SONAKSHI’S HOUSE,
Sonakshi and Dev both are sitting on side sofa next to each other.
Bijoy: Its been long time…
The last time Bose’s saw Dev was when Sonakshi left her job and Dev came to drop her….
Dev nods nervously…..
Sonakshi: baba…I was telling you….
Asha: Sona !….Dev babu aaye hain(Dev Babu is here) we will talk about this later….
The family felt awkward to discuss their daughter’s marriage in-front of her former boss basically nobody…but they just don’t know their daughter wants to marry that nobody but everything for her !
Dev: no ! no ! please carry on….
Bijoy: you know sona from long time now…you tell me….is this a right age for her to get married…she hasn’t grown up well yet !
Dev looks lovingly to Sonakshi as if he knows how well she has grown from girl into lady and definitely from his mother’s nutritionist to his lady love
Dev(cheesy ! pointing towards sonakshi): so you want to get married…
Saurabh coughs ahem ! ahem !
Dev(towards Mr. Bose): hmm…Ms. Bose is very nice girl… independent…. educated… beautiful(devakshi have an eye look as he says this)… smart….sometimes(sonakshi looks on)….i wanted to tell you that….I want……to………tell you that ms.bose is amazing doctor.
And whole family obliges to him…
But would be Mrs. Dixit not…
Oh poor Dev ! he just can’t say that….for him it was much easier to tell sonakshi that he loves her…even telling his mother was not as difficult…… but this time it is….He have no past experience of telling girl’s parents that he love their daughter and want to plan his kids with her
Asha : I will get you something…
Sonakshi takes Dev aside…
Sonakshi: what are you doing…when are you going to tell them…seedhe seedhe bolo(say it straight)…
Dev: seedhe-seedhe ?(straight)……kya chahti ho ?….aapke baba aapke dada ke cricket bat se maar-maar ke mujhe bahar nikal de(what you want?….your dad will kick me out by your brother’s cricket bat)…
Sonakshi: nhi kiya toh main marungi(If not then I will beat you)…
Ek taraf kuan dusri taraf khayi
Beech mein phass gaye Dev bhai
(Well on one side and ditch on the other
And Dev hanging in between)
Asha comes back with some snacks..
Bijoy: waise ! Mr. Dixit…if you don’t mind…..you too are on the age of getting married….what are your plans…
Plans !! What a…question !…. Well ! Marrying your daughter in a month just for your sake otherwise I want to marry her right now……… and then honeymoon for 3 months or may be for rest of my life…morning to night loving her….and if time left I will work at office… this was the thing dev had in his mind….but can’t say….. doesn’t suits him infront of them !! Poor Dev !
Sonakshi looks at him….and realizes dev just can’t intiate !
Dev: ahem !
Sonakshi: Baba- maa…..Mr. Dixit…
Dev: Ms. Bose
Sonakshi: Dev..
Dev: Sonakshi
Sonakshi: We are in love
Dev: and want to get married…
This time it wasn’t an earthquake but probably a landslide…
They looked at them like they just murdered someone with a needle and came running escaping the police…
Sonakshi: Maa-Baba !
Bijoy: We need time to think over this….
Dev: I think I should leave now…
The scene shifted from hilarious to dramatic and now romantic
Sonakshi comes out of her house to leave dev
Dev looks at her and try to lighten her mood…
Dev hugs her tightly…
Dev: they will agree..
They break the hug but his hands are still on her waist….
Sonakshi: if not…
Dev: tumhe bhaga lunga(I will make you run away)…
Sonakshi: aapki Sedan mein(in your Sedan)…
Dev nods cutely……it’s a Mercedes
And they smiles lovingly…and hugs again…
They bids good bye to each other…
Why they do need to…..ohk ! ohk !soon will be those days when they don’t have to..
ASHA- BIJOY’S ROOM,
Bijoy: you knew it…
Asha: not actually…but I had idea that sona loves someone…
Bijoy: There is a big status difference between us and Dev Babu…
Asha: Bijoy !….love have bought them together…..that is more than anything !
Bijoy: we are her parents….we has to look for everything!
