She heard someone opening the door.
Ranveer “ What are u doing not even switching on the lights?” He asked as he was about to on the lights.
Pragya “ Don’t on the lights…please…”
Ranveer “ Ok…” He said as he walked towards her.
He sat beside her and held her hand softly.
She was startled at his touch but remained silent.
Ranveer “ Do u miss him?” He asked caringly.
Pragya was taken aback by his question.
Ranveer “ Do u know why I married u?”
Pragya “ To revenge Bhai…”
Ranveer shook his head and let her hand off.
Ranveer “ Yes…but it’s also because of love!”
Pragya “What do u mean?” She asked with confusion.
Ranveer “ I loved Bulbul…but your brother made him marry Purab….Do u know how bad I felt when my love was snatched away from me? I didn’t even have the chance to express my love to her!”
Pragya “ I know…”
Ranveer “ But u had a chance to tell me that u don’t want me right?”
Pragya was shocked at his question.
Ranveer “ Are u wondering how have I changed so much? Are u thinking how am I talking like this?”
Pragya “ Yes…I have never heard u talking in such a calm tone…”
Ranveer chuckled lightly and said “ I know u never loved me….even just now u were looking lost…”
Pragya “ You know that?”
Ranveer “ Yes…I know.. I think I only know u more….I showed more hatred towards u to know more about u…”
Pragya “I…don’t…” She hesitated.
Ranveer “ I know what u want to say…but let me ask u something..if u can answer that then all will be solved….”
Pragya “ What do u want to ask?”
Ranveer asked and Pragya was stunned of his question.
Ranveer “ You can’t answer this right? When u find the answer for this then that day is your freedom day from everything…”
Pragya hearing all this could only gasped in shock.
Ranveer “ I may not be lucky to get love from anyone…but u are lucky to get love even from my loved ones….” He said that and stood up from the bed.
Pragya “ Who said u are not lucky to get love?”
Ranveer “ Who should say Pragya? I myself can see it right?”
Pragya “ What if you get love from someone who love u madly, truly and deeply?”
Ranveer “ Is there someone like that?”
Pragya remained silent as she had no answers.
Ranveer smiled lightly and was about to leave the room when she said “ If u believe in love then it might happen…”
Ranveer “ I did once and it turned me into a cruel man who cared for nothing….”
Pragya “ Believe me…you will definitely find your love….”
Ranveer “ Let’s see…” He said hopelessly and closed the door.
Pragya came to the room from the balcony by wiping her glasses that was fogged with tears. She realized someone was sitting on the bed wearing like her.
Pragya “ Who is this?” She asked in a shivering tone.
“Switch on the lights! Then u will know who it is!” She said.
Pragya nervously switched on the lights and asked in shock “ Why I can’t see u??”
“Wear your glasses first!” She replied.
Pragya wearing the glasses was shocked to see her. Pragya “ Why are u here?”
“That’s not important! I have something important to tell u!” She said in a rush.
Pragya “ What?”
She explained whatever had happened and Pragya was shell shocked to hear that.
“ He understand your feelings but he fails to understand your presence…” She said.
Pragya “ It’s because he never feels my presence with love before…”
“ Thank god! I am kind of good at mimicry!” She said proudly.
Pragya “ That means he is yearning for love!”
“Very much…very desperate, I would say.” She replied.
Pragya sat down thinking of how to give him hope that he deserves another chance.Perhaps, another love chance.
As this was happening, Abhi was behaving as if nothing had happened. He just told Naina that everything was over and now his concern is all about Cutie and her.
Naina was worried as Abhi is keeping his sorrows to himself.
He was absolutely normal even if Cutie talked about Pragya, he just smiled in return.
But on one particular day,
Cutie “ Friend…di is not coming nowadays again! Why Friend?” Abhi just smiled again and said “ Di and I….” He looked away to hide his tears that flowed from his eyes and was unable to complete his sentence.
Cutie “ Di and u?” Abhi “ Di and I have become enemies….” He said and walked away.
Naina looking at this from a distance was filled with tears as she understand her Bhai is really affected by whatever happened.
Naina followed Abhi to console him.
As for Cutie, she gets horrified at Abhi’s words and she immediately calls Rakesh.
Rakesh hearing it also gets shocked.
Rakesh “ I know angry bird is bad but he is not that bad…”
Cutie “ I don’t know…it means we cannot meet Friend and di together anymore!!!”
Realizing that she started to cry.
Rakesh “ Don’t cry like a baby Cutie!”
Cutie trying to control her crying said “ I am not baby! Why they are enemies?”
Rakesh “ Did u ask your Mummy?” Cutie “ No…she only say don’t ask about di to friend!” Rakesh “ But u ask just now!”
Cutie “ She was in kitchen so I asked Friend!”
Rakesh “ We will find out!”
Cutie “ How?” She asked doubtfully.
Rakesh “ Spying!”
Cutie “ Spying? What’s that?” Rakesh “ You don’t know spying!” Cutie shrugged her shoulder and Rakesh “ Hello! Can u hear me?” Cutie “ Yes…but what is spying?”
