Pragya “ Who is that?” She asked looking at Abhi. Abhi “ How would I know when this is your house?” Pragya in a shaky voice “Ok…I mean at this time…who will come?” Abhi “Let me open and see!”
Abhi was about to stand when she stopped him by holding his hand.
Pragya worriedly “ Let me go and check…” Abhi “ Don’t worry…just go and see, I am here na!” Pragya smiled in return and went ahead to open the door.
Pragya opening the door “ Ma….” She said with shock.
Ma “ Yes I know u would be here…but didn’t expect Abhi to be here too…” She said by looking at Abhi who standing.
Abhi “ Ma…come in!” Ma “ It’s okay Abhi…I don’t want to disturb both of you! I was just worried for Pragya as I revealed to her about Rakesh…but then you two need time to spent with each other na…” She said that grimly with a stern face.
Pragya “ Ma it’s not like what you are thinking…” Abhi “ Yes Ma…please come in…” Ma reluctantly came inside the house.
Abhi “ Ma…I know u are very upset about what is happening now….” Ma “ Upset is not the word that can describe my feelings Abhi! I am shocked of whatever that is happening! He is in hospital! Ranveer making your marriage arrangements with Shalu! You being very casually coming to my house in some grandpa get up! Then Shalu is in love with someone! Purab also love someone! Now you two being here at this time!!” She said that and was breathless.
Pragya “ Ma…Relax…sit down first…” Abhigya both tried to calm her down but she never listen to them.
Abhi “ Ma!! Let me tell u one important thing!! Hearing that u will get a hope! Even Pragya doesn’t knows about it!” Pragya hearing that looked shocked just like Ma.
Ma sat down on the sofa and asked with a stressed look “ Now what??”
Abhi sitting beside her “ Ma…Ranveer’s motive is to take revenge towards whoever is related to Arjun!” Ma “ I know this before…That’s why he is torturing Pragya physically and mentally until now!” Abhi smirked hearing that.
Pragya looking at him “Is it something to smile about?” Abhi “ No…but u all never noticed that now he is not torturing Pragya like before…” Ma hearing that realized that Abhi is right. Now it’s more of just sarcastic comments from Ranveer. He is even fine with Pragya not staying in his room.
Pragya “ It’s because now he is eyeing on Naina thinking that she is Bulbul na! That is not at all acceptable!”
Ma with a puzzled look “ Naina? Who’s that?” Abhi “ Leave that Ma….what Pragya says is right in a way but if we divert Ranveer from what he wants then all the shock u are having will disappear!”
Ma “ What do you mean?” Pragya wondered what is he referring to.
Abhi “ Love Ma…He needs to know what is love…why does he need love…”
Ma “ Abhi! Don’t even try to think that he would fall in love! It’s impossible!” She said sternly. Abhi holding her hand “ Ma…this is why you all never managed to change him…I know him from young Ma…he is different with the people whom he thinks that likes him….” Ma “ Are u saying we never showed that we liked him?” Abhi “ Oh Ma…it’s not that way…It’s just small things that I observed about him Ma…now it’s time to make those small things as big things that will impact him….” Ma “ I don’t know how u have so much of faith that u can change him and that too even after knowing that he is responsible for your sister’s death…”
Pragya hearing that was about to tell that she is alive as Naina but Abhi signalled to her not to tell.
Pragya, Why does he don’t want to tell Ma about this….I know I hide this from Ma…but it’s not wrong to tell her right?
Abhi “ Ma…trust me….I will never let you down…” He said convincingly. Ma “ I know u will never let me down but I am worried your actions will let you down Abhi…Why do u have to built up so much of hope on hopeless things now?” She asked with concern. Abhi “ For love…For the love I have towards all those who are related to me….” He said that by looking at Pragya and then Ma.
Ma “You will never change… “ She said that with a smile by patting Abhi’s cheek caringly. Abhi “Now come Ma…I will drop u at home…” Ma “ No Abhi…I will go by myself…I am sorry for talking harshly just now…”
Abhi “ It’s alright Ma…I can understand all this happens and even Pragya was like that just now!”
