********** Episode 6 *********
“I think that’s enough…”, a voice from the doorstep makes Swara and Sahil turn towards the owner of the voice…
The cup falls off from Sahil’s hand and he stutters…
Sahil: It’s… It’s… Impossible… S… S
Swara: (smiles) Sanky…!!
Sanky smiles and enters the kitchen…
Sanky: (wraps his arm around Swara’s waist) There you are… I have been searching for you all over…!!
Sahil: (still shocked) You… You… Can’t be Sanky…
Sanky: (looks at him and frowns) And why not..??
Swara: Take a good look Sahil… He is Sanky… My Sanky…!! (she smiles and keeps her hand on Sanky’s palm which is resting on her waist… Sanky goes numb under her touch but soon calms himself and turns to Sahil)
Sanky: (giving a confused look) But why do I feel like you are not happy seeing me here..!!
Sahil: Swara… do you really believe him…?? He can’t be Shlok…!!
Swara: Enough Sahil…!! I don’t think so that I need to prove that he is Shlok… If you have what you want then you can leave…!!
Sahil glares at Sanky and leaves stomping his foot…
Swara: (to Sanky) I’m going to room… call me if you need anything…!!
Sanky nods his head and Swara leaves…

Sanky goes to the main hall and finds Sahil leaving along with his father… Sahil sees Sanky standing near a pillar…
Sahil: Papa… you go… I’ll come in a minute…!!
Mr. Sen Gupta: Where are you going…??
Sahil: Just a minute…
He runs back inside and stands in front of Sanky…
Sahil: Afraid…??
Sanky: Excuse me…!!
Sahil: I know that you are not Sanky… You can never be… He is dead… He can never come back…!!
Sanky: And how you could you be sure…??
Sahil: (a bit angered) Because I… (stops leaving the sentence incomplete) Never mind…!! I just know that you are not Shlok…!!
Sanky: Good for you…!!
Sahil: And I’ll prove it to Swara…!!
Sanky: Go ahead…!!
Sahil: Look… I don’t know who are you… But why are you here…?? (holds Sanky’s collar) You are not even her husband then why do you even bother about her…!!
Sanky: (holds Sahil’s hand and jerks it) Because she is my responsibility…!! My first priority right now…!!
Sahil: Don’t you dare mess with me…!!
Sanky: Same to you…!! Now I think you should leave… Your father must be waiting…!!
Sahil leaves from there angrily… Just then Ap comes…
Ap: What was he saying…??
Sanky: Nothing just threatening me…!!
Ap: But you handled him well…!!
Sanky: But we need to do something soon… I mean you all can’t hide me like this… What if someone sees me… That Sahil is so adamant and keeps on saying that I’m not Shlok… What if everyone says the same thing…?? What if Swara believes in what everyone is saying…??
Ap: Just relax… We will sort this out…!!
Sanky: But what are we going to say…??
Dp: (says entering the conversation) Let’s just say that when you returned from USA you met with an accident and you suffered with partial amnesia… and you have forgotten your recent past…!! You were in coma all this while and you came back as soon as you got your conscious back…!!
Sanky: And everyone will believe it just like that… Is that so easy…??
Dp: Why not… Technically no one has seen him dead… (takes a deep breath) I mean he left us the day he came back from USA… and before anyone could meet him he was gone forever…!!
Sanky: What…?? But how’s this possible…!!
Ap: (starts sobbing silently) His body was never found…!! The only thing we found there was his watch in Swara’s hand while she was lying unconscious near the cliff…!!
Sanky: And you believed that he was dead… What if he is not…?? What if he is somewhere out there…??
Dp: (calmly but anger and frustration is clearly visible in his voice) What do you think…?? I never searched for him… Day and night I kept searching for him… Several search parties went out there to find him… But we couldn’t find anything…!! Soon everyone gave up… But we still had our hopes up until…
Ap: Until the day Sahil came and told us that he had found a few things from a hospital from an abandoned dead body… The dead body was already cremated and the things…
Dp: They were of Shlok…!! That day we realized that our son will never come back…!!
Sanky: But… I don’t get this… How’s this possible…?? Everything looks so complicated… Looks like that someone never wanted you all to find Shlok… This all looks so made up… nothing natural….!!
Dp: But we had no sense left at that time to reason anything…!! All we knew that we had lost our son…!!
Sanky: I’m sorry… Sorry for whatever happened… (he fails to fin words to comfort the broken parents) I think you should go and take rest… I’ll go and check on Swara…!!
Ap: And look if she gets any panic attacks… give her the medicine… It’s always kept in the drawer near her bed… That’s the only thing that can calm her at that time…!!
Sanky nods and leaves for his room…