Rakesh “Google it! I don’t have time to explain! The spelling I will send u in message! Bye!” He ended the call by saying that and Cutie was waiting for his message.
She saw his message and googled it. She was amazed to see the pictures of spies.
Cutie again called Rakesh.
Cutie yelled “I know the meaning! We are spies!!”
Rakesh “ Haan but u can’t tell that loudly!!!” Cutie became quiet and Rakesh “ Now listen carefully, We need to spy angry bird and Pretty Pragya….You say GG if u understand and NG if u don’t understand!”
Cutie couldn’t understand why she should say GG and NG.
Cutie “NG!” Rakesh “ What NG?” Cutie “ I don’t understand…” Rakesh “ What u don’t understand?” Cutie “ Why must I say GG and NG?” She asked by scratching her head.
Rakesh “ Code words…Spies use code words when talking so that others don’t understand!” Cutie “GG!” Rakesh “ I will send u the code words to your email as Aunty can see your message in phone!” Cutie “ I can delete the message after seeing it!” Rakesh “ No! I will sent u an email only!” Cutie shook her head at his stubbornness.
Cutie “ Okie send me now!” Rakesh “ Bye Cutie!” Cutie ended the call and was now waiting for the email.
Finally when the email was received, Cutie was feeling proud as she was addressed as Ms Cutie in the email. After Ranveer, Rakesh was the second person to call her that way.
She quickly took note of the code words on a notepad and hid it in her school bag.
They began their secret mission by asking Purab to bring Rakesh to where Pragya was as he want to collect his bag from her. Purab felt if he comes then Pragya’s mood may lighten up as she is fond of kids. Pragya was being normal too but not like before.
After reaching the house, Rakesh was in awe of it.
Rakesh, Pretty Pragya lives here….It’s so pretty like her….
He thought that by looking around the house standing beside Purab.
Rakesh looked up and saw Ranveer walking down the stairs. He doesn’t know until now that Rakesh is his son. He saw him and smiled lightly. Purab asked him to wait by sitting on the huge sofa.
Rakesh loved the soft sofa which reminded him of his soft bed back at home. He closed his eyes and hugged the cushions there.
He drifted to sleep in the comfortness and when Pragya came there she saw him sleeping soundly.
Pragya smiled looking at him, How sweet he is looking in sleep.
Purab “ He slept? So fast!!!” Purab was about to wake him up when Pragya stopped him.
Purab “ Why? He wants to see u and why are u stopping me?” Pragya “ Never mind Purab…I will take care of him…thanks for bringing him here….” He smiled in return and couldn’t understand why Pragya sounds emotional about Rakesh’s arrival.
Pragya sat beside him and made his head lie on her lap. She slowly run her hands through his soft and fluffy hair.
Pragya, I wished u were with me from the beginning….Destiny distanced us but somehow u were around me too…I also don’t know why destiny always distance me from my loved ones….
She thought that as she looked at Rakesh and kissed his forehead affectionately.
Ranveer who saw that thought, Seems like she is missing her child too…
He never disturbed her and went back to his room after getting the files from one of the rooms.
Rakesh opened his eyes his lazily and saw Pragya looking at him pleasantly.
Rakesh “ Pretty Pragya! U are here??” Pragya “ Haan sweet boy…” She told in a soft tone.
Rakesh waking up from her lap looked at her blinking many times.
Pragya “ What happened?” Rakesh “ I am hungry…” Pragya “ Okok! Wait here I will bring for you something to eat!” She hurried to the kitchen and Rakesh walked towards the door.
He called Cutie and said “ Sorry Kochie! I slept on the sofa! It’s so soft!!!” Cutie was annoyed that she had to wait for his call for so long.
Rakesh again “ Kochie!” Cutie “ Kochie Ka! Next time u don’t sit there!” Rakesh “ Ok Kochie and Are u alone?” Cutie “ Yes at Friend’s home!” Rakesh “ I am not alone!” Cutie in a panicked tone “ Why? Someone with u?” Rakesh “ No I am with my phone!” Cutie “ Oye! Don’t be funny!” Rakesh “ Ok She is sad and looks sad…” Cutie “ He is sad toooo…” Rakesh “ Start Plan 2?” Cutie “ No! Plan 3!!!” They were arguing which plan when Cutie was caught by Naina and Rakesh caught by Purab.
Naina “ Who are u talking to by whispering?” Purab “ Rakesh! Who are u talking to?” Both looked nervous and they remained silent.
Getting suspicious of their behaviour, Purab took the phone from him and Naina took the phone from her.
Naina “ Who is this?” Purab “ Who is this?” Both asked at the same time. Naina “ Purab?” Purab “ Naina?” Naina “ Yes!” Purab “Yes!” Naina and Purab at the same time “ What were u talking?” They both chuckled realizing their same timing and same words. From there both were talking happily, leaving Rakesh and Cutie to be disappointed.

Abhi, I know she is doing all this as his wife but why can’t she do that in their room! Why does she have to do it in front of me??