He said that by winking at Pragya. Ma “Why was she like that?” Abhi “Ma…I will tell u later…now I am very tired! Let’s go!” Ma “No! If Ranveer knows that I meet you then he will get suspicious…You stay here with Pragya! Make sure she comes back home tomorrow!” Abhi nodded his head in response. Pragya “Then I come with you Ma…” Ma “Pragya…you have told Purab to Ranveer that you are helping your friend at some village! How can u come with me now? I came here without his knowledge too!” Pragya “Ma…but…” Abhi “She is right Pragya…Ma I will take care of her and I also know about Rakesh…” Ma “You know about him?” She asked in shock. Abhi “That’s why we are awake until now! It was not that easy for me to make Pragya to tell the truth!” Ma “I know…Well I know what would be your decision on this…so now both of u go and sleep!”
Pragya hearing that, Even Ma understands him so well but why am I not able to understand him well?
Abhigya bid bye to Ma and saw her leaving in the car.
Pragya walking back to her room looked at Abhi. Abhi “What are you looking at?” Pragya “Where will you sleep?” Abhi “Of course on bed!!” Pragya “Oh..then I will sleep on the sofa…”
She said that by picking up the pillow. Abhi taking the pillow from her hand “I was just kidding…anyways your bed is too small for me! The last time u made me sleep on it I was like having a hard time on it!” Pragya smiled hearing that.
Abhi “ I shall sleep on the sofa…but I can’t wait to sleep beside you Pragya on our bed!” Pragya blushed hearing that and looked away.
Abhi “Wow! You are blushing for bed!!!” Pragya “Chee…go out now!” Abhi pulling her closer to him “Just can’t wait for that! But if you don’t mind…shall we do that now?” He said that with his mischievous eyes. Pragya looked at him with her eyes widely opened hearing that.
Abhi “Why are u getting shocked? I mean we can have a trial na…” Pragya “I know you won’t cross your limits….You are just telling this for fun…” Abhi letting her off “Not bad you know about me….but my words are really true Pragya…” He said that by walking near to the door.
Pragya saw him about to close the door and said “Let it be open…” Abhi “Why?” Pragya “I will be able to feel your presence if it’s open…” Abhi with a confused look “Huh? I will be in the living room and you over here! How can u feel my presence?” Pragya “I can as my heart itself is open to you na…” Abhi shaking his head “Acha…..itna love?” Pragya nodded her head with a pleasant smile. Abhi “Ok go and sleep! I am so tired!” With that both went to sleep with the thoughts of each other.
Pragya lying on her bed by covering herself with blanket thought, I am not sure how long I will have to wait to get out of all the mess that is in my life….but I am very sure this wait is worth it as I will be with you forever Abhi…..that is the only moment that I am waiting for….
As for Abhi resting himself on the sofa, I am able to make you express your worries and feelings to me, but I am unable to express my worries to you Pragya….I don’t have the strength to see my worries worrying you Pragya…I am waiting to pour out all my worries to you but I am scared what if that moment is not worth it for you?
At Naina’s house,
Cutie waked up from sleep and she realized Ma was not beside her. Cutie, Where did Ma go? She always sleep beside me!
With that she opened the door to check where is Naina. She went to other rooms to but Naina was nowhere to be found. Cutie got scared and went to kitchen. Cutie saw the kitchen lights still on but Naina was not there too.
Suddenly she heard the door opening sound. She with nervousness went out of the kitchen and saw Naina. Cutie ran towards her and screamed “Ma!!!” She hugged her and “Where did you go Ma? I got so scared!” Naina with a smile “Just went to your friend’s house to tidy up…” Cutie “Why now?” Naina “I was not able to sleep Cutie…that’s why….you got scared?” Cutie nodded her head with a sad pout. Naina “Sorry baba…come I will carry you!” Cutie “No Mumma…you look very tired! I will bring water for you!” Naina smiled at Cutie’s concern. Cutie “First sit down!” Naina sat down on the sofa and saw Cutie leaving to her room take her water bottle.
Naina holding her head, I also don’t know why I feel so tired….Yes I know I cleaned Bhai’s house but I always do that….Don’t know why my head is like spinning after drinking water from the fridge in Bhai’s house.
Cutie in her room, Where is my bottle? I kept it here!
She was trying to remember where the bottle was and by then Naina was slowly having the effects of drinking what she was not supposed to drink.
