks at Golu surprised while Soha says “Yes Golu, my mumma is the best.”
Dev and Ishwari smile half heartedly but Dev feels happy listening Sona saving Golu.
Ishwari asks Soha about her feeling about meeting everyone. Soha happily says she is feeling good.
Ishwari disheartenedly says “If wewould have known about you earlier then we could have meet you early. Did you not ask your mumma about your papa?”
Soha innocently says “No, dadi. But mumma told me about papa being Dev Dixit.”
Ishwari gets little shocked but says “So, your mumma may not have said about your papa properly”
Soha again says firmly “No, dadi, mumma said that my papa is a good man and she mumma also told me that I can meet my papa whenever I want. I also knew that papa lives in Delhi.”
Ishwari asks “Did you not want to meet your papa?”
Soha innocently says “Actually, I thought that when papa couldn’t keep mumma happy then, how will he take care of me? My mumma never lies.”
Dev and Ishwari look at Soha shockingly. Though it was a very simple question but both of them find it difficult to answer. Because, deep down their heart, both knew it well that Sonakshi had least fault in separation.
Dev diverts the topic and starts talking with Soha else.
But Ishwari thinks that Sona knowingly did all these so that Soha doesn’t come near Dev.
However, the day passes like this and Soha enjoys with Dixits. Later, Sona comes to take Soha back but waits outside the mansion.
Dev notices Sona from balcony and goes to her.
He says “Come in Ms. Bose, it was your home also, come in.”
Sona uninterestedly says “Mr. Dixit, I’m not interested to fight with you unnecessarily. So, please, stop being kiddish.”
Dev smirks “I’m not that kiddish Ms. Bose. At least, spend some time with your daughter. Who knows what will happen in future?”
Sona glares at Dev but doesn’t say anything.
Dev smirks again and says “Ms. Bose, you know what you did really wrong by keeping my daughter away from me in these years. If you have really wanted Ms. Bose, then you could have told me. But, the truth is you really not tried your best. You just showed Ms. Bose. And I will make sure that Soha’s misconception about you being truthful breaks.”
Sona looks at Dev angrily and says “Look Dev, I said you earlier and I’m saying you again, don’t put unnecessary pressure on Soha with your kiddish attitude. I don’t have any problem if Soha keeps any contact with you. But, if for your stupid thinking, you or your family play with her emotion, I will not leave you. Keep it your mind.”
This time, Golu shouts “Friend” and rushes to Sona.
Sona smiles and shakes hand with Golu and says “How are you, Mr. Handsome?”
“I’m very good, friend.” Golu answers joyfully then says “But friend, why did you not tell me that you are my big chi?”
Sona feels little uncomfortable but smiles “That was a surprise for you, isn’t it? And call me friend only. Okay.”
Golu smiles and says “But you are my friend. So, you should have have told me.” Saying this Golu pouts cutely.
Sona pulls his cheek and says “Sorry, but for next ime, I will say everything to you first,”
Golu happily nods his head. While Radharani and others look at Sona and Golu shockingly.
Because, apart from Dev and Elena, Goly never let anyone pull his cheeks. He dislikes it very much. But, he didn’t eve protest when Sona pulled his cheeks.
Soha comes running to Sona and hugs her and says “I missed you, mumma.”
Sona pouts and says “I missed you too.”
Dev looks at Sona lovingly. He gets lost seeing Sona smiling and talking with Soha freely. After meeting Sona seven years later, he didn’t see Sona smilingly whole heartedly. But, today, for the first time, he notices old Sona while she is talking with kids. He unknowingly admires Sona. Tears start forming in his eyes seeing his Sona.
However, Soha’s “Bye Papa” brings him back in his world. He smiles and waves his hands. Elena looks at Sona teary eyed. Only she knows how much she missed Sona’s pampers in these years. Soha waves her hand saying “Bye bye Ms. Beautiful.”
Elena also does the same and looks at Sona. Sona doesn’t say anything just bends her head a little and takes Soha along with her.
