Before starting, I wanted to inform you that from this episode onwards we will be addressing Varun as Sanky as well, as he will be living at MM… and for the real Sanky i.e. Shlok… I’ll mention about him in flashbacks as and when necessary…!!

*********** Episode 4 *********
Swara: San… Sanky…?? (Varun looks at her) Where… where have you been…?? Koi wapas aane mein itna time lagata hai kya…?? You know how much worried I was… You…
She starts getting some flashes… And before anyone could understand anything she gets unconscious and is about to fall when Varun runs towards her and catches her at the right moment… He looks at her as she falls unconscious in his arms…!!
Varun (Sanky) gets awestruck on seeing Swara… Her unconscious figure fits perfectly in his arms…!! But seeing her in the condition she is, pains him… It seems as if someone has stabbed right in his heart… He doesn’t know himself why… but he feels connected with her pain…!!
As she falls unconscious a few strands of her hairs fall on her face… Sanky forwards his hand to tuck them behind when Ap grabs his hand and jerks it away…
Ap: No need to touch my daughter… I can take care of her…!!
She takes Swara in her embrace and makes her lie on the sofa… Sanky looks at her…
Ap: Call the doctor…!!
Dp: Annapurna… why are you behaving like that…??
Ap: (angrily) I said call the doctor…!!
Dp calls the doctor…
The doctor leaves after checking Swara and giving her some medicines…

Dp, Ap and Sanky are standing in the central hall…
Dp: Annapurna… What’s the matter with you…??
Ap: What’s the matter…?? Seriously you are asking me… What’s the matter…?? You are just bringing anybody to my house… and saying that he will be living with us like our son… and you are asking what’s the matter with me…!!
Dp: But… I did what was necessary…!!
Ap: You think like this we will be able to save our daughter…?? I don’t think so…!!
Dp: Why are you not trying to understand me…??
Ap: You just can’t do anything and expect me to understand you…!!
She looks at both of them angrily and then walks towards her room stomping her feet… Dp takes a deep breath and looks at Sanky…
Sanky: Can I talk to her…??
Dp nods his head and Sanky goes to talk to Ap…

Sanky knocks at the door…
Ap: Please go from here… I don’t want to talk to anyone…!!
Sanky: (from outside) Can I talk to you for once…??
Ap: (a bit angry) What are you doing here…??
Sanky: May I come in… please…??
Ap: (looks at him) Hmm…
Ap is sitting on the side of the bed… Sanky goes and stands in front of her… She looks at him as he sits on his knees in front of her… She gets shocked on seeing this gesture…
Sanky: I understand why you are not approving of me… (Ap looks on as he continues speaking)… I know you are concerned about your daughter-in-law and her safety… But all I can say is you can trust me… My Baba’s moral values and virtues will never let me do something which I might have to regret later in my life…!!
Ap: It’s not only about Swara…!!
Sanky: You don’t have to worry about that… I’m not here to take anyone’s place… Nor I want to do so… Neither I’m your son nor will I try to become one… I’m here just to help a person who is in the utter need of it… I’m here because I feel that’s the right thing to do now…!! I promise the day she will remember everything, I’ll be gone…!! Till then neither I’ll touch her nor will I try to come near her…!!
Ap gets up without saying anything and walks outside towards Dp… Dp and Sanky look at her…
Ap: He gets to stay here…!!
Dp: (happy) What..?? Really…!! I knew you will agree… After all it’s about our daughter…!!
Sanky: Thank you so much…!!
Ap: But only on one condition… (Both of them look at her) He will leave the day Swara remembers everything… Till then he will maintain his distances with her… Even though he is going to be her husband for the meantime but he must never try to get close to her…!! If he agrees he can stay here…
Sanky: (nods his head) I agree… With all your conditions…!!
Ap nods her head and goes back to her room…

Its dinner time… Ap comes back after giving dinner to Swara in her room… Dp and Sanky are sitting on the dinning table…
Dp: So Varun… I guess your work will start now…!! Have you thought how are you going to start…??
Ap: I think you should stop calling him Varun… It won’t be good if Swara finds out…!!
Dp nods his head… and turns to Sanky…
Sanky: I haven’t thought of anything particular… But I think we should find out a way to bring her out of her panic attacks…!!
Dp: Okay we will think about it tomorrow…!! Have your dinner… You must be tired… Just go and take rest today…!! (Sanky nods his head) If you are not comfortable… you can sleep in the guest room for today…!!
Sanky: I think that will be better…
But before Dp could say anything they hear Swara calling from behind…
Swara: Sanky, what are still doing here…?? Haven’t you taken your dinner yet…??
Sanky: (fumbles) Haan… wo… nhi… I mean… no… no… I still haven’t eaten…!!
Swara: Oh… then come fast… I’m feeling sleepy…!!
Sanky: (gulps) What…?? I mean… me…!!
Swara: Of course you… Tch… Do I have four five husbands…?? You are my husband naa… then obviously I’ll be talking to you only…!!
Sanky: (nervous) Okay… You go… I’m coming…!!
Swara: (smiles) Come fast…!!
Ap: Arey haan baba… you go… I’m sending your husband…!! But at least let me spend sometime with my son…!!
Swara: (grins widely) Okay… I’ll be waiting… (to Sanky) You finish your talks…!!
Sanky nods his head and Swara leaves…
Ap: It’s been a while since I saw that smile… (she smiles)
Sanky: (to Ap) Is it something that you want to say…??
Ap gets up and goes to her room… Sanky looks at Dp… Ap returns just after a few moments…
Ap: (to Sanky) Show me your hand…!!
Sanky: (confused) What…??
Ap glares at him and he forwards his left hand towards her…
Ap: Right…!!
Sanky: Huhh…??
Ap: Show me your right hand… not left…!!
Sanky pulls back his left hand and forwards his right hand… Ap takes out a Band-Aid and applies it on his index finger…
Sanky: Arey… what are you doing…?? I’m not hurt… then why are you applying this…??
Ap: Just don’t remove it… You will need this in morning…!!
Sanky: What…??
Ap: Stop asking questions… You will get to know about it in the morning… Now go… otherwise she won’t sleep…!! (Sanky nods his head and turns to go when Ap calls him from behind) And yes…
Sanky: (cuts in between) Don’t worry… I won’t forget my promise…!!
Ap gives a slight smile and Sanky leaves for his room…