Naina yelled “ Mummy!!!!” Cutie “Mummy?? Why Mummy is shouting Mummy?” Cutie ran out of her room and saw Naina sitting on the floor. Cutie coming near her “Ma…water bottle is lost! I can’t find it!” Naina looked at her by tilting her head and blinked her eyes many times. Cutie also did the same way Naina did. Naina “Copy cat!!!” Cutie shook her head hearing that.
Naina “You are…..” Cutie “Ma…I am Cutie!” Naina “No!!! You are my Mummy!”
Cutie hearing that thought, Did I become old so fast?
Naina “Mummy! Come here! I want to sleep on your lap!” Cutie looked puzzled of why Naina is calling her mummy. Cutie sat beside Naina and Naina laid her head on Cutie’s lap. Cutie “Ma…slowly…” Naina pouted and nodded her head and made sure she never placed too much pressure on Cutie’s lap.
Naina starting to tell about Arjun and Cutie wondered what happened to her Ma. Cutie “Ma…you miss Papa?” Naina like a child “Mummy..I miss my Papa too…” Cutie “Your Papa is also up in the sky?” Naina nodded her head sadly. Cutie “Why all the Papa go to sky?” Naina chuckled and said “ Maybe they like to be up so high….” She said that in a high pitched tone and closed her eyes. Cutie, Now how will I bring Ma to room?
Naina opened her eyes and pressed Cutie’s nose as if it was a button.
Cutie “ Ma! My nose is not button!!!” Naina looked sad again and cried saying “ Mummy scold me!!!” Cutie “ Ma I never scold u! I am not your Mummy!”
Naina waked up from her lap and was about to slap Cutie but missed it.
Cutie, Something is wrong Ma never behave like this…
Naina crawled away from Cutie and turned back “ Mummy! Will u bring me to playground? I want to play swinging!”
Cutie hearing that looked shocked.
Cutie “ Ma! You don’t even like me to play at night! Now u want to play??”
Naina got angry and crawled further away.
Cutie went behind her and stopped Naina as she was about to crawl into the storeroom.
Cutie “ Ma…let’s go and sleep!” Naina looked her for a while and said “ Ok Mummy after that we will go playground!” Cutie was relieved at least she agreed to sleep now.
Cutie “ First stand up Ma!” Naina frowned hearing that. Cutie “ Okok you just come like this…” Naina smiled in happiness and continued to crawl following Cutie.
Naina stood up finally and was very unsteady. She just fall on bed by screaming “ Mummy! Mummy!” Cutie runs and attends to her. Cutie “ What happened?” Naina “ I fall in sea!!! Save me!! MUMMY SAVE ME!”
Cutie “ Mummy! This is bed not sea!!” Naina “Really? Come and fall!!” Cutie shook her head in disbelief and sat beside Naina.
Naina holding onto Cutie’s hand “ Mummy don’t leave me…” Cutie “ Ok Ma…” Naina “I am not Ma…I am Poo…” Cutie “ Ok Poo..” Naina hearing that got very happy and said “ Mummy! Now can we go playground?” Cutie “ No Ma…sleep first…” Naina got angry and pushed Cutie away.
Luckily Cutie never fall but she couldn’t believe Naina’s actions.
She feel helpless of Naina’s tantrums. Cutie tried calling Abhigya for help but their phone was not reachable. They were in deep sleep. Cutie managed to call Purab.
Cutie “ Hello Uncle! Please help me!” She said worriedly. Purab “ Cutie? What happened? U are still awake?” Cutie “ Yes…Ma…” From the back Naina is shouting Mummy even louder. Cutie trying to tell loudly “ Uncle! Please come here! Ma is like small kid here! She want to go playground!” Purab waking up from his bed “ What? Playground? Okok you stay calm Cutie! I am coming now…”
Purab was worried as he have slowly fallen in love with Naina, not because she looks like Bulbul but being with her he feels a level of comfort that he wants all along his life. He managed to reach Naina’s house quickly and was shocked to see even the door was open.
Purab “ Cutie! Where are u?” Cutie from the room “ Uncle! I am in my room! I can’t come out!!” Purab rushed to see what’s happening and was shocked to see the sight in front of him.