Sanky enters his room and finds Swara sleeping…
Sanky: She is sleeping…?? At 11 am in the morning…??
He smiles seeing her and then starts settling his things in the room… It has hardly been an hour when he hears some sounds… He looks at Swara and finds her sweating heavily… her breathing uneven… He goes near her and is about to touch her forehead when Swara grabs his hand…
Swara: Don’t… Don’t worry Sanky… I… I… won’t leave you…!! I’m there naa… nothing will happen…!! (then he words become inaudible… she gets more and more restless with each passing minute)
Sanky: (gets worried and tries to wake her up) Swara… Swara…!!
Just then Swara gets up with a jerk shouting Sanky’s name… She finds it hard to breath… She starts crying… Sanky holds her shoulders and jerks her… Swara’s eyes lands on Sanky… He moves to go near the drawer but the next moment she hugs him tightly…
Swara: (passing her fingers through his hair) Sanky… You are fine… I’m sorry… I’m sorry… I tried… I tried my level best… but… but…
Sanky: (hugs her back and starts stroking her back softly with his palm) Shhh… Swara… it’s okay… Everything is okay… I’m fine… Nothing to worry about…!!
Sanky hugs her more tightly… Swara holds his shirt and keeps her head on his chest… Soon her breathing gets even… Sanky could feel her warm breath near his chest and the crook of his neck… He gets a different sensation… a feeling… Something he has never felt in his entire life… His heart feels at peace seeing her back to her normal self…
Sanky: Swara…!! (no reply) Swara…!!
He looks at her and finds her fast asleep in his embrace… he smiles and makes her lie on the bed… He is about to get up from the bed when Swara holds his hand and entangles her fingers with his… A chill passes through Sanky’s body but he shrugs all the feelings… He tries to get free from her hold but she tightens her hold and keeps her head on their entwined palms… Sanky realizes that if he would move it might break her sleep… He takes a deep breath and sits near her head resting his back on his bedpost…

At Gupta’s mansion…
SAHIL’S ROOM… Mr. Sen Gupta enters the room hurriedly…
Mr. Sen Gupta: Sahil… What are you doing…??
Sahil: (throws another flower vase joining in the heap of thrashes lying all over the floor) She is mine…!! Only mine…!!
Mr. Sen Gupta: But at least say something… What happened…??
Sahil: How come that Sanky is back…?? They think that they can bring anyone and make us believe that he is Shlok…!! When I clearly know he can’t be… He can never be…!!
Mr. Sen Gupta: Don’t worry I’ll find out who’s he…!! But just relax…!!
Sahil: Relax… (he throws another vase on the mirror this time) How can I relax… How dare he touch her…!! She is mine… Only I have every right on her… Not only now… but ever since I saw her for the first time in college…!! I was about to propose her when that Shlok popped out of nowhere and she got married to him…!! Just like that… (he picks up the stool and is about to throw it when Mr. Sen Gupta holds his hand)
Mr. Sen Gupta: I said that’s enough Sahil… I’m there to find out who’s he…!!
Sahil puts the stool down and sits down on his bed… Mr. Sen Gupta calls someone…
Mr. Sen Gupta: When are you coming back…?? Your brother needs you…!!
Unknown person: Just a week more dad… I’ll be back…!!

At MM… Swara gets up from her sleep and tries to raise her hand to rub her eyes when she feels a tight hold on her palm… She raises her eyes and finds Sanky sound asleep resting his head on the bedpost… He looks cute like a baby and Swara couldn’t help but smile looking at their entangled fingers… She touches Sanky’s hair slightly which causes Sanky get up from the sleep…
Sanky: (get up startled) What… what happened…??
Swara: (smiles) Shh… Relax Mr. Maheshwari… It’s just me…!!
Sanky: Huhh…?? (looks at Swara)
Swara: What are you doing…??
Sanky: What am I doing…??
Swara: (raises their hands and shows them to him) This…!!
Sanky: (shocked) Oh sorry… Actually… you were asleep… and then… I was going… you held… my hand… (Sanky answers nervously)
Swara: Relax… Why are you so nervous…?? You are my husband… so no big deal you held my hand…!! (Sanky looks at her) Thank you…!!
Sanky: For what…??
Swara: For everything…!! Just… for everything…!!
Sanky looks at her… her flickering eyes leaves him speechless and without realizing what he is doing he cups her face…
Sanky: (smiles) You never have to worry about anything… like anything… I’m here… and always will be with you…!!
She smiles and holds his hand… Just then Sanky realizes what he was doing he pulls his hand back and looks everywhere but her… Swara gets up from the bed and starts moving… Just after a few steps she turns around…
Swara: Sanky…??
Sanky: Hmm…!!
Swara: Why do I get a feeling that you are changed…?? You are not the one I have always known…!!
Sanky: (shocked) What…?? (gulps audibly)
Swara: But one thing is for sure… I like this Sanky even more…!!
She smiles at him and leaves after winking at him… Sanky couldn’t help the smile which eventually follows…

Evening at MM… everyone is sitting in the main hall when the landline starts ringing… Ap picks it up and gets happy on hearing the voice…
Ap: Hello…!! You…!! When are you coming back…??
Person: Relax Badi Maa… we all are coming tomorrow morning…!!
Ap: All…??
Person: Yes… all of us…!! See you in the morning…!!
Ap cuts the call and gets happy… She turns to everyone who look at her with a questioning face…
Dp: What happened Annapurna…?? Who is coming…??
Ap: Your brother… with everyone else…!!
Dp: (shocked) Raam…?? (Ap nods his head) That’s a great news…!!
Swara: I think we should get everything ready…!! When are they coming…??
Ap: Tomorrow… Tomorrow morning…!!
Everyone smiles…

Sorry for the short update guys but didn’t had enough time to write a longer part…!! And forgive me if you find this part a boring… I’m half sleepy right now and literally I’m writing whatever is coming to my mind…!! And please suggest something if anything comes to your mind regarding the story…!!