And with lot more discussion they finally decides………to sleep!
SONAKSHI’S HOUSE,
Morning 4:30!
Sonakshi‘s phone rings !
Sonakshi(in full sleepy mode): Hello !
Dev: Come out….
Sonakshi: why you love this time so much…..to propose….to romance…..to surprise !
Dev: Come out sonakshi !
Sonakshi comes out…
Sonakshi : whats going on in your mind…
Sonakshi looks at with all flirty eyes…and moves toward him…
Dev holds her
Dev: nothing wrong…. I have a surprise for you…..come sit in the car…
Sonakshi and dev reaches in front of a building…
Sonakshi: why we are here…..
Dev forwards his hand to her….take her out of the car and took her infront of the building.
Dev: this is what I have for you….
Sonakshi looks at him confused.
Dev: tumhara sapna(your dream)….ab sirf tumahra nhi(is not yours only from now)…… humara hai(its ours)…..the building of your hospital…Dr.Sonakshi Dev Dixit !…I mean would be (Aww…how lovingly he must have said)
And I can’t express you how happy her heart was…..her face smiled….. her eyes cried and she jumped over him….
Dev: ab koi rona-dhona nhi….ab sirf khushi…..Humari khushi !(no more tears….only happiness…our happiness)
They moved into the building…Dev shows her cabin…
And makes her sit on the revolving chair….Everything was beautiful not because it had décor…good interiors …but they were together ….that made it beautiful…..
They left that place and now at Sonakshi’s house….
Sonakshi: Dev ! ….I can’t tell you…..how happy I am……not because of the hospital only… but because of you….those days were the hardest when you were not around….
Dev: wo din chale gye…..aur ab kabhi nhi aayenge !!(those days are gone….and will never return back….)
Sonakshi-Dev get lost in each other’s eyes…..
Sonakshi: Its late…. you should go….before anyone starts searching you…..
Dev: few days…..after that I don’t need to drive here to meet you….you will be right next to me…
Sonakshi giggles and hugs him to bid good bye !

As Sonakshi enters….. the clock stuck 7 am
She found everyone up…and then she remembers what the topic of last night…was
Sonakshi: Maa-Baba !….mein aur Dev ek dusre ko kafi waqt se jante hain….jab mile the toh humesa ladte the…fir dosti hui….aur fir….yeh baby love nhi hai…
(mom-dad !….me and dev know each other from long time….when we met…we used fight always…then we became friends….and then…this is not baby love…)
we are very serious…I always prayed for someone….someone who make me feel special…when he is around I feel I am living…I can feel every breath…every moment I am alive….it is hard to imagine my life without him now…I didn’t know prayers worked so well…getting him as part of my life is the best thing ever happened to me…
(And then she realizes that they are her parents….get sophisticated girl !)
I mean it’s all your decision ….I just wanted to make my point….
DEV HOUSE,
Its morning,
On the Dining Table for breakfast…
Ishwari: hun! Dev! Sonakshi ne apne mata-pita se baat karli… (Yah! Dev! Sonakshi talked to her parents….)
Dev remembers what they have done yesterday…
Dev: hain maa… (Yes mom!)
Ishwari: toh hum ja kar sagai ki tareek tay kar dein…(so we should go and fix engagement date….)
Nikki: BHAI KI SHAADI!…I am so excited….mein na CP se wo georgette pink color ka lehnga lungi(I will buy georgette pink color lehnga from CP)….
Dev smiles on it….
Dev: jo lena hai le le….maa! Hum thoda ruk jate hain…(buy whatever you want to…..mom ! can we wait a bit more…..)
Neha: kyun?…..yeh girlfriend-boyfriend ka staus aur kitne din rakhna hai…!(why?…how long you want to keep this girlfriend –boyfriend status)
Dev shies on this and why not….this is the first ever time in history….his sisters are teasing him on his love-story! New to him!
Dev didn’t reply….and excuses himself from the conversation!
Oh! My dear Neha….Dev can’t tell you….but I can…. how desperate he is to change it….make it husband and wife….to get her in the house…in his room…in his life for forever!