Naina was trying to tie Cutie’s hands with rubber bands so that she can escape and go to playground.
Purab “Naina!! What are u doing?” Naina hearing the loud voice looked at Purab. Naina blinked her eyes but she couldn’t see Purab. She saw him as Arjun.
Naina “ You are back? Arjun…you are back?” Naina stood up and was about to fall when Purab held her firmly.
Naina looked into Purab’s eyes and touched his face soothingly making Purab uncomfortable.
Cutie took off the rubber bands from her hand and stood up.
Cutie “ Uncle! I don’t know what happened! Ma went to friend’s house and after coming back she is like a small kid!!” She told worriedly.
Purab making Naina lie on the bed said “ Cutie…you go and sleep in the next room…I think Ma is not well…” He realized she is drunk from the strong smell of alcohol but he can’t tell that to Cutie.
Cutie got even more worried hearing that and said “ I will stay with Ma…she is very unwell…” She looked at Naina but Naina was keep on looking at Purab thinking he was her Arjun.
Purab “ No Cutie…I will take care of her…u go and sleep…I will call u if I need any help!”
Cutie “ Ok uncle…” She said that in a low tone leaving the room keep on looking at Naina. Purab gave an assuring look to Cutie and she went inside the next room to sleep.
Purab “ Why Naina? Why do u have to drink that?” Naina looked puzzled and closed her eyes.
Purab “ Naina…” Naina “ Who is Naina?” Purab “ You!” Naina “ I am Poo aka Purvi!” Purab let a light smile.
Naina “ This smile…Same smile is what I fall for you….” Purab looking away “I am not Arjun….I am Purab…” Naina shook her head and stood up. Purab “ Naina u need to sleep…don’t stand up!” Naina never listened and was about to leave the room. Purab pulled her in closing the door and Naina smiled widely.
Naina “ I know u won’t leave me….u always do like this…” She said that by touching his stubble in a seductive way.
Purab “ Please…come with me now!” Naina “No…I want you…I want you in me….” She said sensuously by touching his lips.
Purab is trying to tell himself that she is not in her senses and he can’t take advantage of her but the way she is looking and touching him is making it difficult.
Naina “ I just wanna say….” Purab looked at her with mixed emotions. Naina without waiting for his response kissed him passionately and pushed him to the bed.
Purab “Naina…” He said trying to move away. Naina kissing his lips lightly “ Arjun…I missed you so much…” Purab “ Naina I am not Arjun…” He finally managed to move away from her and pulled her to the bathroom.
Naina biting her lower lip “ Hey Naughty…you wanna do bathroom romance ah?” Purab shook his head as no. Naina with a wink “ You are saying yes in silence! Come let’s do it!” She was about to take off her shirt when Purab stopped her.
Purab “ You are totally not in your senses!” Before she could utter a word he turned on the shower and made her under it.
Naina “ It’s so cold!!! I want hot romance not cold romance!!” Purab chuckled hearing that thinking she is really good in this matters.
Soon Naina was back to herself and looked at Purab in shock.
Naina shrieked “ What are u doing here??” Purab “ Thank god! You are back!” Naina pushed him away and turned off the shower.
She was very conscious of him being here and looking at her being wet. Naina shouted “ Get out!!” Purab understood her feelings and waited for her in living room.
Naina came back after a while and looked at Purab fiercely. Naina “ What was that?How can u even come into my bathroom when I was taking a shower??”
Purab “ Who will take their shower at 1 am?” Naina looked at the time and looked away. Purab “ Naina…your were drunk and throwing tantrums….Cutie called me here as she couldn’t handle you…” Naina panicked “ What? How did this happen?” Purab “ That’s not important now…Cutie was really scared and worried for you…she is sleeping in the next room…you have to check on her…” Naina felt embarrassed of her actions and said “ Thank you…sorry for bothering you too…” Purab “ It’s okay Naina! I will leave now…” Naina was keep on looking away and Purab smiled seeing that.
He left the house and Naina went to sleep beside Cutie. Cutie hugged Naina in sleep but Naina couldn’t sleep as she remembered her kiss to Purab.
Naina, Thank god! He never spoke about that….but how can I see my Arjun in him? This is not at all right….