SWASAN (Swara… Sanky) ROOM…
Sanky is standing at the doorstep fidgeting and debating with his mind whether to enter the room or not… After rambling for a few minutes he finally decides to go in… He knocks at the door and opens it slowly…
Swara: (looks at him shocked) Sanky… are you alright…??
Sanky: (nervous and starts sweating) Haan… nahin… I mean… I’m perfectly fine… What will happen to me…??
Swara: Then why are you knocking the door of your own room…??
Sanky: Room…?? Yeah right… My room…!!
Swara: (goes near him) Are you fine…?? Why are you sweating so much…??
Sanky: Haan… nothing…!! I think may be because of travelling…
Swara: Oh yes… How was your trip…??
Sanky: Trip… What trip…??
Swara: Oh God… Are you suffering from short term memory loss…?? You went to a trip to USA for a deal naa…!!
Sanky: (to himself) Oh shoot…!! Varun… You are going to make her believe that you are not her husband on your very first day…!! (to Swara) Oh yeah…!! I remember… I remember it perfectly…!! The deal went very well…!!
Swara: Oh good…!! You get changed… I’m going to freshen up…!!
Sanky nods his head and Swara goes to the washroom… As soon as she locks the door Sanky sits on the bed with a thud holding his head in between his palms…
Sanky: What are you doing Varun…?? What are you doing…?? One wrong word and everything will be ruined…!! I have to be more careful while dealing with her… A single shock could be fatal for her…!! I must behave normally in front of her… She must not get a single hint that I’m not her husband…!!
Sanky takes a deep breath and looks around the room… He gives a sigh of relief on seeing a couch in the room besides a king size bed… The room is perfectly designed… a beautiful and mesmerizing combo of blue and white… with a huge photograph of Swara and Shlok’s marriage hanging just above the bedpost… A small room adjacent to their rooms is their private dressing room… Sanky enters the room and finds everything a person might need in there… From tuxedos to dresses… from sherwanis to sarees and lehengas… shoes, high heels, flats, ties, bangles, jewelries… not even a single thing a person might need is missing…
Sanky gets changed in a yellow t-shirt and white trousers… He is standing near the window thinking how his life got changed in such a small duration of two days… Now he is amongst the people he never met before… He is pretending to be a person he never met… He looks at Shlok’s photograph…
Sanky: I don’t know how I am going to do this but I feel I’ll be able to do this…!! I have never met you but seems like I have known you for quite a while…!! From now on Swara is my responsibility…!!
He smiles and looks at the moon… Just then Swara comes…
Swara: Sanky…!!
Sanky: (turns and smiles) Hmm…!!
Swara: Why didn’t you sleep…?? You must be tired naa…!! Don’t tell me you were waiting for me…!!
Sanky looks at her… Swara smiles and before he could understand anything she hugs him tightly… Sanky gets extremely shocked and fails to respond… His hand falls to both his sides…
Swara: (teary eyes) I missed you so much…!! Why did you take so much time…?? You know how much worried I was…!! (she breaks the hug) Oh God… Main bhi naa…!! You are tired and here I started…!! Come lets sleep…!!
She holds Sanky’s hand… He gets shocked and exchanges glances between Swara and the bed…
Swara: (sits on the bed) Are you not going to sleep…??
Sanky: Nahin… Haan… I mean yes…
Swara: Then come… Why are you standing there…?? (taps the other side of the bed)
Sanky sits on the bed hesitantly… Swara smiles seeing him…
Sanky: Good night…!!
He sleeps on his side and closes his eyes tightly…

AFTER AN HOUR…
Sanky opens his eyes slowly and finds Swara sleeping peacefully… He slips off the bed slowly and settling himself on the couch he too dozes off…!!

Finally done with the episode… I hope its better than the previous ones…!! I know you all are eager to know about Sanskaar but you have to wait sometime for it…!! It will also be revealed soon…!!
And sorry for the short update… Actually I’m not feeling well since last four-five days and I’m writing this episode just coming after attending a class of continuous 12 hours… and today also I have my classes from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm… So see you at night with all your complaints and suggestions… Till then happy reading… Good bye…!!
